Special cargo: SPACE SUPERIORITY / RESOURCE AQUISITION Alliance SpecForce troops: PERSONNEL Imperial Droids: SABOTAGE
The Alliance SpecForce troops are being held in the Detention Block/Prison Containment block of M226. Here what you gotta do. Defeat the two minion sets of Navy Troopers and the IT-O Interrogation Droid that's roaming the Detention Block. The detention block has two abstract levels. The droid, on the ground level, won't likely be a threat, but the Navy Troopers have one minion set that roams the top level from range, and another minion set that roams the bottom level. Keep this in mind.
- First, you gotta bypass the lock panel to get in. It won't be easy. You'll need to hack the controls and create a fake access key code. (Hard - 3 Purple)Computers check.
- Second, go ahead and make (Average - 2 Purple + 1 Setback)Stealth checks to quickly sneak into the cargo block and position yourselves so you're not seen. If anyone fails, you are detected. The guards are actively looking for intruders.
- Third, you're going to have to access the crew manifest with another (Hard - 3 Purple)Computers check. This will tell you where the prisoners are.
- Fourth, the cargo block has places to hide, but it's way more open than the cargo hold, and you're going to have to climb up the prisoner pods and get those Rebels released since the pods are not on the ground. That's a (Hard - 3 Purple)Athletics check.
Complete these four tasks. Failure with any of them means you are spotted and combat will begin.
After Lili manages to open the door to get it, Zalv gives a thankful nod before following the way inside. As they enter however he accidentally bumps into the wall with his side, and the blaster rifle he forgot to turn the safety back on, goes off, firing into the floor.
Earlier: Lili flexes her fingers and gets to work on the door, hacking through firewalls to create that access key. As the door slides open, she bows and grins. "Our palace awaits, ladies and gentlemen."
Now: Lili winces at Zalv manages to make every noise under the sun. "Uh oh...guess we're about to make friends..."
Zalv bangs his weapon against the wall, setting it off. The shot echoes throughout the prison block, loudly, bouncing a few times before impacting against the wall.
"For ****s sake, really?!"Emma groans, throwing her hands up in the air, turning to look at Zalv.
"HALT!"says one of the members of the trooper squad. Converging on your position. "You're not allowed in here! Open fire! Hit the alarm!"
Two squads begin converge on your position. One on the ground, and one from the rafters you can't reach at the moment. They are at both Medium range. (Average - 2 Purple) The Interrogation Droid is making a beeline to a computer panel, and is also at Medium range (Average - 2 Purple) obviously going to alert more troops or Force knows what. You have one round to destroy it before it does so.
Since there is plenty of cover, i'm giving everyone a BLACK boost die for attacks against them.
One of the members of Squad2 hits the lights! It gets super dim in the Prisoner cargo hold, adding 1 BLACK setback die to all attacks made until the Encounter is over.

Amelia was aiming a shot at the droid when the lights went out. PIOOOO....PTANG! The shot went wide, but rebounded and seared the floor in front of the droid causing a rain of sparks and light, casting a spotlight on the target (1 failure, 2 success turned into a boost die to whoever shoots at the darn thing next)

Zalv, getting hit in the should by a stray blaster bolt, winces as he feels it numb his shoulder with burning pain. Gritting his teeth, he peers around his cover to see the sparks covering the droid across the way and makes a choice. Dropping the blaster rifle he had been carrying, he picks up his lightsaber again and rushes towards the droid. Using what training he could recall, and with a little help from the force, he ducked around the incoming blaster fire and lept through the air, igniting his saber in mid-air as he attempted to bring it down on the droid. However, it seemed to see him charging from a long ways away, and swayed to the side away from the console, dodging his blow as his blades slash into the interface instead.
The droid squawks out an expletive, nearly missing death by lightsaber by a critically wounded Zalv.

The droid heads towards the communication panel. Someone's gotta take it out!

Null casually hefts his precious rifle, and in the darkness, uses his scope and innate combat shooting abilities to aim in the darkness at the droid. KAAAAPPPPPPPOOOOOWWWWWWWW! He lets loose a giant blaster shot, blowing the droid to smithereens. "There. That's how it's done."
Heavy blaster shot (2Y+1G+2P+2Black+1Blue) results in 1 Advantage + 2 Success. Damage = 10.
Zalv quickly pulled out his blade from the console as blaster shots rain at the droid, only one hitting it. Gritting his teeth from the aching pain in his arm, he pushed himself to keep moving and struck out at the droid one last time, the close-range letting him catch it as he swung upwards, cutting up the middle.
(4 success 4 advantage = 14 damage with Breach! Boost to next person to attack clones)
Zalv, having cut down the droid, knows he can't stop and rushes to the next trooper. However, they run away from the shadow clad, lightsaber wielder and are able to fumble back from him, but at the cost of being a tad more exposed.
As the troopers run from Zalv, Amelia lets loose a hail of blaster fire, quickly picking off several troopers, and leaving them open for further damage. She feels a twinge in her shoulder as she slightly pulls a muscle from being so tense (3 success= 9 DAMAGE, 1 disadvantage, 1 triumph to upgrade the check for the next PC to attack)
