Io suggests, "Comrades , perhaps we should use ranged attacks to weaken our enemies before they can get close. We can stay 120ft away and pelt them with spells and arrows. Then when they reach us, we can finally begin the melee."
Would Windlass have noticed any odd bits of terrain around the undead waiting for them, thanks to the owl? Crevasses, cliffs, spikes, pits, anything?
"I can make it very difficult for them to make their way to us with a gust of wind down the corridor,"she says quietly to the group. She's in the middle of the group, which is hopefully 50-100 feet away. She's fine to use the spell or not, but otherwise readies fire bolts for the first sign of undead.
We'll have you stopping around a curve in the tunnel. There is only 50 feet between that curve and the undead though. Please let me know how you wish to start things out. If anyone has not rolled initiative please do so now as well. The undead are aware of you, but seem content to let you make the first move, or to come to them.
ooc: I'd forgotten Xerronios was planning to cast Heroism. That's what he is going to do.
Seeing his companions are ready, Xerronios begins singing strumming on his lute, "The mighty warriors, facing the odds, felt the touch, the finger of dread, but the gods did see, did know the peril, and gave the steel to to their spines!" As he speaks the last 3 words, the bard quickly touches each of the others, imbuing them with the magical endowment. He then moves to the rear.
ooc: Cast with a level 3 slot. The others are all immune to being frightened and each gains +4 temporary hit points at the start of each of its turns. The spell lasts for 1 minute.
Io You cannot even see your targets currently. They are in darkness and your light spell does not go that far. Both spells miss their target.
Kanlos Steps out and sends an arrow down into the darkness, the arrow hits something, Zombie#2 taking damage. Again you cannot even see the undead, as you have no darkvision. (I rolled your disadvantage roll on your sheet, but it still hit. Zombies ahve a very low ac after all.)
whites Hold up longbows, but do nothing more.
Windlass Need to know what action you take. You are back from the courner, so cannot see the undead. Your darkvision reaches 60 feet, so, if you move to the corner, you can see the first row of zombies, Zo1 - Zo3. The others are in darkness that goes beyond your ability to see with your darkvision.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Windlass holds on the gust of wind given lack of enthusiasm for it, and instead peeks around the corner and readies a fire bolt for the first undead she sees:
ooc: Can he keep his Heroism spell action? Do you want me to report it here?
Please either quote the previous message or post a new action. I thought you were planning on doing a cantrip. If not that, then please just post a new action.

The bard follows the lead of those in front, ready to cast spells, sing songs, or otherwise support his team.

Xerronios initiative 24
Xerronios prepares to mock the undead at the start of trouble.
Tandor the White, Human Life Cleric
Once everyone is ready, Kanlos steps out to fire an arrow into the leading undead, then backs up around the corner as far as possible.
Attack: 24 Damage: 6

Io will cast Chill Touch to send pale ghostly hands at the undead to weaken them before they can reach the rest of the party.
Chill Touch
Hit: 21 (If Dis: 25) Dmg: 9 Necrotic
Reaper: Targetting the other undead as well: Hit: 20 (If Dis: 9) Dmg: 11 Necrotic
Initiative order is:
Io > Kanlos > whites > Windlass > Xerronios > zombies

Is Xerronios near the end of the initiative order because he’s already gone and Windlass is last in the order?
Tandor the White, Human Life Cleric
(No, I used the first initiative you rolled, not this last one. Not sure why you rolled two initiatives, but I used the first one.)
Windlass holds on the gust of wind given lack of enthusiasm for it, and instead peeks around the corner and readies a fire bolt for the first undead she sees:
Attack: 22 Damage: 9
ooc: LOL...I didn't remember rolling the first one LOL.
Tandor the White, Human Life Cleric
Windlass peeks around the corner and then sends a blast of fire down to hit one of the zombies she can see.
Xerronios is up.

Xerronios
Gives his companions some protection.
zombies
The three lead zombies move forward, coming 40 feet closer to the group (using dash actions.)
Io and Kanlos are now up.
Updated Map
Kanlos again steps out, fires an arrow and then retreats as much as possible, trying to draw them into his allies.
Attack: 9 Damage: 6
