(He did but he stopped talking as he is getting nervous with comments made.)
"The kobolds are going to go after the goblins and then they'll question em to find out why they did it. Like I said if the Mijiri did it then they'll go to their bosses and make the Uthraks out to be fools. If ye are interested in learnin more the Uthraks clan is probably hiring folks to help hunt the goblins. Now if he are done keep such thoughts about messin with things to yerselves." The dwarf warns as he hands off a tankard to a barmaid.
The letter is not long and simply says. 'If you are answering the call to help this land then meet me in the locked room at the end of the upper level."
"Excuse me," Dusk excuses herself from the bar, distancing herself from Perrin, preferring to instead to be more discreet than company with the halfling affords. She moves to take seat near Jinsashi and catches the attention of one of the servers, "Another glass of spiced wine please," she then lowers her voice and whispers as discreetly as possible, "There was word that some are looking for some outside help. Do you know anything about it?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Dusk moves toward his table, Jinsashi quickly folds the letter, keeping his manner casual. He smiles at her as she sits, but when she whispers to him, he is taken aback. He can't help but look around the room quickly to see if anyone is looking at them, then smiles at her again, trying to remain calm. "I'm sorry? What kind of help do you mean?"
Insight check: 5 (Jinsashi isn't sure if this is a trap.)
The young dwarf that Dusk whispers to pauses mid step as she is asked the question. "Sorry but the only outside help I know of his that some of the merchants may be hirin guards when they leave to head for the Collective city states."
Dusk lets out an audible sigh as she allows the server to continue on her rounds. There seemed to be no leads and perhaps there was no substance to the rumours of people wanting help to over throw the kobolds and the dragon.

Perrin chuckles, "So, rumours were true..." He leans back on his stool, "You lot are a little nervous. Not to worry, I'll not draw unwanted attention here, barkeep." He hops down from his stool, checks his flute is at his side, then sits back in a corner to watch the room (for anyone looking nervous or suspicious of the conversations happening around the room, Perception: 12).
Edit: Perrin would move near Dusk for his perch. Dusk let out a large sigh, so that would draw his attention and he'd be looking to see what's going on.
(If Dusk doesn't want to be heard then she would need to roll a stealth check to attempt to be quiet so that no one can hear. Same with the letter if Jinashi wants to hide it then roll a sleight of hand check to see if you get it put away without anyone seeing.)
Jinashi is able to overhear a bit of it and gets the basic idea of what Dusk asked the barmaid. Upon answering the woman mov s to continue on with her work, giving them the same nervous look the bartender is giving those who have spoken to him. As he gives the drink to skald he makes sure to quickly move along.
Jinashi: With the brief glance at the note you notice that the hand writing is similar to the call for help. The writing while similar is clearly rushed.
OOC: While he did fold the note to keep anyone from reading it, Jinsashi did not try to hide the note. He wants his privacy, but he doesn't want to invite too much curiosity.
After Dusk sighs, the silver dragonborn cuts his eyes at the female. (Do you look more like a human, an elf, a ... ? What do shifters look like when they're not shifted?) He swallows his mouthful of food and runs the back of his scaled hand across his lips. "You seem a little weary," he says directly. "Is your burden a physical, emotion or spiritual one?"
Perrin continues to listen in on Dusk and Jinsashi, though he's not overly subtle about it. Though as one of the barmaids walks by he gathers her attention a moment for a couple of questions that spring to mind. "Excuse me, lovely, you wouldn't happen to know much about this Buruk that your boss was talking about before, do you? And if you could perhaps point me towards someone of either of the Uthrak or Majiri clans, I'd be ever so thankful. I've a silver for your knowledge. I'd ask your boss, but he may have gotten upset at my little joke before and not wish to talk to me for a bit." Perrin's hand moves and a silver flashes between his fingers and disappears as he smiles at the barmaid, waiting for her reply.
Dusk looks over at the dragonborn, surprised at being addressed. She thinks for a moment and responds, "Though I've been on the road long, I suppose it is a spiritual one more so than physical. I have been tasked with protecting those that can't protect themselves, to aid those that need it. Selune has led me here, but all there is seem to be dead ends."
Dusk looks like this.

"Buruk is probably at the stable where he works. If he isn't there then he would either be at his house past the blacksmith or he'd be here drinking with some of the other stable workers." The barmaid tells him as she holds her hand out for the coin. "Now of you're looking for one of the Uthrak clan that you should find Feels Uthrak at the tax building. He is the one in charge of collecting the taxes before sending them off. The Mijiri on the other hand only come in when they pass through with their own collected taxes."
Hush smiles warmly at the barmaid and passes her the silver piece. "Why thank you, lovely. And if ever you hear any other tasty morsels of rumour and gossip, feel free to drop on by and share them. I'm happy to give you something for your troubles," he winks at her and lounges back to peruse the room again.
"A follower of Moonmaiden, are you?" Jinsashi grins. "And here I was going to extend to you the virtues of Bahamut." He reaches into the neck of his robes and draws out an amulet with the platinum dragon embossed upon it. He lets the amulet drop against his chest and cocks an eye as he clearly scrutinizes Dusk. "Pardon my continued curiosity, but is your noble quest a general one or one of specificity? Are you looking for anyone who might need protection, or someone in particular?"
"I aid any in need of it!" Nirrea proclaims to Jinashi, despite the fact he wasn't speaking to her. "I the Farwanderer, wander near and far in search of those in need, that I might find or make great stories to tell future generations of great deeds performed by daring heroes."

Gotcha! Did Jinsashi overhear? If you roll a stealth check vs. my passive perception (DC 13), the DM might rule that I overheard.
(OOC: I'm fine with you overhearing :D. I moved there to hope bring everyone together.)

The goliath skald waves down the barkeep in an attempt to grab an ale.
(Since we all moved over close enough to overhear each other might I be close enough to attempt to see Jinashi try to hide the letter?)
