"Nope. Too close. That's not allowed." Hex disengages from the skeleton and moves back 10ft, shouting a thanks to Ola. She mutters to herself as she prepares to attack. "If they keep getting close, I'll end up backing out of the catacombs at this rate."
Shortsword vs. Sylyra (Disadvantage-Frostbite): 7 Shortsword vs. Ola: 23Damage: 5
Sylyra continues the display of effectiveness with his staff, smashing through the exposed ribs of a skeleton. As it crumbles, he and Arnald take over for Cassyt as she disengages from it and moves to the opposite end of the room, cautiously eyeing the ceiling. Arnald's strike is parried by the creature, but it is unable to strike back as Uragum slows its bones with frost.
Ola slices through part of the remaining skeleton as Hex does the same, but the paladin takes a painful nick on the hand in the process as the skeleton spins to face her instead.
Round 4 Order: Players <===== Cassyt Skeletons
Placement: One skeleton is engaged in melee combat with Arnald and Sylyra. One skeleton is engaged in melee combat with Ola, separating Hex from the rest of the party..
Health: Both skeletons are lightly wounded.
Uragum is badly wounded. Ola is wounded. Arnald is lightly wounded. Sylyra is lightly wounded.
Uragum is becoming frustrated. His staff attack missed, his spells have not gone off and he has taken a nasty blow himself. He can only attempt again. He aims at the skeleton Ola and releases his icy frost again.
Casting frostbite on the one by Ola. Con save or take 3 frost damage and have disadvantage to next attack.
Pleased at how quickly and efficiently the party is dispatching these skeletons and the fact that they seem to have stopped raining down from the ceiling, Sylyra swings his staff at the closest boney target.

Skeleton CON Save: 4
Ola scatters one skeleton, severing it at its midsection. The creature's fall provides a line of sight for Hex, who looses her arrow past Ola and between Arnald and Sylyra. It strikes the remaining skeleton's skull; combined with a layer of frost courtesy of Uragum, the skull shatters into a thousand pieces, and the last undead creature in the room falls.
Room Description:
The walls of this section are lined with burial niches containing skeletons, as in other areas of the catacombs. A set of stairs leads downward at the opposite end of the room.
OOC: Each character has received 50 XP for defeating the skeletons.
Uragum holds up his arm where the wound is. "Not sure about the rest of you but I could use a break to patch myself up before we continue. Ya mind if we take some time?"
The spectral green flames disappear from Sylyra's staff as the motes stop falling from the mistletoe. He places the butt of the weapon on the floor and gives Uragum a slight nod. "I have no objection." He looks at Cassyt. "How about it, m'lady? Do we have time to take a break?"
Hex does her usual round of looking for any salvageable arrows. "Ola patched me up pretty well but a short rest does sound good. Hopefully no more skeletons fall from the ceiling."
"I might need some rest too." Ola did not want to admit it, but the wounds left by skeletons were quite deep and painful, she needed to rest a bit to be able to fight.
Cassyt tries poorly not to roll her eyes at Sylyra and replies, "I could use a rest as well. I am still winded from my fall as well and I am not used to straining at this pace, if I am being honest."
OOC: Sounds like a short rest is in order. Let me know how long you would like to rest (minimum of 1 hour for a short rest) and where you would like to do so. If there are any light rest activities (like identifying/attuning) that you wish to do, please let me know that as well.
Feel free as always to add any discussion or conversation between yourselves and Cassyt that you wish to have.
OOC: There's a suggestion to rest at the stairs and some to rest in the sun chamber. I'd like to confirm where the party would like to rest before resolving whether it was interrupted or completed successfully.

Seemed like the skeletons reacted to the blood. But whether that was the case or not, all Ola could do is to continue fighting:

Uragum would suggest back tracking to the room they fell in. That had busted steps and I believe a door that locked.
As for resting, going to spend some hit dice for healing and do arcane recovery to get a spell slot back.

Uragum would think the sun chamber. I think thst was the one with a locking door.
Ola has no preferences.
