Morn nods in thanks to the cart driver as they arrive at the river. He then looks around for any raftsman that can either offer information on the marshes or help them up the river and into the marshes (Perception: 7).
Sirq finishes his flute serenade and puts the flute back in his belt loop. He approaches one of the raftsmen. “Hello,” he simply says. “We were hoping to acquire passage into the marshes, would you be willing to help us out?” (Persuasion: 9 - not sure if Haunted One class feature can apply here).
A puzzled look crosses Morn's face, "I think the man's nod was directing us up the banks a little to this Clem. My thanks, sir, and good day to you... as best it can be, given the surrounds." Morn nods to the fellow who had just given them directions and begins making his way up the banks of the river to the disreputable sailor and his equally disreputable boat.
"Morning to you, sir," Morn waves as he approaches, "I hope that I've come to the right man named Clem? We've been told that you might be able to help take us up river into the marshes. Is this true?"
"Hee hee, you foun' ol' Clem alrigh'! I ken take ye wheren yer wantin', long as yer coin's good!"
It's a boat. It seems somewhat less leaky than Clem's mostly toothless mouth, he wipes a bit of spittle into his scruff after speaking. You all should fit, at least.
"It's two days to the edge of the Marsh, that's as far in as I can go. Say... two gold per head, per day? How long you planning on mucking about in there?"
Samael, not being an expert on boats, finds a long central cabin, with walkways on either side. Long poles are stacked in racks. It's not the cleanest, but things don't seem in danger of falling apart.
"Our thanks, Clem," Morn nods as he boards and hands his share of the gold directly to the boatsman. "Perhaps while we travel for the next two days, you might share some of your knowledge of these marshes with me? I'm keen to learn more of hereabouts... and who better to learn from than a man spending his life on the marshes like yourself?"
"I'm a riverman, not one of them marshfolk." Clem says. "But sure, we can gab a bit."
If the party pays up and boards, Clem whistles and a trio of younger rivermen slouch down to the boat. They all look live younger iterations of Clem, presumably all family.

Trinjya approaches the riverman, puts a hand on his shoulder and gives him her most endearing smile.
"I'm sure these 2 Gold per head and day applie to big, smelly and unpleasant people who usually board your boat but what about young ladies and her friends? What do you say? Half the trouble for half the price? You'll enjoy our music and our company."
Trinjya puts her hand on the big, smelly, unpleasant person and attempts to sweet talk a lower fee.
"Two gold a head per day upriver and however many days you want us waiting on you, but you make for enjoyable company, we can talk about cutting the rate on the way back downriver."

Sirq looks through his backpack. "I, unfortunately, have no coin, so unless someone else would like to pay the price for me, I would not be able to travel upriver with everyone else." He frowns and fidgets with the flute in his belt loop.
"I am bereft of funds, however I am willing to work my time spend onboard off to pay for one way passage. is that an acceptable term of employment for the captain of this vessel?" Samael honestly states.

There are people bustling around, but they seem busy, no one taking much note of your party.

The fellow spits into the water. "Not me. But ya might ask Clem, he takes... tourists out sometimes."
He nods up the bank to a disreputable looking fellow and his even more disreputable looking boat.
