Yea, it would, but you haven't crossed the bridges yet to new areas. Basically, you've explored about half of this whole complex so far. Crossing the bridges would lead to the other half.
The lock can be picked, or bashed open if enough damage is done too it. Or you can just unlock it. =P
Anyone object to the secret door we haven't gone through yet? I believe it was the left one in the storeroom. Unless someone wants to smash open the locked door.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Stop breaking things. Something might hear you" Coryn comments, walking up to the locked door. He pockets his arcane orb, pulling a small pair of thieves tools out from his coat. He kneels in front of the lock, attempting to quietly open the door.

This room is an armory. It contains lots of red cloaks and sashes, red bandit masks, and 6 of each: short swords, long swords, daggers, hammers, crossbows with bolts, short and long bows with arrows, one handed axes, and a number of other things you guys probably don't need.
Coryn, a mental presence caresses the edges of your sanity. A hunger, ravenous, yearning. You stay still for a moment, "listening" to it. Your heartbeat quickens a bit, as you sense..emotions, feelings. No words.
As Coryn pushes the now unlocked door open, he shakes his head from side to side. He attempts to stand, but has to take a deep breath before doing so.
'There's already two of us in there, I don't need a third.' The Half-Elf thinks, not sure if whatever started poking around in his mind could hear his thoughts. He walks into the room, a sigh escaping his lips as he does so.
"We should grab a few of these outfits. Never know when a good disguise will save you." He comments, grabbing a cloak, sash, and mask. He put them on over his clothes, waiting for the others.
The walls of this bedchamber are covered with drapes of scarlet cloth. The furnishings include a small writing desk with matching chair, a comfortable-looking bed, and a wooden chest at the foot of the bed.
Sitting at the desk is a short, dark-bearded human male in robes, studying a tome. He wears a princely mantle of ermine. A beautiful glass staff leans against his chair, within his easy reach.
OOC: I really need to refresh right before posting. Hope my decision doesn't kill us :)
Cedrik sends Ruffles to quickly grab the staff and bring it back before the man can. Whether or not he gets it, he speaks to the man. "Judging by the staff here, you must be the one known as Glasstaff. The staff here sure is beautiful. Now I'm a wizard and love knowledge. I've heard some bad things about you and want to give you a chance to explain yourself before any rash decisions are made. I hope we can come to a mutual understanding."

Cedrik will check the guards for a key to the door. He doesn't really feel like smashing things. "Kyle, do you think your key would work?"
Investigation: 12
Worth a shot.
Kyle attempts to use the keys on the door. If it opens he goes in first, ready to fight.
Didn't we find a second hidden door earlier? That we didn't go through?
One more thing how much XP should i have now?
I'm not sure. Everyone should have enough experience that everyone is level 2 and a half.
You did find a second secret door, it's in the room BEFORE the hallway and the locked door.
There are no more keys on the Redbrands, and the key you guys have doesn't work.
So, Crypt ---> Hallway with secret door ---> Storeroom with another secret door you haven't been through yet OR back to the cavern with the crevasse.
Hardi you have the Maul.
Kyle moves out the way of the door

I think there's gonna be a good door smashin' ole time here in a moment.
I knew Clerics were good for something.

My thoughts exactly.
Kyle then puts on a costume.
Is there a halfling or gnome sized cloak?
After grabbing an outfit and a dagger, Cedrik whispers to Coryn, "Are you okay? You looked a bit rattled after unlocking that door."
There sure is!
Assuming everyone now looks like a Redbrand, the only place to go is to back track to the cavern and explore the other half.
let us see where the other secret passage leads to.
Hardi is thoroughly Redbranded (ha!) and leads the way back out to the secret door intersection. "To the left secret door the, eh?"
GLASSTAFF'S QUARTERS

Assuming that Hardi pointed the door out, Cedrik will open the unexplored secret door.
You see what I wrote above. He hasn't noticed you guys yet.
Better act fast.
OOC: Urge to run in and smash, rising!
