The companions move as carefully as they can through the camp, keeping to the shadows......Whilst the two Orang Bunian and Mal are able to make their way with little trouble, Krikoris and Uce have a little more trouble.
Uce stumbles in the dark and trips over a guy-rope from the tents knocking down a crate of digging tools..
A voice calls out from a nearby tent, " Whose that?"
Krikoris attempts to imitate the sound of those lizard things we'd encountered outside the temple.
Performance: 11
Krikoris being quite a bit smaller than the monitors encountered in the ruins pulls off a fair impersonation of a much smaller lizard, that coupled with Khutuluns rather strangled cat impression convinces the man that he has heard an encounter between two small urban predators and he promptly goes back to sleep.
The companions continue on to the dig site, noting a tent nearby in which men are carousing and drinking, likely the guards that are supposed to be guarding the hole they find themselves at looking down in the dim torchlight ( there appear to be torches below as well) they appear to be above a three-way junction of corridors. ( West, North and East).
Mal motions for the group to hold up for a moment. Can he hear anything from up ahead?
Perception: 7
(coast is clear! Let's loot the joint!)
Hearing nothing from ahead Mal moved up to the entry and peered in, an altar dominates the far wall of this vast chamber it is adorned with tattered scraps of rotting cloth and a bowl of worked gold. Two archways led left and right towards the rear and a door was set into the back-right corner.
Ragged drapes hung on the walls and two brass braziers were burning fitfully giving some light.
Krikoris would glance at the others to see if they follow as he begins creeping toward the earthworks.
Stealth: 7
Mal is advancing as well, as quietly as he can.
Stealth: 13
Uce will try and follow as well while trying to be stealthy.

Mal will freeze in place, but slowly draws his shortsword and dagger.
Uce will freeze as well.

"Let's go west first, po, unless you think we should try a different way first?" Mal whispers to Krikoris.
Krikoris shrugs, "This is your land, I'll follow your lead."
Mal drops down into the corridors, glancing east he sees the tunnel is completely collapsed and so heads west motioning for the others to follow.
After some 30m or so it seems to open up into a large room which has a number of flickering torches within.......
Mal motions for the group to hold up for a moment. Can he hear anything from up ahead?
