(So in Round 1, Syllin let Edward move in first, then followed behind with a mace strike to the creature. Three of you hit it, but it is still moving!) Lair roll: 3
This looks dire But we must be victorious, the songs I will write about us vanquishing this beast to the nether world will be amazing!!!! I state this as I close within striking distance of this creature and attack it with my dancing rapier of demise. After completing my attack I use my bonus action to use song to inspire Syllan (she can add 1D6 to one of her rolls.... HINT HINT) Fawn use the power of my song that I gave you last round and attack this thing with your short sword!!!!!!
Syllin's Inspiration: 4 Edward's inspiring words give Syllin the confidence boost needed to hit the queen again, followed quickly by Edward and Fawn! Together, the three of you have managed to almost kill the queen! But the monster won't go down easy - it tries to slam (4; 1,4=Syllin : 2,5=Edward : 3,6=Fawn) Fawn with its body, but she easily dodges the clumsy attack. Attack: 12 Damage: 12
Lair Action: 6 Suddenly, a group of eggs pop open and a swarm of tiny centipedes begin to emerge!!
Syllin makes the final blow, ending the brood queen and the threat of her hundreds of offspring! However, there is still the swarm of tiny insects to dispatch - can Edward and Fawn do it before one of the party gets covered in the clawing and biting creatures?!!

Drats the little buggers. (I am assuming they are small enough to step on) I move towards them and begin stomping on them as quickly and efficiently as I can. If anyone were observing me it would look as if I am dancing a jig as I stomp the life out of these little hatchlings. I am not sure if I need to make an attack and damage roll but if I do this is my roll below.

(They are small, but there are hundreds! Have to simulate combat somehow, hence rolling attack and damage scores. You rolled for cr@p, so here's what it looked like...)Edward tries stomping on the clicking, wriggling mass of centipedes, managing to catch a couple but not even making a dent in the moving carpet! Fawn also tries to kill off the swarm by...
(3; 1,4=Syllin : 2,5=Edward : 3,6=Fawn) The swarm converges on Edward the dancing man, surging up his legs and climbing all over his torso! Attack: 14 Damage: 4 It's amazing how these little bites can hurt soo much!
(I spoke with Rasawl earlier and he said this was his action. Posting to move the story along!) Edward, being munched on by the centipede swarm and cut by his own party trying to help, tells everyone to back up and then releases a wave of thunderous force! It obliterates the swarm and all of the remaining eggs in the cave. It also knocks Fawn and Syllin down, causing some bumps and scrapes and makes your ears ring, but the combat is over!
Doing a quick search of the cavern, you find the desiccated body of an elf in a nook of the cavern – a past meal for the queen by the looks of it. (DC12 Investigation:)
You also find a leather bag under the body. It is surprisingly heavy for a small bag…and you are surprised to see the inside of the bag is considerably larger than its outside dimensions – roughly 2 feet in diameter and 4 feet deep! Inside of the Bag of Holding are 23 copper rods (worth 1 gold each to a blacksmith); 13 bars of silver (worth 10 gold each); 50 gold pieces; 8 carnelians (opaque gems stones ranging from orange to reddish-brown and worth 50gp each); a driftglobe; and 4 potion of healing.
(Take a long rest and advance to 2nd level! When you are ready, let us know in the PM chat room and I'll introduce Howlix's character =)
Passing the check I discover the items described in the spoiler. I think we should sell the silver and rods for their value in Gold. Which comes to 50 GP for each of us. We each get two of the gems, and each get one healing potion. I recommend that we roll to decide who gets the bag of holding or the driftglobe. Highest gets first choice and the lowest gets the second choice, after all if you are not first you're last.

Thanks, everyone, for killing all the buggers, and to Edward for dividing up the treasure (I didn't realize you could math so well!) With your 20 roll, looks like we're all vying for the low roll for the other item.
My roll for the items: 7

If I'm unable to get close enough to the queen to use my mace, I shoot her with my crossbow.

I decide to join Edward in stomping on the little insects. I try to do the same jig as Edward, but I’m certainly not a dancer.
(can both of you redo the attack and damage rolls? Are you using a weapons? A spell? something else?)

"Bad luck, Fawn!" I say as I step closer to the swarm of bugs. I start beating at the swarm like I'm playing whack-a-mole, trying to kill the bugs.
