Misha startled and turned towards Jorah. Then looked down realizing how short he was.
"Oh!"she said, pleasantly surprised. She shifted her weight towards him. She looked at him for a moment with a humorous look, thought a moment, and decided to take a chance. "Hello Jorah! Eez am Misha zeh Red. I hef heard tales of your deeds - am honored to meet the one who ees slayer of giant leezards and hellhounds! Misha saw how you bravely fought zeh troll - very eempressive!"
Alexa nods in answer to Misha's words. "Indeed, they've served us very well. Saved more than a few initiates lives." She smiles as Misha answers Jorah, pushing her hair back from her face momentarily.
Flowers looks around at those assembled around the table as introductions are made, nodding at each in turn.
"I am Flowers, well met everyone. A troll is no easy foe to take down, you all did well." he then turns to Volo "A manhunt eh?" his tail swishes back and forth excitedly "you my friend are in luck, I just happen to be a bounty hunter."
‘I’m Marla Ravenwhisper, a seer of some renown, and this is Shade, my spirit guide. I do find myself in need of funds, so I’d be happy to help find your friend.’She pulls a stack of coins towards her. ‘You can consider this a retainer...’
She pauses. ‘I think we’ll also need expenses. We’ll be appropriately frugal of course...’
Misha had no use for money. Some things never changed. She helped her parents with their business because she loved them. They raised her. And, she enjoyed the job. Mother kept the books, Father bought the supplies - taught me the business, and I helped with the customers and production. She watched everyone take some, but made no move to do so.
Volo would smile as you all talk among yourselves and his eyes would light up as you show interest in helping him with his cause. "Oh! well yes.. You would get 10 dragons now each and then the rest of the coin once you have found my friend. I am afraid I don't have any additional funds on me at the moment for expenses" He would add with a small laugh" I am still waiting on the royalty payments from my book "Volo's guide to Monsters".. but I could pay for your lunch I suppose" His eyes would move from each of you and then to his hands. The man taps a copy of his book with his face on the cover unconsciously as if slightly nervous or worried.
When Jen asks about his location, the old man lets out a small worried sigh. "Two nights ago, right before he disappeared we were drinking and and discussing my latest works at the Skewered Dragon. It is a a dark, bawdy tavern in the Dock Ward... Not a place I like to frequent but the food and drinks are inexpensive. Floon is a handsome human man in his early thirties with wavy red-blond hair. He was dressed in princely garb when I last saw him." He would say as his eyes once again move to each of you at the table. "I think the Skewered Dragon is where I would start looking.. but my expertise is not in bounty hunting much like yourself" The man would say looking to Flowers with a smile before it quickly fades. "Please help me find my friend."
Jorah knew the Skewered Dragon, it was on the lower end of city and the guards were more lax...it was also close to where his tribe's sewer spot laid. He casted a gaze towards Alexa as she accepted the mission and huffed some air out from his snout, looking at the large cat man, "Alexa, Izz also bountee hunter. I can take job to." He nodded towards his friend, and Volo, he liked shinnies, but he valued making sure his friend didn't get hurt....plus, there was always the chance he could find something interesting to steal.
"Great! Splendid!" Volvo would say with a smile. "Durnan! please put their tabs for lunch on my bill!" He would shout towards the barkeep as Durnan wipes troll blood from the floor. "I will be here awaiting good news!" He says excitedly to the group before heading upstairs to his room.
(OOC: So are you heading straight towards the dock district or did you want to do any shopping with your 10g?)
As you all make your way out of the tavern, you are all greeted once again by the dense fog and drizzle. The damp weather manages to keep anyone not required to be outside off of the streets as you head out towards the dock ward. After a few minutes you hear a bit of commotion as voices shout orders to one another in the mist. As you turn a corner, you find yourselves on a street that has been cordoned off by the City Watch. Lying on the cobblestones are a half-dozen corpses, seemingly the victims of some terrible skirmish. Watch officers have disarmed and arrested three blood-drenched humans and are in the midst of questioning witnesses. One of the officers sees you. “Get on,” she says. “Nothing to see here.”
As Alexa moves closer the officer holds up her hand "I'm sorry, but there's no helping the six victims.. and as for these three. Most the blood covering them isn't there own." She would say very pointedly. "Damn gangs got us working doubleshifts" She would grumble herself before motioning again for you to all keep moving.
Flowers spots an older member of the watch that is searching a nearby ally across the street for more evidence. He is a bit disheveled looking with his armor not nearly polished as well as the others and his beard hasn't been trimmed in weeks. The man is just doing the bare minimum needed until retirement and is often willing to share information with the tabaxi for a bit of coin.. for his early retirement fund.. as he calls it.
Flowers will tell the group he will catch up and move over to the older gentleman (Clayton Byers)
"There you are Clayton, it seems you've seen better days hehe. What's going on here? Heard one of the watch mention gangs? Anything I might be interested in?"
Misha walked with her new friends and observed the scene with the dead bodies as if it was nothing unusual. She kept pace with the group and seemed unbothered by anything, a very slight smile on her face, hands behind her back. She seemed to enjoy feeling of the drizzling rain on her face.

Alexa takes the bag after a moment, letting the others ask question for now as she considers options for finding Floon, nibbling her lip lightly.
