Usul grins at the complement about his shooting skills, but then grimaces a bit and replies “Yes, the almost elf or we could shoot more from inside easily enough. Though once we’re inside, we could just look around instead no?”
You estimate it's about 11 or so in the morning still.
Yes, at any given time there's usually between 2-3 undead on the side of the manor you're facing. You've counted up to 6 total circling the building, but some are on the other sides sometimes.
Usul's target drops instantly as the bolt rips through its skull - the other undead is bombarded by the rest of the party. Magical energy slams into the creature, followed by an arrow through its chest from Kal. The undead drops to a knee, nearly going down before rising once more and shambling towards the party. As it closes the distance, Velyra's firebolt goes wide, hitting the manor behind it.
Assume top of initiative order. The undead is now within 70 feet of the party. If by some miracle you don't manage to drop it this next round, things will get interesting and we'll roll initiative and have a map. :)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Usul, seeing the remaining undead stumbling towards the party again takes aim at this one, but seeing it already injured doesn’t pull his string quite as tight. Sometimes power is less important than accuracy he thinks to himself as he pulls the trigger.
Arcane energy slams into the undead's collarbone, making it stutter and stumble with a loud crack. It looks as if it would fall once more, but regains its footing and continues on. Usul's bolt finds the zombie's eye socket this time, piercing straight through. It stumbles forward a few more steps, and then falls to the ground.
None of the other undead patrolling the mansion have come around yet, but you know you don't have long before they do...
Stepping through the gate, the gravel eventually shortly gives way to a cobbled path. The other undead have yet to come around from either side of the manor. On the west side of the manor, you can see where the field is still burned brown, with only a few tufts of grass sprouting to reclaim the ruined land. Inside a ruined stone wall you can see the burned husks of what were once great trees, looming over a pond of dirty water. You can see the manor is multi-storied, with at least two floors. The windows on this side lack curtains of any kind, but you see no light or movement from within.
Map for visual: (in the future I promise to have better cardinal direction continuity. i was just so far along with the interior before I realized my mistake :P)
Silthras looks around nervously, then turns to Kal, "I don't like being out in the open, but would you be able to sense anything in the house if we got closer?"
"We should dispatch the others quickly then and move inside." Kal says in reply. "Not in the way you're probably thinking, not right now anyway. I can figure out if something is masquerading as something it isn't, but if it's actually hidden itself...I'm afraid not."
He hitches his pack into a comfortable position, tightens the straps, ready to run if necessary. Then he starts glancing each way, his hand enveloped in a purple glow, ready to launch a magical assault on the first undead that makes it past Usul's ungodly weapon.

Silthras frowns, "I guess it depends how far away they are. I'd say we start shooting when the are in range. Why get closer than we have to?"
"So up to the gates we go then? We're burning daylight here." Velyra says, checking the sun's position to get an approximate time.
@DM where we at on time of day?
@DM can we see any undead from where we are?

As soon as two zombies are withing 120', Silthras stops, "Usul, pick one...we'll attack the other!"
Readied action: as soon as Usul has shot at one, cast Eldritch Blast at the nearest undamaged undead.
Attack: 27 Damage: 14
Usul nods, and points to one saying “We’ll hit that one.” He then takes aim, and launches a bolt at it.

Dropping to a knee, Kal sights on the undead indicated by Silthras, and lets loose an arrow with the longbow he was loaned.
Attack: 8 Damage: 8
Velyra steps up next to the other, holding out her hand and sending a Fire Bolt towards the same undead targeted by Kal and Silthras.
Attack: 7 Damage: 5

Silthras looks around for any other signs of movement, "Four left. I say we deal with them before facing whatever is in the Manor."
