Fenro replies to the Message, “I think it best to show a genuine interest and ask about how successful they have been in spreading their word, who is involved, what they hope to achieve in the future. See if anything stands out.”
”Thank you,”Fenro says to the man at the door before entering the building. He is a little surprised by the sparse nature of the interior, but it was like the spire - a trick to hide reality and to appear more than they actually are. Or was this about some form of piety?
Fenro walks around the room in a clockwise direction checking out the room and observing people. If people greet him he offers a polite greeting before moving on. As he does so, he hopes to find someone who is a little out spoken and eager to impress. Fenro believed such a person would be more likely to speak without thought of the implications. Insight: 9
Luckily for Aramae he seemed to have found someone who was only too happy to share, an older gnome who had been busy cleaning up after some of the practitioners. "New! Well yes, yes, I would be happy to share with you. This is the temple of Aramet, God Above All. You may have been told that we were a new religion, which is true, but Aramet himself is very old. You see, it was he who created the world, and everything that lives on it. Once he was done he created the other gods to watch over it, and then he left, satisfied that his creation was well cared for. Unfortunately, as you know, it was not and when the Betrayal happened he turned his eyes to our world again, though he was satisfied with the solution the gods made. Now though, the Rebellion and the Exodus have called him back. He can no longer abide the destruction coming to his creations and is coming back, to take control himself once again."
Fenro, you see that Aramae has a handle on the most likely person to share things. Make a perception check.

The man shakes his head. "Not to me or anyone I know. Maybe to some of the clerics down at the temple in Domain. But that's not very unusual. When was the last time a god talked to anyone outside of their clerics or paladins. That's just not how gods operate."
"As for directions, he has given us the mission of his church. To spread the word of his return and make sure that people believe so that they are prepared to do his bidding when he does arrive."

"Have those in town here been welcoming to those who work here? I hope no hostilities have come up between worshippers here and the townsfolk."
Aramae casts Message to Fenro again.
'Have you been listening to this gnomish man? If what he says is true, then the count may very well be involved. This man mentioned Domain, a city in Schirit, if I remember correctly. And the Aethling had mentioned the count hailing from there. And as a count, he would certainly have a high position, influence, and ears on the streets. If not him specifically, then perhaps another from Schirit. Far too many coincidences being revealed.'
”Interesting, see if you can find out how they feel about non-believers? Is it conversion at all cost? Or can they coexist with other faiths?” Fenro replies as he continues to look around the room.
Oryxis chuckles at the half of the conversation they all get to hear. His pride had spellcasters with similar abilities in them, but he never payed much attention to how they went about their day. It was odd and funny to see.

Fenro continues to make his way around the room, trying to take in the symbolism of the church, looking at any artwork, scriptures, even the colours used, trying to piece together an understanding of what might be important to them. As he did so he noticed a face toward the back of the room that felt familiar. He did not know where he knew this human from, but something tugged at his mind. As he tried to place the face he continued to work his way back there. Finally, unable to place the person, Fenro decided to simply approach them and start talking.
"Excuse me,"Fenro said as he approached, "you are so familiar. I just can't place where we have met before..."Fenro trails off hoping that the other man will fill in the gaps.
The church is remarkably plain, no statues, scriptures or anything like that. Except when you look up, the ceiling above you is painted with a multitude of stars, a quite convincing replica of the night sky above the city.
As you get close and speak there's a flurry of movement and a scraping of benches as the man stands up and sprints for a back exit to the church.

Aramae is startled by the sudden movements of the distressed man.
He politely waits for the gnome to answer his questions if the sudden activity doesn't startle him too much, or if the gnome decides to end the conversation, Aramae will thank him for his time and leave him be, stepping up next to Fenro and casting message once more.
"Follow him,. Let's not make too much of a scene in the temple"Fenro replies to Aramae's message."Excuse me,"he says aloud in general to those around him as he follows after the man out the back of the church. Just before he steps out the door to follow the man he changes his appearance using, hoping that the man will not react as quickly. Outside, he quickly scans the area to see if the man is still visible, or if there is any sign of which direction he may have gone.

Hopefully the man believes that he has evaded capture and runs straight back into Aramae's waiting arms.

Splitting off from Fenro but still remaining relatively close in the same room, Aramae begins chatting up a person at random.
"Hello friend. Fine day it's been for you, I hope. I am new to town and was curious about this place. Could you tell me anything?"

Aramae finds himself surprised that the name of this God is remarkably close to his own, but dismisses it as mere coincidence.
"I see! Has Aramet spoken to you or anyone else here? If he is indeed here to help the world I would hope he has given directions on how to do so."
