As Chan lunges forward to stab the beast again, it growls and the blade sinks deep into its flesh, but somehow another illusion projects from it and Yuno's first strike falls prey to the illusion and misses the beast entirely, smashing the illusion instead. But between her second rapier and Sythm's bolt that once again pierces the hide of the displacer. The beast slumps to the ground and disappears. With a wave of his hand, Chan uses some basic healing magic to restore Gogon before any serious damage can be done.

As you defeat the beast, you all feel a surge of power as you gain another level and a tugging sensation as you are dragged down, to the next level of this seemingly endless dungeon.
(OOC: Go ahead and figure out your levels... I will post an update with the new level later today or tomorrow.)
Gogon's mind had traveled elsewhere after his last fall:
The young monk suddenly found himself once more standing in an nearly endless, lush green field, with distant mountains to his left and right. And again in front of him sat the gargantuan dragon with five heads, flanked by the ten dragonborn. While the heads of the dragon were harder to read, the dragonborn seemed to be smiling at the halfling.
"You've done well so far!" praised the red head of the dragon, with both mirth and acknowledgement in its voice. "You are not through yet, though. As a reward, arise, and take another fraction of our power."
It was then that the dragon lowered all five heads, and as they opened their mouths, energies flowed out. Cold, poison, fire, lightning and acid sprayed, converging on Gogon as his eyes widened in shock.
Even though the effects of their potions had worn off, a new surge of draconic energies raced through the halfling's body, and he awakened from his vision, sitting up with a gasp. "Well," he began simply as he got to his feet and began hopping around, somehow feeling more agile now, "that went better than I expected."

The tugging sensation ends and you are now in some sort of construction room. There are large piles of rubble in the corners of the room and the rest of the room is a solid metal. It appears to be some kind of steel box and there are only two exits. You also feel the strength of the potion wear off as you return to your normal strength levels.
(The rubble is considered difficult terrain where light, and impassable where dark. There are no natural forms of cover in this room, making stealth difficult at best and impossible at worst.)

Both of the doors are a solid metal sheen and each have an image painted onto them in what resembles grafiti. Both of the doors hold images of a bed, but the door on the left is not glowing quite as bright as the door on the right which is emitting a blinding brilliance. "Choose your fate."
(OOC: Wow... This was very fortunate for you all.)
Yuno shields her eyes a bit with her hand as she faces the brightly glowing door. She says, "AHAHAHAH. You guys up for another tough fight? I could use some more spilled blood."
Yuno seems primed for another tough battle. She is filled with renewed energy. BA Second Wind to heal: 7 HP
Gogon stood still, feet together, eyes closed and fists drawn back to his sides. He slowly breathed out, trying to refocus, then opened his eyes. "Ready!" he said as he adjusted the grip on his spear.
As Sythm sneaks into the next room, he realizes that although he was relatively quiet, it isn't going to make much of a difference given the absence of any cover in the room. Even the walls of this room are well lit so finding a hiding spot is all but impossible. As he steps in, the rest of the party is teleported in as well and in front of them, wound in a tight circle are a pair of metallic snakes. As you enter the room, they both begin to hiss loudly and they rise up from their coil preparing to dart forward and strike.
Sythm will reposition to W13. "Ah, metal! Hard to pierce with arrows." He touches his Circlet, aims with his mind and says: "Maybe some fire will melt them down!"
Bonus Action: Steady Aim, giving me advantage on the first attack roll. Sadly Elven Accuracy doesn't work here :/ Using the Circlet of Blasting to cast Scorching Ray. One ray on C2 and two on C1.
Attack on C2: 14 Damage: 4 Attack on C1: 8 Damage: 8 Attack on C1: 13 Damage: 5
(On his turn) Chan takes a couple steps back, and seeing the metal realizes that a mental Toll might still work better than an outright attack. He then readies his spell to hit the first snake that takes damage.
Gogon twirled his spear, then pointed it at the first snake. "You," he said with a smile just before racing toward the creature; with a leap, he lunged into an attack, then landed to spin into a low kick.
MOVE: To Q-11 ACTION: Spear lunge to snake 1 - Attack: 8, Piercing Damage:6 BONUS: Unarmed strike to snake 1 - Attack: 25, Bludgeoning Damage: 5 REACTION: Opportunity attack will be another kick - Attack: 24, Bludgeoning Damage: 7

The snake easily dodges Gogon's first lunge with a hiss, but his low kick caught the snake off guard and it slams into the snake's metal coil, although it doesn't quite do as much damage as you had hoped.
Wisdom Save: 18
The snake easily resists the tolling that Chan sounds, although the fire from Sythm's circlet manages to land on each snake once, singing them both. The fire doesn't seem to be especially effective, but it is not resisted like Gogon's attacks were. With that, the first cobra spins around to face Gogon and strikes with its fangs, aiming for Gogon's throat.
Bite Attack: 19 Damage: 9 Constitution Save: 21
The fangs sink into Gogon's throat, but as he slips from consciousness, he manages to resist the effects of the poison that is coursing through his body with his halfling resilience.

Yuno groans, "Constructs again? I was primed for something with more flesh and blood." She closes the gap between herself and the snakes. She strikes out at the one that felled Gorgon with her rapier, aiming the flaming one at the snake's neck while the other rapier hurtles toward the snake's mouth with great speed, threatening to blow a chunk off its face.
Flame Rapier: 13 Dmg: 10 + 1 + 6 Fire BA Rapier: 17 Dmg: 5 + 2

Yuno's disappointment could not be told from the ferocity of her blows. She sprints to the middle of the snakes where she can easily reach both and begins to unload her attacks. Her first rapier blasts into the snake on the left and chips a significant amount of metal from its neck leaving it sparking. Her second rapier also connects, although the blow seems to be dulled by something. As she finishes her flurry, the snake to her right rears back and lunges forward attempting to bite Yuno's arm.
Bite Attack: 16 Damage: 5 Constitution Save: 23
The bite connects and stings, but she remains standing, and manages to resist the effects of the poisons that are coursing through her body.

"Dodge more" Chan says to Gogon, using his last (2nd level) slot to bring him up for 6. He then again sends a Toll towards the injured metal snake for 10.
"Well then, it wasn't as effective as I hoped. Maybe a bolt will do after all." He aims at the snake which was more or less ignores up until now by the others and releases a bolt from his crossbow. If the bolt hits, he'll also call his Phantom friends to attack the other snake.
Steady Aim. Attack on C2: 22 Damage: 17 On a hit, Wails From the Grave on C1: 5 Necrotic damage.
The snake manages to resist the tolling again, and you get the sense that it might have some sort of resistance to your divine magic. Sythm's bolt, however, strikes the cobra that bit Yuno and as the Wails travel to the other snake, you can tell that while the bolt was resisted, the wails were not, and the first cobra is beginning to spart dangerously. After being struck by the Phantom's wails, he lunges out towards Yuno, the nearest enemy.
Bite Attack: 11 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Unfortunately his bite doesn't connect and gives Yuno a chance to retaliate.
(I assume stealth was successful? If bot, use this round's Bonus Action fir Steady Aim instead of Hide.)
Seeing that his tactic is working against this enemy, Sythm once again shoots a bolt out of the shadows and slips back into them.
