"Dang it, again?!" Gogon mumbled as he stood. He looked at the options and sighed. "I don't use armor, so I won't go in on that choice. But, yeah, a rest would be good."

Sythm quietly slips into the next room and after a brief pause, the rest of the party joins him. Inside you see an identical room to the one you just left, but the room is entirely empty. However, glancing around, you all sense that there is a presence nearby, and listening closely, you all hear a soft giggle coming from the back of the room.
(OOC: Wow! You all have really high passive perceptions... The lowest is Gogon and even he has a 12 at Lvl 1!)
(OOC: Note on Invisibility; You will have disadvantage on any attack roll against the creature, but you can at least make attack rolls because you know where the creature is.)
Not wanting to be bothered by an invisible demon, Chan centers a flash of light so the edge lines up where he hears the giggle, though missing his companions, and stands back to watch
dex dc 13 - good thing I was already planning to cast a spell :)
Sythm's bolt sinks into the invisible creature and disappears on impact, eliciting a loud screech. However, it appears that the bolt was not as effective as it has been on other creatures and some measure of the impact was reduced.
(OOC: The imp is still invisible, but is not hidden from you. You have disadvantage because you cannot see him, but you can target him because he is not hidden (i.e. failed his stealth roll))
Gogon is up next!

"Nice try, critter!" quipped Gogon as he ran forward toward an empty space by the wall. That was where he heard the giggling come from, that was where he noticed the scant dust on the ground move--that had to be where his target was.
Closing in, the halfling spun into a low kick, then continued into a crouching punch at the empty space.
START: Maneuver to U-12 MOVE: To U-8 ACTION: Unarmed attack toward T-7 - Attack: 22, Damage: 5 BONUS: Second unarmed attack toward T-7 - Attack: 18, Damage: 5

Gogon's low kick is jumped by the invisible imp and Gogon is almost knocked off balance, but his crouching punch lands square in the chest of the imp. However, like the crossbow bolt, the attack seems to be dulled.
Immediately following this, Chan creates another glittering of dust paired with a brilliant flash of light.
Dex Save: 17
Unfortunately, the Imp's quick reflexes paired with it's innate resistance to magic, it manages to avoid being sprayed with the flash of light and maintains it's invisibility.

Yuno, in her new armor says, "You can't hide forever imp! If we make a 100 attacks, at least 25 of them will hit!" She runs over 8T and swings wildly at where she thinks the imp might be, hoping that her dagger's blade will slice through the imp as she rampages against the air.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: I forgot to roll concentration checks, I will edit the damage and let y'all know who hit the imp at the bottom of the post)
Concentration (from Sythm's attack): 21
Concentration (from Gogon's second attack): 16
Both of Yuno's swings are ineffective against the imp who is proving to be near impossible to hit because of his invisibility. You all hear a cackling sound in front of you coming from the imp as it darts forward and attempts to stick its stinger in the girl in front of it.
Sting Attack: 19 Damage: 5 On a hit Constitution Saving Throw to Halve poison damage (DC 11): 23 On a failed save (halved on a success): 10
As the imp strikes, its stinger missed Yuno who barely dodges out of the way, but its position revealed, the invisibility on it drops and you can now clearly see its red horned form with its tail lashing behind it stinger twitching.
(OOC: The imp never lost its concentration on invisibility so all attacks are the same as described above.)
Sythm's bolt sneaks past the imp's defenses and the shock of the bolt hitting it causes it to collapse to the ground, dead.
The voice speaks up "You have earned a rest."
You all immediately gain the benefits of a short rest (please roll any hit dice in this thread) and three doors appear in front of you.
86 ; 25
The door on the far left has a picture of a golden headband that is glowing with a medium bright glow. The door in the center is the all too familiar four-pointed star that is shining brightly, and the door on the right has a suit of scale mail that is not glowing at all...
Doors (Left to Right): Moderate Glow Level Up No Glow

The halfling breathed a sigh of relief, thankful for not having been put down yet again. "Well, anyone else need any armor? If not, I say we try that new headband door."

Sythm enters the room unseen and the rest of you follow. As the door disappears behind you, you see an all too familiar room ahead. With two worgs and ___ goblins, you prepare yourselves for another boss fight.

(You may reposition up to 10 feet away from the door for free.)

I didn't quite get it, is he invisible now or did he simply fail his stealth roll?
Sythm loads a bolt into his crossbow and shoots towards where he thinks the presence is.
Attack: 13 Damage: 8
The attack roll considers my advantage from hiding cancels out the disadvantage from invis.
If he's not invis, here's a second roll to apply advantage: 22
Also, if he's not invis that would give me sneak attack, so damage: 5
