Kane appears lost in thought. “Hmm? Oh yes...I hope you are right Zira, that’s it’s just regular dogs. However, I wouldn’t mind a challenge. As for spells, most of mine are straight damage, not very helpful in the utility section.”
"If they're wayward guard dogs, putting them to sleep or knocking them unconscious would be much better," Seiren says, nodding. "If they start attacking us, that's definitely not preferable, but, uh, I'll do what I can to... lower their morale."
You all arrive into a shadowy patch of the forest, where a little boy is backing up into a large rock, while a medium sized dog attempts to protect him, snarling at 6 wolfs, that are attempting to encircle and trap them.

(This conversation takes place before the party encounters the wolves.)
Kane, feeling guilty, slows his pace until he is in the back with Seiren. “Hey, I’m sorry about earlier. I treated you like a child and I shouldn’t have have done that. You are fully capable of handling yourself. I just didn’t want to head into battle with tension between us. So... we cool?” He sticks his hand out for an apologetic fist bump.

Seiren nods slowly. “You... weren’t wrong; I am still a child, but, yes, not being treated like one is preferable.” She bumps his fist lightly with her prosthetic hand. “We’re cool. Pun intended.”
