Welcome to the Emporium of Mayhem! What sort of mischief do you seek today? Pyromaniac Wyldfyre searching for her place in the world.
Zagga cringes at the burning books and curses himself for not thinking of another way. "Archimedes, say something!" He kneels down to check on the owl.
Oh man...I’m so torn. I feel like it would be more fun to go look for trouble, but I don’t think that’s what Hathi would do. Let’s start with the training area and once he’s feeling confident, he’ll head toward the bar a little early and if he happens to find trouble...he’ll try it out in person.
Cheshire enjoys the walk through the brighter woods. The newness of it starts to fade he finds himself humming a different tune. He takes out his pan flute a begins to play. Eventually breaking into song. “Twas brillig, and the slithy toves/Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;/All mimsy were the borogoves,/And the mome raths outgrabe.” As he sings colors flash among the trees.
(Casting Minor Illusion to create the flashes of color in the trees. I’ll more or less head directly to town. But at a rather leisurely pace.)
"All I want to know is where my sister is, and what is going on with Arendell." Elsa says through the muffled covering of her ice armor. She starts her slow movement towards the exit. She glances to those she passes. "Do any of you know what is going on with Princess Anna?"
Luke sits down at the bar, "Thank you. My name is Luke, I'm looking for information on the whereabouts of Peter Pan, from Neverland. I was once one of the Lost Boys, they were attacked while both Pan and I were absent, the only survivor found me and begged for help in saving Neverland. My mission is to find Peter Pan and convince him to return to Neverland to protect it, and to find out who slaughtered the Lost Boys. Any help you can provide is much appreciated."
((OOC: Figured logically for starters there could be different ammunition for different damage types, but my thoughts, especially with an artificier, that further down the road, different ammunition could cause different spell effects as well.))
"Very well. I do not fully understand you label of 'family', however I have no reason to object. I accept your term."
Looking over the weaponry, Tik-tok confirms that this particular firearm would be the most effective with unknown threats. "I would approve of this arrangement. Manuals would prove most useful. I would purchase those as well."
She happily accepts the ride and sits on your head and points you in the direction towards the border of the Wild district. You guys arrive around 5pm and you get to an outpost that consists of a few houses in trees, a rundown inn/tavern and a store that says "PAWn Shop" at the front. Trixie says that you guys could make it to the city of Nocturnus by 11pm If you hurry and that arriving that late would not be an issue since it is a nocturnal town. It is ultimately your decision if you want to do something at this outpost or keep going towards the goal.
Zagga:
Some powerful magic was used here, Archimedes is not a weak man and for him to be knocked out by one simple book does not seem to be reasonable to you. The first book was embued with a second spell (besides the one that animated it) that has knocked Archimedes unconsious. He is not currently in danger but you feel you must take him to a more powerful magic user so he is able to wake up. You hear the walls rumbling around you and one of the shelves open and you see in front of you the lobby for the Library. The same one you saw hours ago where you saw the map.
Hathi Jr:
You go to the training site and as you head there you see that word about you has spread around your division and anyone who would have known you even in the slightest takes off their hat and puts it against their chest, as if they were mourning a dead person. You approach the training spot and you catch the tail end of a conversation "... Things are changing ay mate?" "They sure are boss... It must be that Peter Pan is missing and Tinkerbell is with..." the conversation trails off as the people get further from you. Go ahead and make attack roles on the trees and if you like there are a couple non sentient animals if you want to try and hunt and test the electric part.
Cheshire:
The trees sparkle with your magic with colors never before imagined and you even hear a couple of monkey children watch the magic and everytime a new sparkle appears they go "Oooh! Aaahh! Wooow!". They eventually fade as you continue towards your goal. You walk all day and a good portion of the night as it is a clear night sky with plenty of stars, not to mention everywhere you look in the horizons you see bonfires with animals dancing and making the sounds that come naturally to them so it is a good night to be out and walking. You approach the edge of Town Square. You haven't arrived but to get to the center of Town Square would take at least 6 more hours. You do see an inn named "The Cat's Nap" With a bright neon sign in front that flickers with another sign underneath that says "vacancies". You could risk not getting any sleep (and a point of exhaustion), or explore this area for a bit, or head into the inn.
Redek:
OOC: I didn't even think about the fact that Redek might have a wife or life partner! That is ******* dope and amazing ahahah! What is her name?
The young messanger boy which is a small robot that has parts missing, looks up and says "This message will be delivered with haste. Thank you for using the Message Boy™ system have a great day!" And as he uses his wheels to get away you swear you hear him say "I will see you soon Redek" in a non-robotic voice that does not seem familiar. But it could be your imagination however cause the robot keeps going forward to deliver the message you wrote.
Elsa:
Larzug speaks up "Look mam, I already told you we don't know anything about it and I was nice enough to tell you where to look for better information, I don't know how else to help you. Now leave and have a good day." The other patrons look at you quietly disapproving all this. Make a perception check on the customers for me if you will.
Luke:
His eyes water a bit and says "the Boys are dead? That... I'm so sorry Luke" He rolls up his sleeve and shows you a tattoo with the 2 stars that help you get to Neverland, and you know that only someone who has phisically been to Neverland would have that information. "That is a mighty good cause to share information with. I can't tell you how sorry I am friend. The people from Neverland and especially Pan are like family to me." he stares at a bottle and takes it off a shelf, it says "Fairy Dust Ale" on the label and most importantly says "Made in Neverland." he stares at it for a minute and is taken by a sadness that is visible even to you. He speaks up after a bit "Could you tell me what you know so far Luke? What did the Lost Boy tell you exactly? That is the price for my information... more information."

Hathi gives the slightest nod to each person that acknowledges him, but keeps moving forward. He is briefly curious about the Peter Pan and Tinkerbell comment, but pushes it out of his mind knowing that his new assignment will give him the information required to do his job. If it has to do with these rumors, so much the better, but if not it's no use speculating.
When he gets to the training grounds, he finds a sturdy looking tree, pulls out the new greataxe, and tests the balance in his hands. He nods approvingly and inspects every inch, running his fingers lightly down the blade and getting familiar with it. When he's satisfied, Hathi takes a two-handed swing at the tree.

Not quite used to the weapon, Hathi's first swing goes wide and he loses his balance for a minute. He regains his composure and swings again.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Sorry, I promise I'm not manipulating the rolls! I just don't know how all this works yet. Since I'm taking swings, I was trying to do it all in one post, but you can't see your roll results until it's saved, which I know now.
Hathi is starting to get frustrated and feels the rage inside him bubbling to the surface. "Not yet," he murmurs to himself, then closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and counts to five. He swings again. 8
OOC: In response to the "Goddamn this place is weird". Welcome to my mind hahah.
Redek lights his cigarette and stares into the distance in this run down part of the Soldier District and you reflect on that phrase you said earlier "...It's almost as if this place was made for kids" and you see the exact opposite in front of you. You see clearly marked brothels that say "All shapes, sizes and races available!" you see dealings in alleyways that look suspicious, you see a couple of young kids (one animated car toy, one small toaster and a soldier toy that is missing a leg) that have a sign in front of them saying "We need Dust to live, Please help". You drag your cigarrete in thought and as you are finishing you hear loud steps in the distance and they are approaching.
Sully:
You pick up the pace making a run for Nocturnus, but as you go further and further Trixie gets weaker and weaker. Wheezing and coughing as you trud along until finally she wheezes to you "Stop! Stop Sully... Please". And waits for you to make a stop while she pants and barely holds on to conciousness. You could keep going and try to get to a doctor or you could stop and hear what she has to say.
Elsa:
As you ask people about Arendelle and Anna what you see on people is not disgust, or anger or any accusatory looks towards you whatsoever. Actually what you do see is a distinct lack of reaction toward those words and you know for a fact people would know those names. Arendelle was...a major city in the Past District. But the way people react when you say those words is almost as if they had no clue of what you are even talking about.
Hathi Jr.:
OOC: No worries about the dice rolls friend hahahah it's kinda of confusing in the beginning.
You strugle a bit with the axes wait and how to hold it, but eventually you muster your strength and get a decent grip and land a clumsy but efficient strike on the tree cutting it clear in half. As it falls down the electricity from the axe buzzes through you giving you a sense of excitement. However you were out here for a while trying to get a grip and a decent strike that when you look up to the sun to see the time you have a horrible realization. You are late. And you need to rush to the bar before Major Calhoun comes to claim your head for her mantle!
Cheshire:
You enter the Cat's Nap and see a beautiful young white haired female cat standing behind the welcome desk. She eyes you with her tail flickering and says "My, my, my what do we have here? Hey babe,
Got a new work assignment. Rounding up all the strippers in the city for a breast inspection.
Ill try not to enjoy it.
Don't wait up for me tonight
