Io stands near the front of the group. In case of battle he would like to rush in and slice things with his sword. He does however move back a bit to allow Kass to get to the patient. He also stays a bit away from the curtain to avoid contamination.
Kassiopeia doesn't see anything dangerous as she moves in, and would look upon an athletic man laying on a mat on the floor. He looks exhausted and is clearly not well. With your earlier medicine check you feel fairly certain he does have Sewer Plague. Leaning in you cast your divine healing, and the sound of wind blowing through crops momentarily comes to fill the small chamber, and the man seems to relax a bit, smiling tiredly. He still looks exhausted, as Lesser Restoration cannot remove levels of exhaustion, but he no longer has the look of a man affected by a disease.
Everyone else...
The rats will be handled as a skill challenge. Ritha is using perception, and guidance, to find the rat nest. Everyone else, please give me an action and skill check to go with it. Rith'as guideance is used up already, and not available for others to use during this skill challenge.
Io will wait for the nest to be found so he can destroy it. In the meantime, he will summon the Spiritual Weapon and using that in combination with his cantrips (Toll the Dead), he will try to kill any stray rats he sees.
Xerronios moves quietly around the ship, rapier in one hand, dagger in the other. It had been a long time since his youth, and his days learning to hunt and stalk the small game that all leonine children honed their skills on...but he remembered well enough.
Survival: 25
ooc: Of course you realize that in actual combat I'll be rolling below 10 most of the time LOL
(Yeah but that's not what he's doing though. He's killing any stay rats he finds and is ready to bring the hurt down whenever the nest is discovered. I'm waiting for the DM to kinda judge what skill that is. Maybe Athletics but with WIS instead of STR since he's using spells?)
Skill challenge... (need 5 successes before 3 failures...)
Ritha uses perception to look around, and listen, to find the rat nest... They find one nest. (1 success 0 failures.)
Kanlos searches a bit more hands-on, moving crates and trying to locate the nest manually. He finds one nest. (2 success 0 failures.)
Xerronios stalks the rats, using the skills from his youth to track down the rats... He manages to find one nest. (3 success 0 failures.)
Io tries to track down the nest as well, wanting to bring the power of his god down on them straight away. He doesn't have a good idea of hunting rats aboard a ship though, so manages to knock some crates over in the process, making the work harder. (3 success 1 failures.)
Spyro has Scraps try to smell out the rats. They are able to find one nest. (4 successes 1 failure.)
There is still one more nest out there you need to find. With one failure the DC for the checks goes up a bit, but you need only one more success before you get two failures. Also, i did not mention this earlier, so let it go for the first series of checks, but everyone should be using a different skill for these. Thus, if one person uses perception, everyone else has to pick a different skill.

I know this is just some description describing a failed check but this is super in-character. Like this is 100% something Io would do lol.))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Come on...that Crit on the Survival check should count as 2 successes...or something. Don’t we get any benefit? Yes...I’m totally whining here lol
ic: Xerronios does not react as one of his teammates knocks over some crates, except to stop and listen for the skittering of the diseased rats. Most likely the sudden the commotion would send the remaining scurrying...just the sound he needed to track them.

Praying to Thassa once more for guidance, Ritha waits until she sees the telltale sign of a rat's tail moving in the shadows. As quickly as she can, she tries to shadow it, to follow it back to its nest.
Io casts Guidance on Xerronios, wanting to stay back out of the way before he makes things even more difficult.
Xerronios attempts to track the rats that scurried when the crates fell, but, even with Io's guidance, is unable to tell where they went, as they seemed to scatter in multiple directions, and the ones he followed did not lead to a nest. (4 successes and 2 failures.)
Ritha, deciding sneaking up on the rats is a better option, moves as silent as a cat on the trail of some of the fleeing rodents. They locate another nest, and are able to eliminate the last of the rat's nests.
Kanlos, using his knowledge of rats in general, is able to figure out how to catch the last of the individual rats, who have no nests to return to, and soon the sound of chittering and scurrying is gone from the hold.

I don't know what to roll for this.
Kanlos attempts to reason out locations the rats might nest and switches to his long thin rapier to rouse them out for the others.

Curing the sailor was step one.
Opening the curtain, Kassiopeia asks for help with her next task: “Captain Dog, can you lend me a hand to bring your sailor upstairs?
The chamber needs to be cleaned thoroughly before sleeping in it is safe again.”

(Io could use his athletics skill to shift around crates so we could search every corner?)

OOC that sounds like survival to me.

Survival it is then: 9
Scraps would sniff out the rats 7 plus 1
(OOC: Skill challenge does not include any attacks, so survival works..)

Kassiopeia and the captain help the exhausted man up to the deck. Returning to the chamber she then starts to work on cleansing it.
((OOC: Instead of rolling, can Io cast
Blessand/or take Help Action to give someone else advantage on their check?))EDIT: GUIDANCE I meant to say Guidance.

Kassiopeia to Captain Dog: „Captain, what are you transporting? Is there any food or drinks in those crates?“
Picking up the bedstead and any other pieces of clothes and cloth and dropping them onto a pile for transportation.
„They all need to be washed, or you run the risk of getting somebody else sick.“
