Rushdi dusts himself off. "Well, I'm ready to be off, but I have to ask: you haven't seen Yano here, have you? He is a fellow Shrine of the Maw priest, and he disappeared. He was suspicious of these mercs hired by our high priest, I thought maybe he came down here."

"What did he look like? I remember meeting a younger priest outside who wanted us to investigate, but I'm not good with names."

"You are right Malambing. Yano was the name of the young priest who showed us a way down into these catacombs, a way around the mercenaries so we could investigate as he was concerned about what was happening down here."

Seeing that he is not going to get time to finish with his ritual, Gajesh stands and collects his material before stepping up to Rushdi. The lizardfolk eyes the others warily, obviously going along with this only due to Rushdi no longer seeming aggressive.

Rushdi pats Gajesh's shoulder. "It'll be alright, try not to worry, We're safe. I hope."

(Rushdi is keeping his thoughts on Yano to himself for now, so I think we're good to go)

There is an odd smell coming from the south passageway.

Krikoris shrugs, "Which way leads deeper in?"

Mal says "Listen - do you smell that?" He'll sniff the air and start heading south.

Mal lead the way south with his hooded lantern carefully raised finding two doors; one part way along on the right and the other at the termination of the passageway on the left.

Both doors are swollen with damp, the smell is coming from the right most one.

Rushdi looks at the door on the right to see if there's anything different that might indicate what the smell is

There is no physical diffence in the door itself, though there is a slight dusting of brownish residue around the frame and under the door on the earthern floor.....it smells of old tannin.

Gajesh calls upon his magic to form a small flame in the palm of his hand to provide some light as he looks around the room slowly, moving towards the door where the others have gathered.

"It's not me," Uce says, following everyone. 

"I am sure we all know it is something foul... are we going to open it up then? Mal, did you want to check it for traps?"
