OOC: Remember not to edit your character sheets before something has been resolved, please. I don't track HP anywhere but on the character sheets, and if the short rest had been interrupted I would have had to try to backtrack some characters' HP to where it was before the short rest was taking place.
Cassyt Hit Die: 5
The waning sun provides a pleasant warmth through the grate in the ceiling of the sun pit, countering the chill of the catacombs, though the dead bodies around contrast the rest with their grim countenance. A breeze occasionally blows through the grate, creating an unpleasant sound akin to whistling or moaning, but you recuperate as an hour passes quietly by.
OOC: Characters have gained the benefits of a short rest. Your sheets now reflect the hit dice that you rolled, but if anybody would like to roll additional hit dice they may do so now.
After about an hour, Hex stands up from her spot at the door and knocks on the wall. "Everyone good to go?" If everyone is good, she steps out of the room and follows the group from behind.
Returning to the scene of the latest battle, the skeletons remain as scattered bones across the chamber.
Area Description:
The walls of this section are lined with burial niches containing skeletons, as in other areas of the catacombs. A set of stairs leads downward at the opposite end of the room.
Ola, continues to their initial destination - stairs, but tries to periodically look up and be on alert in general in case more skeletons are about to appear.
At the base of the stairs is a room a bit grander than the plastered remains above. A mummified figure in magnificent apparel sits on a throne inlaid with ivory and semiprecious stones. It holds a golden dagger in its right hand and a balance in its left. A crown of gold and tarnished silver seems to float above its head. The whole scene is draped in cobwebs.
The room holds two visible exits - a closed door on the right side of the room, and a passage that continues further ahead.
"Our robbers missed the target,"commented Ola studying the sparkling decorations of the mummy. "Or may be they were too smart to touch something like this." She smiled as if said a joke. "No, that would be too smart. Just could not pass the guards, I guess."And added a moment later "Don't think we should touch anything here either."
She looked up, raising the lamp so it would light the ceiling - to check for more skeletons or any danger the room can present.
"Whoever that used to be must've either been royalty or just really liked themselves." Looking at the two entrances, Hex nods her head towards the closed door. "We should start checking more places since we're deeper in the catacombs now."
Sylyra does not touch as suggested by Ola, but he leans in closely to examine the throne and dagger (especially the stones). As close as he can get without touching anything, he'll look at the crown as well. He's also curious how it is supported that it looks like it is floating. If the elf is able to subtly get Uragum's attention before the group is too for gone, he motions the goliath over, and asks in an undertone, "Do you sense anything magical about this?"
Uragum stares at the throne with all its sparkily bits and thinks its such a waste. Though, maybe its for a God and not a show of wealth for the individual person? Then he gets shaken from his thoughts from Sylyra. He turns to him and shrugs. "I mean, I wasn't searching for magic but i guess I could. It would take 10 minutes for me to cast the spell to see if there is magic... and if there was, we couldn't do anything with it right? We said we wouldn't take anything from the dead."
Arnald has no preferences.

Hex also thinks the sun chamber sounds good.
Between the two, Sylyra would prefer the sun chamber.

Sylyra's ready to continue (near the back).
Rested enough to continue Ola silently stood up and took her place at the head of the procession.

Uragum is good to go. Could you please check off the arcane recovery for him to gain back a 1st level slot. Thank you
Arnald is likewise ready to continue.

Sylyra also casts his eyes at the ceiling about every other step to make sure they don't get caught unawares again.
Uragum follows with his light spell illuminating the way. He continues to grip his staff in one hand, always at the ready for a new attack.

(Looks like consensus here is to check the door first then move across to the next passage)
