instead of fighting all of the droids in this area, it's possible to vent all the droids into space from the hangar bay control room. To clear them out, you'll need to make an Average - 2 Purple Stealth check to sneak into the control room and an Average - 2 purple Computer's check to vent the space. Easy peasy.
Null will escort Miss Computer Genius Princess Lili to the outer door of the control room, blasting his way through any encounters they may have on the way....but once they reach the door, it's all on her to sneak in and hack the controls.
