Nibor catches up with the group, shaken by the battle more than he has previously. Following in step by Yara he reaches to touch her arm, he hesitates, wary of her, and that weapon...
No, he thinks, she has done nothing but try to help us, help him. He's moved her first thoughts of clarity were of him, he lightly touches her arm.
Yara, thank you for your help, I was not in a good place and hearing you coming really kept me in the fight. Well, for all the good I did. Anyway, I have to say I'm sorry, sorry for tricking you to releasing that weapon, I hope you can forgive me
Hoping he wasn't too verbose, he coughs.
Thank you Yara, I hope you're ok. Thank you my friend
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aura, oh Aura my dear your arm. Let me try help, if i may?
If she allows he takes her arm gingerly and attempts to ease the pain somewhat

I'm close to tapped out Aura, I'm sorry I can do no more. Will you be alright to carry on?
Realising in these moments he missed Rollo's invitation to assist his investigation he ponders running after him but doesn't want to leave Aura as she is. He thinks to himself "he's a handy fellow, I'm sure he'll be ok this time"
Nibor tends to Aura's arm. He rubs a salve into her upper arm to relax the muscle and then removes her shabby attempt at binding her wrist, before reapplying it more effectively.
Her wrist will heal faster and she should retain full mobility, but it will still take time and proper rest.
Thank you Nibor, it is somewhat more bearable now. I fear the strain would have started to show on my brow before long had you not done this.
Rollo clears the room before Coal advances to the magical thrum he had sensed. The room is empty of any life, barring some small crabs scuttling around the room.
Fine wooden furniture, tapestries of green and gold, and a bearskin carpet decorate this richly appointed room — but the furniture has been scratched up, the tapestries badly torn, and the carpet rent with foot-long holes. To the northwest, a tattered green curtain screens off a large alcove. Two large heaps of dank pelts lie in the southern part of the chamber. A wet reek like rotten seaweed hangs in the air.
The four chairs appear to be expensive but are heavy enough to make transport awkward.
A wooden chest in the northwest alcove contains 190 gp, 8 pp, a potion of hill giant strength, and a potion of fire resistance. Near the bedding is a longsword made of dragon bone and with a dragon-leather grip. It has rubies in its pommel and hilt. The sword is warm and its rubies are glowing.
Rollo looks at the sword, from a distance, thinking wouldn’t it be great to wield such a weapon…. Then the image of a halfling wielding a lone sword almost twice his height comes to mind the though quickly disappears.
puffing on his pipe, he turns to Coal “what do you make of this magic then? Is it the sword?”
Yes the longsword appears to be giving off an aura of magical enhancement. Not that i can tell from here what it is. Give me ten minutes to cast an identification ritual on it, I wouldn't want another of our party to end up with a cursed weapon. Coal gingerly lifts the sword from where it is laying and begins casting the ritual for Identify
Holding the sword aloft Coal declares that it is safe to use and comments on the special properties. Does he notice any heat coming from the weapon while holding it?
Coal can feel a gentle heat and notes that the rubies are indeed glowing slightly. He thinks it highly likely that both effects would intensify the closer one were to get to a dragon
So it is a touch warm, which means there is a dragon somewhere but not in the immediate vicinity..... something to think on. Who would like a magical longsword? Carlar? Aura? It's not really my style and I don't think Yara can use another weapon at the moment due to the curse she is currently afflicted with...
Coal moves towards the aura

Rollo notices Coal moving off and follows, curious…

It is a +1 dragonbone longsword that grows warm and the rubies glow slightly when the sword is within 120 feet of a dragon.
Holding the sword aloft Coal declares that it is safe to use and comments on the special properties. Does he notice any heat coming from the weapon while holding it?

Great, dragons! I have a bad feeling about this…. Mutters Rollo, pipe still alight
I'll take it! Nice.
Carlar's eyes light up at the sight of the sword. Almost like the mention of dragons hasn't even registered in her mind
