'Easy come, easy go." Usul thinks, as it seems he'll already be out 50 of his new platinum coins. Then looking around the shop says, "While we're here... we've heard of an Elven cloak that helps people hide. Since we're already looking for ways to be undetected, that could be useful... or... Perhaps if we traded this,"Usul pulls out the Icy Dagger ((which is Rare if that helps at all)), "we could trade it for a bat cloak instead? Since we..."this time referring to the group 'we', "are buying so much?"
The shopkeeper, who at last introduces himself as Bran, looks thoughtful for a moment as he considers Silthras words. "I suppose I could bring the price of the amulets down 100 gold a piece for such a large order...As for your other requests, I unfortunately don't have anything to change your luck, nor can I match the craftiness of the elves." He hops off his chair and hobbles to a locked cabinet, flipping through his key ring to get the proper one. He opens the doors and takes a few things out, setting them on the counter. "I do have some things I've purchased from other customers however, you're welcome to take a look."
While you look over the items, he takes a look at the dagger Usul offered up. His eyes go a little wide as he looks over the enchantments, "where on Ravere did you get this?" He mumbles, turning it over in his hands. "Did you find anything that catches your eye?"
"It is really shiny eh?" Usul says as he takes the knife back sliding it back under his belt. "Those are nice bracers, but for now we think your hidey amulets will be enough."
"Right, of course it is." The shopkeeper says, reluctantly handing back the dagger. His eyes linger on the blade, and then he shakes his head slightly. "Alright. So just the amulets then?" He replaces the items he removed from the cabinet, and then pulls out parchment, writing out a quick sale contract. It's fairly straight forward, no fine print or the like, just a simple agreement that he will have the requested items ready within the next four days.
He collects the payment - or traded items, and smiles. "Quite a surprising sale for the day, but I can't say I'm disappointed. I'll keep an eye for some of those enchantments you were curious about, so feel free to check back when you can. The amulets will be ready four days from now."
With your business concluded, Bran wishes you all a good day, and for the time returns to tinkering with that mechanical watch on the counter...
You step back out onto the street, ready to head to your next destination.
Velyra's hand goes to the sending stone in one of her belt pouches thoughtfully, as the rest of her group plans their shopping spree. "Do we want to warn our friends that we'll be paying a visit soon, or should we just show up?"
"Well this place is just like a regular tavern right? We could always go check it out first. Get some drinks perhaps. Then once we're satisfied, we approach them." Kal says, placing his purchase in a pouch. Later tonight, he would attach it to his blade.
"Excellent!" Silthras exclaims when he finds the scroll of Comprehend Languages. Showing it to Syl he asks if she knows the spell or could learn it, and is happy to pay for whatever is needed.
But...when he sees the Sentinel shield and the Broom of flying, he positively beams. "How much for these?" he asks, his expression like a small happy child. At the answer he sighs theatrically, his smile immediately disappearing. "We are new to town, but likely to be back on many occasions with things to buy and sell...perhaps if we agree to give you first refusal, you might give us a discount?"

Usul, though disappointed in not finding exactly what he wants, figures maybe Mr. Kwiz would know a place where he could put in an order for later, and takes a good long look at the boots in Fantasma, the 4th shop where the slow speaking Tortle shopkeeper carefully explains how they work. With his reward money in his pocket he decides, since it is the last shop of the day after all, that he can't pass them up, and hands over 30 platinum coins for the boots. He also makes a note of the crossbow in Arcane Affinity, the 2nd shop, but doesn't quite have the coin yet, so carefully puts it back on the shelf.
He then thinks back to the first shop and the way the owner was so interested in his dagger ((insight 10)), and then suggests that the group go to a nice dinner.

Sil: 13 A wiry halfling with blonde hair mans the first shop you enter, remaining quiet as you take a look around. He raises an eyebrow as Silthras brings up the broom, asking for a discount. Considering the words for a moment, he tilts his head with a smile. "But of course. That will be 190 gold pieces."
Sil: 11 At Silthras suggestion of a discount, the Tortle gives a long laugh, shaking his head. "M' afraid not, though it was a good effort." He drawls on slowly. "The shield is yours still, if you're willing to pay the full price."

Though to Usul's eye, the dagger is fairly simple in what it does...Considering where it came from, and the unique and ancient design of it, it crosses his mind that the enchantment on its own is not necessarily what might make it so special.
"I suppose it couldn't hurt anything," Velyra says to herself quietly, running a finger down the silvery shield at the first shop. As others prepare to move on, she makes the decision to purchase it, counting out the coins to the shopkeeper before hurrying out to catch the others.
As they finish up their shopping, Kal turns to Usul. "You said something about dinner, is there a particular place you had in mind while we're in your city?"
"Oh. Right, no I don't have that one copied down yet. I still have some supplies left over that, so I could do it tonight!"Syl says, gingerly taking the spell scroll. She gives it a quick look over, "you do know I'll have to use this to copy it though right?"
Silthras shrugs and smiles briefly, "Its an investment in the future, for all of us."
He pays for the scroll and says over his shoulder to Syl, "Besides, I dont really think this is all my money. It's a good thing for all of us, like this bag."
