Northlands Campaign

Bart speaks to the group and says " Those boys over there (Pincushin and Squeaks) are also still alive just in a gentle slumber so we can asks them some questions if we please" he stops and loojks at the now bloody bear and sings a little song to ease his pains " Oh great mighty bear/ Don't fall into deep dispair/ Your teeth hit true/ And your claws still shred/ Now go and send these fiends to bed" and casts Cure Wounds healing Cade for:  4

As some of the gashes on Cade-bear close and he forces Bubba deeper into the room, Kina is free to push through to assist.

Seeing the kind of fight that the big one puts up, Kina is well assured that he's not some poor brainwashed soul, so she's not afraid to do what's necessary... or to fight with the same brutality. She charges around Cade and rears up on her back legs to strike with both hooves at the large cultist's groin. She means to end his resistance.

Groin kick (Using Bardic inspiration): 7  damage: 7

The 10' high ceiling disrupts the centaur's attack, and Bubba easily dodges her hooves, but he ends up backed into a corner.

Rachel moves to her right so as to have a vantage point and fires over Cade-bear at Bubba, Attack: 9 Damage: 9, but her shot flies wide, striking the wall behind him.

Bubba looks over at Barnabus, distracted, giving Kina Advantage on her first attack this turn.

Kina whips about and kicks with her rear legs at Bubba's back, aiming to try and shove him into a wall. If he stays standing after this, he'll be able to see how completely surrounded he is. If he keeps fighting, it's his own fault then.

Rear double leg kick: 19  damage: 6

With a grunt and a snap, Bubba collapses into the corner, as gentle snores can be heard from Pincushion and Squeaks.

(OOC: is there anyone left to attack? Cade is not attacking unconscious ones.)

All combatants are all currently incapacitated.  Two sleeping in the inner room and one unconscious and bound in the outer room.

The inner room is roughly 30' x 30' square, minus a 10' x 10' area taken up by the main room.  The outer wall in the southeast corner is collapsing, although the gap doesn't look to be large enough to pass through.  Several bedrolls lie around the chamber, and there are boxes, crates and barrels against the north wall.

Wil binds the two that are sleeping, looks around and says, “Well, looks like we’ve found our camp for the night.”

"Aye," agrees Barnabus as he drags the third cult member into the room.

"Lets see what's in that stuff." 

Barnabus heads over to the crates and barrels to take a closer look.

Perception: 8

Kina looks around with dismay.
"This doesn't make sense. Even beggars live better than this." she says, then opens up her saddle pack to fish out her healer's kit, clopping over to Cade.
"Well, first things first, let's get you patched up." she says, worried at the sheer amount of punishment he took charging in head first into a beehive like that.

Wil joins Barnabus in investigating their camp for the night.

With the survivors secured, Rachel casts Cure Wounds on Cade, 11, Wil, 4, and Kina 6.  "Hopefully that gets everyone patched up," she says.

The barrels contain drinking water, the crates have a variety of preserved food stuffs, such as salted meats, root vegetables, trail biscuits and hard cheeses.  Barnabus and Wil, you also notice something odd about rubble near the wall breach.

Wil takes a closer look at the rubble.

Investigation: 18

Wil: 

Wil points the chest out to the group. "Anyone want to have a crack at it?"

Kina says around a mouthful of food,
"Domf ruuk ath meh. Awl I can du ish shtomp ib flabt." she mumbles. Apparently the monks didn't teach her proper table manners, or she's too hungry to give a crap.

Cade turns down the healing, as he simply changes out of the bear's form, the injuries vanishing as he does so. Whole, and uninjured, he sits down to eat some of the food.

"That is not my skillset either." He says once the chest was found. "I am not even strong enough now to break it for you..."
