"sure, I suppose stopping at the closer port wouldn't hurt. One less ship to be destroyed if we encounter a giant sea monster as well" He would say with a smile.
"Bladen Hold is one of the closer ports to Meletis." Gnorcys says with a nod. "I've been there many times." She considers it. "I'd guess they'll put the pirates on a ship and send them to Meletis." She says in response to what the port is likely to do with the pirates.
"I agree we should make for the nearest port," Ritha says. "Though I am not so certain that we should be eager to sell a blessing which the gods have granted to us. The Devil may be useful to us in the future yet."
"We would only stay one night." Gnorcys says with a glance to the group. "We can purchase some few supplies, but it is still our best bet to resupply once more before entering the uncharted seas."
Gnorcys lets you guys discuss what you wish to do with the other ship, but makes the slight adjustments to the course, to allow for stopping at the closer port.
The ship moves onward and soon it is nighttime. Kassiopeia has a vision that night, of the ship filled to the brim of food. She also senses that, not far away, is people who are in need of such provisions.
In the morning you all wake to find the ship continuing its course to the closer port.
Kassiopeia runs around nervously on deck looking for the captain.
Upon finding Gnorcys: "Do you have a map of the surrounding islands? or sea? and polis? ... Have you maybe heard of any recent catastrophy or such?"
Continueing after a brief pause: "Karametra has given me a vision that there are people in dire need and I think she wants me to help them ... or maybe us ... or all of us!"
(Does Kassiopeia have any recollection of the vision and the ship she saw? - was it 'Devil'- or the 'Jester'-sized?)
"I don't know how any island can be starving... you're surrounded by the sea and its bounty of fish!" The Satry would exclaim. "The sea always provides but... I guess there could be some kind of sea monster scaring away all the fish or something." Spyro would muse to himself.
"If the gods have directed us to assist these people, then we should assist them," Xerronios says. Though the Leonine felt no reverence for the gods there was no doubting their power and reach.
"While the sea is bountiful, even my people relied on the temple to ply Thassa for blessings, so that the harvests would be plentiful enough to feed the populace. It may be that those who dwell on land have no knowledge or ability to fully harness the power of the sea, and the treasures that lie below the waves. Many of those who are land-bound never even learn how to properly swim," Ritha laments. "Though if they are in such great need, there is no doubt that teaching them how to properly fish will do just as much for them as providing temporary assistance in the form of relief supplies."
"There are many small islands around, but none that I know of that close to us right now..." Gnorcys says with a wave to the group. "Let us go and check the maps..." You make your way into the captain's quarters and she lays out several maps on ehr table. Glancing to the group she asks. "Any place in particular feel more likely to any of you?"
You see the vast sea mapped out before you. Gnorcys places a token on the map, showing where you are currently located.
Kanlos looks to map, "Your dream indicated that we would, or at least should, be filled with food when we arrived. Perhaps that means we should continue to port and stock up when there? Also, are you sure its an island, or an island village or city, as opposed to a ship wreck or something?"
Kassiopeia You have the sense of it being a community, not a shipwreck or anything of that sort.
Anyone can give me a cartography check if they wish to try to make sense of the maps... A perception check can also be used, but it will be at disadvantage.

Io says, "Usually people who live in islands have ways of avoiding famine. They are generally good at farming and fishing so if they are starving, then perhaps the issue is something else entirely. Locust swarms, blight, bad weather conditions even bandit raids. I personally doubt fishing or not fishing is the root source of their issue. It is for that reason I think we should be on guard and ready for anything."

Io says, "Though I have my own reasons for it, I too would very much like to stop at the nearer port and drop the devil off there."
Kassiopeia taking a step forward:
„Gnorcys, have you visited this close harbor before and do you know how they treat pirates?“
"sure, I suppose stopping at the closer port wouldn't hurt. One less ship to be destroyed if we encounter a giant sea monster as well" He would say with a smile.
Xerronios nods, joining his companions in agreeing with the closer port.

In the morning Kassiopeia will share the vision she had and asks the captain which islands ar nearby.
"Has anyone heard anything about an island suffering from starvation? ... or a polis?"
Kanlos shrugs, "This is my first time at sea, I've not heard much about anything about any settlements out here. Certainly not any recent news."
Kassiopeia runs around nervously on deck looking for the captain.

Waiting for Gnorcys' response Kassiopeia tries to calm herself down to get the ease of mind necessary for morning prayers (spell preparation).

Kanlos will try perception: 21 (Kanlos is still getting used to being at sea at all)
