Northlands Campaign

Cade and Kina rush the gnoll in front, stopping him dead (literally) in his tracks.

Wil lets fly a flight of arrows, one goes wide, striking the wall, the second caught on the largest gnoll's shield.

Cade:  21

Bart uses his Kris on the nearest to him. "I'm starting to enjoy fighting with you fine people."

Attack:  8 Damage:  5

OOC: Ohh boy me and Kina are soul mates based purely on our rolls!

Bart's strike is easily dodged.

Barnabus takes aim at the same gnoll as Wil and puts Fife to work.

Attack: 24

Damage: 10

Fife connects with a solid swipe across its midsection, drawing a good amount of blood, but not slowing its down at all.

Rachel, saving her spells for healing if needed, launches a bolt over Barnabus' head:  Attack: 4 Damage: 9.

The gnolls retaliate:  Attack: 21 Damage: 8
Attack: 6 Damage: 3
Attack: 11 Damage: 7 ... all 3 missing badly.

The largest is looking quite hurt, while the other two are still uninjured.

Cade strikes back at the largest of the enemy...

Claws Attack: 10 Damage: 15

Cade's jaw close on the injured gnoll's sword arm, severing it at the elbow as he stumbles backward, collapsing in the western hallway.

Kina's confidence has taken a hit since she spent so much energy attacking the air around her previous opponent. She keeps kicking, however, but decides to better save her focus for when she really needs it.
Unarmed strikes: 18  Second strike: 12   damage 1: 6  damage 2: 5

(Seriously D&D Beyond? 6 attack rolls and only one of them was over 4?)

(OOC:  Maybe the dice really do want to keep you a pacifist?)

Wil attacks the gnolls.

Attack 1: 27 Damage: 26

Attack 2: 23 Damage: 14

(Well that made up for my last attack)

Wil's first shot instantly kills his target, the second arrow also strikes home in the other gnoll to devastating effect, but somehow it manages to stay on its feet....barely.

Recap:  only one, mostly dead, target remaining.  (Wil wasn't kidding when he said he really didn't like these guys....lol)

Bart has no bardic inspiration left but that doesn't stop him from seeing Kina getting frustrated, which makes him turn to her and say "You are an amazing woman and you can do it! Focus Kina" Bart is gonna forgo his turn entirely just to give Kina the HELP action on her next turn. I will use my movement to get near her and hopefully get somewhere that has some cover maybe.

Barnabus moves onto the final gnoll.

As the final gnoll goes down, 'Junior' pipes up, "I never really liked them anyway, but we were told to leave them alone.  Are you sure The One sent you, dad?"

Kina shoots a look over to Bart that clearly says, "Is this bad?" as she moves behind 'junior'. She's preparing to restrain him; she doesn't want him to hurt himself like the others. She's certainly not doing much good dishing out damage, that's for ******* sure. (Yes I'm still salty about that!)

OOC: Well, to be fair, you can provide a lot of cover for Bart...... I'm sure he'd love to snuggle up close to you.....

 OOC: you do have advantage on your attack because I'm giving you the help action Kina, if ya want to of course.

Bart looks at his son "Of course my son! You know no one loves and worships 'The One' more than your dear old dad". Bart will also be ready to dispose of his son if he needs to, but feels like there still is time on his spell.
