Jinsashi makes a vague gesture at the rest of the group while addressing the half-elf. "After you left my company, I made the acquaintances of these individuals. It appears you must have sent out multiple letters as they are also answering your call. By divine blessing, we have all arrived at the same time." The dragonborn's eyes flit to the other individual, to the symbol of Helm, and back to his eyes. He reaches into his own shirt collar and brings out his symbol of Bahamut. "Greetings in the name of the platinum dragon."
The goliath notices the attempt to cast a spell on her and shrugs it off. Observing the holy symbol being held out towards them but not recognizing it she proclaims to the group; "Of course it would seem they need to recruit many of us. Their god is clearly not strong enough to help them free themselves if they cannot even affect us."

The cleric looks offended by the words of the goliath but says nothing as he nods to Jinashi, stepping back behind the half elf.
"That is correct. I am Guillim Onc the current head of House Once. My family is one of the few remaining noble houses of the former county that is now named after the dragon Kalirathza. I sent out the calls for help in order to deal with the wyrm."
"I'm happy to help out. Who do we kill first? Trying to get any information out of the people out there is harder than getting eggs from a rooster. Is there going to be monetary compensation? I'm not too interested in that but some of those guys are", Kiyo thumbs in the direction of her companions.

The half elf and the priests share a look, before the noble steps forward and produces a coin pouch for each member of the group that is currently in the room.
"To begin with there is a payment of 100 gold right now for each of you. And upon completion of the next request I have for you will be another 50 gold. If by the will of the gods you defeat the dragon then we are willing to give each of you a share of its collected horde. We would figure by this time it possibly has upwards of hundreds of thousands in gold and other various things It has collected from taxes over the last 200 years. That does not include whatever other treasures it may have acquired over the years. So perhaps there is more for you all to acquire.for now to prove that you are capable warriors there has been a problem with goblins in the area as I am sure you heard from the bartender. This is including the ones that have both robbed the tax collectors and have been praying on merchants who have been coming into town."
Perrin chuckles, "Well, I'm all for relieving the wealthy of their coin, like the folk heroes of old. And uh... I'm sure that no one will need held hands, my new friends. Well, not unless you want to hold hands, that is," he laughs. "So what's this first request you have for us?"
Nirrea chuckles at Perrin's question. "Are you not listening my new friend? It will surely be to rid the countryside of these pesky goblins. Fear not good fellows," the bard continues after turning back to the half-elf and cleric "We shall rid your lands of the green nuisance and give the folks downstairs something to sing about over their cups."

Jinsashi unabashedly accepts his pouch of gold. He steps over to a side table as the group continues to talk. Drawing the coins out of the pouch, he separates them into two piles. Twenty-five go in his purse while the other half go into a silver and black alms box. After putting both containers away, he turns back to the duo. "Undoing the ancient dragon's tyrannical reign will take some time and planning. In the meantime, perhaps we can find out some helpful information from these thieving goblins. What can you tell us about them? Where have the attacks taken place? What time of day? Are only tax collectors and merchants being targeted? What can you tell us about these tax collectors and merchants that might help us mimic them in order to become targets? You'll have to forgive my ignorance, but as I said, this is my first time in Kalirathza, so I am a bit ignorant about local customs." He makes a clicking sound with his tongue. "And please excuse my rudeness," he says to the cleric, "but I am Jinsashi Nemmonis, reborn cleric of Bahamut, from Azrsurinyaneh in the Unbound Collective."
Perrin sulks a little, "Goblins are hardly a hero's fair," he mutters to himself. "Well, I suppose we could start where the goblins attacked the tax cart? If someone is good at tracking, then that might be an option? But if you wish to draw them to us..." he shrugs and tilts his head.
"The last attack happened at night and it was more robbery then attack. A goblin in service to clan Uthrak helped others of his kind make off with upwards of three hundred gold. Goblins have been a problem in the area for as long as any can remember but they usually don't attack large groups. It is normally only when they outnumber their target greatly." Guillim explains as he moves to open up a map case attached to a bag.
"The attack happened about ten or so miles out of town in a clearing that is a usual camp spot for merchants and the like. That is about halfway between Taldareth and a small village that is under control of clan Mijiri. As the bartender said I to think that this attack was done on behest of the Mijiri clan in order to undermine Clan Uthrak. What I would like is for you to find these goblins and find out what they know. Taking care of them is of course part of this as well."
"Interesting," Perrin strokes his chin, "Well, at least it's a start. I'm of the mind to track them down rather than make ourselves bait. The problem with making oneself the bait is that at some point, the bait must be bitten... and I'm not entirely comfortable with offering up to be nibbled on." He shuffles uncomfortably at the thought of being bait.
Jinsashi appears to consider Perrin's words, then nods. "That sounds wise. Let us visit this place and see if we can discover any clues which might help us track the goblins, then."
"Agreed. Should we begin on the morrow? I'm sure our journey will take some time and I rather not arrive in the night." Dusk suggests as she looks to the new companions.
