Kina sees that the group is settling upon brute force, and turns her rear end to the door to add her strength to the next strike against the door. She may not be bear-sized, but her hooves will do some serious damage to the door frame and her extra legs give her some added leverage. She moves to assist Cade if he should strike again.

OOC: Um, I thought, based on Barnabus’s post and my response to what the defenders said, that we were trying to scare them out first with visions of fire and being cooked alive. Was I mistaken?
OCC: No I think your right. But Care striking it again could be seen as a last ditch attempt at force leading us to have to use fire instead. Burning it will have the same result as an axe. Lite it up.
Barnabus steps back to allow some of the others to gather some of the debris from around the room and place e it by the door.
(Do you want Cade to try the door again or are we moving forward with some sort of fire deception? Wasn't the deception roll like a 7 or something though, so why are we continuing it?)
Rachel, picking up what looks like it used to be the leg of a chair as it crumbles to splinters, "Maybe we should take a few pieces off the wagon outside, I don't think this stuff is going to burn very well. Unless we want to disassemble the corral too?"
From behind the door you hear a few muffled whispers but cannot make out any words.
OOC: That's how I see the progression so far as well.

“Barnabus, would you kindly do the honor with the non essential parts of the wagon? Try to save as much of it as you can, we might need it later. If there is any place to safely tie up the ox we can use the corral wood instead.”
Barnabus gives a curt nod to Wil and then heads to the corral. In his haste he begins to dismantle the corral with out bothering to tether the ox. Once he has an arm load of lumber he returns to see if any progress was made while he was gone.
Kina stomps her hoof on the floor by the door. "Your time is running out. There's plenty firewood here now to fill that room you're in with smoke and hot ash. Is this really how you want to die? In the middle of nowhere, trapped in a crumbling ruin, all for the One? Where is this One now? Not here, certainly, and not powerful enough to save your lives. You don't HAVE to die here today, any of you. Think about what you're doing before it's too late." she says.

From behind the door, you hear a different voice, "Ummm, uh, you really don't have to burn anything. It's really not necessary at all, because, um, yeah because, um, we already left and there's no one here now!" You could be mistaken, but it sure sounded like someone got slapped at the end of that bit of prattling.

Wil grabs a torch sets is down on the floor in front of the door and quietly tries to blow the smoke under the door while the other get ready for the real fire that he hopes will not be needed. He then stands up and asks Barbabus loud enough for those behind the door to hear and with a wink, “Hey isn’t stone used in forges to trap, concentrate, and focus the heat so it gets hot enough to melt the hardest of steels?”
Wil: You were able to get some of the torch smoke to waft under the door, but at a splashing sound from inside causes you jump up and away from the door as a colorless, odorless liquid flows outward from beneath the door, snuffing out the torch with a sizzle.

'Let me know if you want me to try breaking the door in again, though it seems to be blocked pretty good from the other side.' Cade says as he settles down against a wall, ready to help if the others need him.
Kina rubs her head. "All right, nuts to this." she says. "You lot had your chance." She takes a look at the state of the hinges for the door, if they're badly rusted enough that they could just be leveraged off so they can just lift the door away or simply open it from their side... and she's pretty sure that hacking away at the door with an axe will take quite a lot of time.

“Right, and inside that stone forge, that’s heated by fire, it gets really hot, just like what we’re doing here.” Wil nods his head hoping that Barnabus catches on, “Can you imagine being caught in a room as hot as a forge?”
