Zalv, taking another light blow to his side, whips around another strike to his body, with an uppercut to the less injured dockworker's jaw, throwing him back into a pile of crates, unconscious.
"First rule of fight club....is....you guys absolutely must have fun when punching!" he calls out as he thumps the 4h member of Gang6 as he laughs with glee:
Brawl roll (1Y+3G+2P): results in 4 Success + 1 Threat => Damage = 4+4 = 8 damage minus 3 soak = 5 total damage = second member of Gang6 is out cold, and Null suffers from 1 strain.
A loud tweet and blaster fire indicates Imperial Navy forces have arrived. The dockworkers reluctantly stop their assault and back away. Before you know it, the only sound you hear among equipment and cargo being moved and worked with is Emma on the floor groaning softly in pain. "I hate humans so much.."
Null casually walks over to Emma, and picks her up off the floor. Whispering to her, "Oh come on....you know you enjoyed that! I know you secretly harbor ill will towards all fleshlings, so here was your chance to have a little fun."
"No, I actually did not enjoy that." Emma groans at Null. "Contrary to popular belief, I don't not like getting my ass kicked in that regard. That was not fun."
Emma is down to 2 Wounds out of 12. She's not looking very good.
"I second that notion."Emma says, as dry as possible. She gets up, ragged, beaten, and clearly bruised.
"Move along now!" one of the Imperial Navy guards order. "Back to work!"
Take this opportunity to heal those who are injured now.
At a bare minimum, you all were able to prove your worth for you to pose as employees in the Dock Ward long enough to seem like convincing employees and know how to load cargo on to a freighter. The problem is, you still have no idea when M226 is to arrive.
You spend the next few days working and learning, and even though you get rude or inappropriate stares, people generally leave you all alone. It took a few days for you all to have a day off when you were all off, but when that day came - it was a perfect time to get another task done.
"In order to gain access to M226, you're going to have to complete three tasks in any order you please. I would use extreme judgement in how you act and behave, as we are, after all, on an Imperial station. If things get too out of hand for you, or if you act in a very obvious manner, your action could attract Imperial attention and have the convoy possibly diverted and your mission will be a failure. That being said, here are the tasks you must complete."
TASK ONE - STATION COMMAND AND CONTROL The computer systems of Martle Station's command and control center contain information regarding incoming shipments and convoys. Gaining access to the command center, however, is another matter entirely. Head to Command and Control and perform the following tasks:
1. First, you'll need to locate the Command and Control center aboard the station. (Easy - 1 Purple) Streetwise check. 2. Next, you'll need to get in through a side entrance. There's side entrances that can be accessed. (Hard - 3 Purple) Skullduggery check. 3. Once inside, find a computer and get those files. (Hard - 3 Purple) Computers check.
Success in all three steps will complete the task. Threat or Despair generated in any step will have consequences.
TASK TWO - THE IMPERIAL GOVERNOR Drunk, bored, and surprisingly attractive for an older woman, Imperial Governor Varla Prule is as corrupt as they come. Most of her time is spent drinking in the most expensive bar aboard the station, Governor Prule can provide docking schedules, work rosters, and other relatively mundane reports that shed additional light on the Perlemian Haul's schedule in the Remduba system. Known to prefer younger, attractive men, she loves bribes, and this task will be a contest of Charm, Deception, or Negotiation. Whoever is chosen to speak, you will make three rolls and try to score as many successes you can by the end of three rounds in an attempt to bring her asking price for the information as low as possible. Make sure you all dress the part. They don't let scum into this place.
TASK THREE - FRIENDS IN LOW PLACES - COMPLETE In order to get on board M226, you'll need to act like and know how to cargo haul. There's no better way than to get a job aboard the station and learn how it's done. Then, armed with this knowledge, you'll know how to get on board. You'll have to get a job as a civilian shiphand or dockworker. However, being employed on Martle Station itself is dangerous. The dockworkers are affiliated with specific workgangs that bid for contracts and occasionally fight among themselves in order to secure paying work in the stations cargo bays. If you can survive long enough for the convoy to arrive in the Remduba system, you should have little trouble gaining access to M226.
In some down time after work, over drinks of blue milk of course, Null offhandedly mentions "Sooooooo, since you wimps don't like a good scrape, is it time to pay a visit with the drunken Imp Gov'nor?"
"No, it's time to fix me and any others who have taken damage."Emma says. "I'll start with Lili. Come here."
Those that have Medicine and Mechanics, like Lili and Emma, can make some rolls and get people healed who got hurt. This is a good time to practice.
Current wounds equal half or less of wound threshold is (Easy - 1 Purple) Current wounds equal more than half of wound threshold (Average - 2 Purple) Current wounds exceed wound threshold (Hard - 3 Purple)
"Hold still."she told Lili, getting out her kit. She looked at the wounds, and administered care, but had no result. "I said hold still!"she said, frustrated.
She then went over to Amelia, grumbling something under her breath about holding still with not being with the right tools, and took a look at her. She healed 3 wounds for Amelia.

Before you head into the bar - which can pass as a nightclub - the only one aboard the station, you gotta go get some nice clothes. They're not gonna let you in looking like dockworkers. Time for another Streetwise check! It's Easy - 1 Purple.
Null stops by the local Big n’ Tall shop, and quickly comes out wearing a rather dashing cape and low cut smock that highlights lumps in all the right places.
Streetwise (2G+1P): Results in 3 Success + 1 Threat
Lili rubs her hands together. "Right then, let's find some clothes!" She marches off towards the nice part of town.
Lili proceeds to make sure everyone gets outfits that fit their cover, from getting Null's armor under that new cloak polished to finding Zalv a tux at Lazer Line Threads. She finishes with getting her and Amelia dresses.
Emma had no fashion sense what so ever, she was a droid, after all, so just picked out a dress she thought looked nice, tried it on, and it fit. Tightly.
Zalv just stands their awkwardly as Lili picks out clothes for him to try on, having zero fashion sense with these type of matters. He's thankful that she knows what she's doing...or at least he assumes she does.
Amelia has a great time helping Lilli play dress-up with the rest of the crew, and is noticeably beaming at the diversion of shopping.
With Zalv looking slightly uncomfortable in his tux, Amelia walks over and helps adjust his tie, “Relax, Z. You look, arguably fantastic, even to me.” She gives a wink, “And that’s no mean feat.” Her laughter seems to ring out warmly, like bells during a warm sunrise.
As the ladies try on dresses, she comes out in a powerful, almost military like dress in black and maroon with silver accents, she flexes and poses for the mirror, “heck yeah, this looks great, lill—oh..” she stops dead in her tracks as Lilli walks out in her dress. A little blush and a wide smile, she seems to stumble over her words, “That, uh, looks great, Lilli.”
