There are brief snatches of conversation, though too muffled to make out there are at least two different voices.

"I think someone is searching the room... a grand entrance is often best. Are we ready?"

Giving everyone a moment to ready themselves, Khutulun test then door and if able to open it, bursts through.

As the door bursts open the companions can see inside the room, opulent cloth hangings drape in dyed streamers from his rotting bed, and intricate wooden carvings of gods and demons adorn the panelled walls.

More pressing are the four armoured Lokanan men in the uniforms of the mercenaries  that are tossing the room.   As Khutulun appears in the doorway the oldest man, in an officers uniform glances out the door and to the left with a concerned expression then grins and says, " Kill the trespassers!"

Mal initiative: 11

Mal enters right behind the surprised Khutulun, and hearing the voices and the command, he ducks low and to the right, and looses an arrow toward the captain, trying to get a better angle on the attack.

The Captain sent three daggers spinning at Khutulun as his 2IC executed a vigorous silat djuru and sent a wave of force towards those at the door.

Mals arrow catches the Captain in the shoulder and he fixes the youngster with a hateful expression.

The two other soldiers didn't wait to see the effect of their Sergeants technique and charged towards Malambing in defense of their captain, slashing at him with their blades.

Two of the daggers impact Khutulun in this chest as she tries to real backward away from the blast.

As the mercs charge Mal, he'll drop his shortbow and draw his shortsword and dagger to try and fend off the attacks. 

Krikoris con save: 18

Krikoris then follows Mal's arrow with with three arrows of flame darting into the captain.

Uce is going to move to within 10 feet of Merc A and use a bonus action to use Fighting Spirit.

After being impacted by the daggers, Khutulun's body is thrown backward from the blast and lands crumpled on the floor.

Uce moves up sweeping his weapon across twice in quick succesion, one of the men attacking Mal ducks back but did not expect the speed with which Uce brings the blade back and it digs into his chest stumbling him and leaving him gasping.  Khutulun withstands the daggers but the wave of force knocks her back through the door, out of the line of fire but not moving.  

Krikoris sends three shafts of flame at the Captain but the man simply pats the flames out and laughs, seemingly on slightly singed.  Cinta steps up next to Uce and runs through the man that he had injured, dropping him bloody to the floor.

Seeing one of his men fall the Captain sends another three blades winging through the air towards Uce.

Noting another spellcaster the Sergeant moves up on Krikoris and tries to disembowel him with his kris.

The remaining soldier, aghast at his friends death slashes at Cinta seeing her as the biggest threat.

Mal redoubles his efforts seeing Khutulun fall, and he attacks the closest Merc with his shortsword and dagger.
