Cinta looks at her halberd, it had of course seen some usage in the training grounds. Her eyes flick their focus to each person before seeing Jupp resting their hand on the weapon.

She smiles. No one here knows who she is nor does it look like they were searching for her. She eyes up Khutulun, waiting for the response as she leans back slightly into the shade and moves a strand of hair off her face.

"Relax Denawa, I am not here with malice intent. Simply curious about seeing others of my kind this far out and besides, I didn't catch your names?" Her voice sharp but with a musical-like quality to it. "Battle-worn? I've fought my share of battles, is that weapon of yours for show?"

Khutulun looks Cinta over before nodding.

"It is unusual but not unheard off. Our people do exist after all, we are not flighty forest spirits like we are often referred to as..."

"Not that I have see another Orang Bunian like yourself."

"I am known as Khutulun."

Malambing:

"Hold on there, cousin - we need a word." Mal will shift around, not putting hands on the woman, but getting in her way and raising his voice so the rest of the group notices.

 Sila freezes in place from where she was trying to sneak away, " What about?"

Uce's eyes perk up and notices the woman, but doesn't say anything. 

"That is good," replies Cinta as she quickly tries to recognise Khutulun's name to which she doesn't. "The name's Yuliani and probably could do with the work Denawa," she smirks as she watches the beggar trying to sneak away.

"My friend Khutulun here has a few things to say, let's have a listen, she's a very important person, na?" Mal will continue to corral the beggar woman, though he feels a little bad about it since she's crying.

Krikoris gives up on trying to figure out what these strange island people are talking about and goes back to pretending.

Deception: 13

Sila looks terrified by the enormous person speaking with her, " A terrible loss. But he was a great man.....what would one such as me know?  A cursed, lowly wretch like me..."

" But I know some folks, yes. For some ingots I'll tell you a little....if you can fix my eyes I'll tell you a lot!"

Uce turns to everyone. "Fix their eyes? That's out of my realm, ya." 

Cinta scratches the remains of her shoulder, the heat and her prosthetic always made it sore over a few hours.

"Witches curses... heavy stuff, po - but we can look into it for you. For now, take this and tell us what you can." Mal pulls out a gold coin and presses it gently into the beggar's hands.

"No offence but I'd rather take my chances in the desert without water than deal with Witches," Cinta replies as she still scratches the sore shoulder.

"I'll deal with Witches if it means helping someone," Uce adds. 

Krikoris leans over to Uce, "How are witches different from any other magic user? I don't know about here, but back home, magic is fairly common."

Persuasion if needed 10

"Sila, you tell us what we need to know. My friends here have paid you, more than you would see all year. Don't make them angry and me look like a fool. I told them you would help and you know that lifting your curse is a task beyond our measure."
