From behind Sergei, a young aarakocra peeks out his head, curious but still cautious. He is rather small for his kind, with spotted reddish brown, kestrel-like plumage, huge, brilliant yellow eyes, curved beak and sharp black talons. He is wearing a black cloak with silvery runes, an arcane crystal pendant and an old, tattered backpack.
"We are werewolf hunters!" He chirps, answering to the cleric. "We came here looking for a pack of werewolves but... We got trapped on this haunted house, and we have yet to find any. My name is Alev. Who are you? Who is she? Do you remember how you got in here?"

Well, My name is Tomm, i dont know her, and i was escaping the goons barovias lord and ended up here. And now that i think about it i might have been hunted by a werewolf just before i was put to sleep here.
Tomm spits his words out takes a deep breath after so that he does not suffocate. He turns his head to the "unknown snake-person" and says, now a bit more relaxed: We both got here coincidentally, i think. Probably was also hunted by the werewolfs or whatever those things in the fog were.
Even with the full faced helmet in place, the stooped form and green-grey-ish skin visible between natural gaps in cloth and armor gave away the fact that Rudick was of orcish blood. An orc bearing a robust black beard that flowed out the bottom of his helmet, and whose shield's emblem resembled that of a Cog. Beyond this, he looked little different than heavily armored, armed, and well muscled mercenary. Though the half-plate and any complimentary pauldrons and bracers look snug on the frame and in need of refitting.
He watched on mutely upon realizing none of his more heavy handed tactics for the chains would be of need; only really cocking his head slightly to the side at the mention of 'Dreamcatchers'. Apart from that, he waited until there was a natural break in the conversation to utter the name, "Rudick", before then looking towards the unknown woman next, now more curious than ever given Tomm's lack of vouching for her.

"Thank you for your aid." The woman says with a nod to the group of you. "I am Leann, paladin of Torm." She lifts her shield a bit to show the symbol carved there. She has long blond hair, tied back in a braid down her back, and wears chain mail. She looks like a beautiful human woman. A long sword and javelin are close at hand, with a pack next to her. "As to how I got here..." She fingers a black crystal amulet around her neck, then releases it. "That I am not completely sure of myself. A strange mist surrounded me, then I found myself in a strange land, chased by who knows what. I took refuge in this house, and then found myself hunted again."
Looking up at Leann’s comment, Skip, eyebrow raised, chimes in with “Strange mist eh? Sounds like we’re all in the same spot of bother. Why’nt you both come with us? Extra hands in this house of horrors would be welcome”
The wall is comprised of packed earth with wooden braces. You see the chains begin to recoil slowly back into the wall.
You all can see three exits from this room. There is the one you came through, one to the left side of the room that turns a corner before showing a small flight of stairs leading downward, and the is one opposite the way you came that turns a corner before coming to an intersection.
The chains receding back into the wall hardly surprises Sergei at this point. He figures the house could send the chains back out and grab them all, but doesn’t. This speaks to some other sinister purpose the house has in store for them. He repeats his admonition to the two new additions to his group:
”Don’t touch anything that looks dark or suspicious. I already made that mistake once and we were lucky. I don’t know how much more luck we can expect.”
While waiting for others to decide which way to go next, Sergei will try to find signs of Lucan’s passing here. Any indication that he may have gone this way?
"I'd say we touched something we shouldn't have already..." Leann says with a glance to where the chains disappeared. "I don't know where you guys have been so far, but, normally, evil likes to be down for some reason..." She nods to where the tunnel heads to stairs down. "If one way is as good as another, I'd say let's try the stairs..."
"Hmph. A follower of Torm and a mind reader." Rudick said with some mirth behind his tone, as he'd been looking in the same direction. "Right then. We won't find the heart of this place standing around in one place. Let's be on with it. Avoid wandering off if you can, or lagging behind. One has already done so.. or the house has seen to them." With that foreboding note spoken, the Orc cracks his neck, and makes for the downward stairs with warhammer back in hand.

The party moves down the the short flight of stairs and comes to a small landing. To your left, another stairway of packed earth descends even deeper before turning another corner. Straight ahead of you, the hallway opens up to a large chamber. Here, you can faintly hear whispers. They are stronger in the passage to your left. You can't quite make out what they are saying.
Everyone but Alev notices that a patch floor to your left has no signs of foot traffic. It looks like this 5 foot patch of earth is avoided for some reason.
"I'd watch out there." Leann says, gesturing to the clear area. "Seems like people don't walk there, and there is usually a good reason for that..." She steers clear of it herself as she moves towards the descending stairs. "Down again?" She asks the others.

Alev follows closely behind Rudick. "If whatever is controlling the house is down there, I'm gonna kill it." He murmurs.
