You sense a powerful spell being prepared by her as she starts to mutter words in her language, the trees bow by the sheer pressure this encantation is causing. You run from this place straight to Nocturnus as you go you look back one last time as you are far away and see birds flying away and a sudden silence... before a giant explosion of pink smoke that forms into a heart as you run from your little friend you feel a sudden relief as if something in you tells you that she is okay.
You make it to Nocturnus... Make a perception check with disadvantage.

You go to your room and it's a cats dream, It has a scratching post, a saucer for milk, an assortment of toys, a confy bed fit for a king and most importantly a single cardboard box that intrigues your feline senses. You head into a deep slumber and have a dream. You are in a room with two chairs, one opposite to the other. You take a seat and arms spring up holding you in place, in front of you now is Bill Cypher. He sips out of a teacup and the tea goes right through him. "So where are you heading *****cat? I thought you were gonna stay in the woods forever kittycat!" he floats towards you and grows 5 times his size and grows red and says "Remember you and your powers belong to me!" and the room catches fire as he laughs and leaves you to burn.
You jump awake falling off the bed in the process, luckily for you you always fall on your feet.

Please players describe your characters to each other! Redek You have just shaked 'hands' with Hathi Jr even though he extended his trunk to you as he is a full fledged elephant. You each feel a deep sense of respect and recognise each other as fellow Soldiers that serve the realm. You guys go back inside to find Major Calhoun and the bartender (he is a 3 to 4ft tall lego man) taking turns throwing knives blindfolded at a young soldier that Redek recognises as Jim Hawkins tied up and also blindfolded with a target above his head (Hathi, Jim looks like a kid that is about 15 years old, he has two guns on each hip and a saber by his side, your eyes are immediately drawn to his pin which places him as a trainee for the royal guard).
A parrot screams out " Skraa place your bets. How many rounds until Jim chickens out or gets hit. Skraa".

You see him pause for a second and you hear an inner more robotic voice say muffled (as it's in his body) say "searching". He stands there for a minute until finally he speaks up with his smooth voice "Seems my personal information is lacking in this specific area, but nothing to fear follow me to our state of the art computers to make your search. The only rule is that there is no food or drink at the terminal madam, but seeing as you have none.... come this way" and he wheels off infront of you gracefully almost as if he was floating. He gestures you to follow.

Redek is 6'4 with a constant blonde brownish beard and matching hair. He is in his mid 30's but the sun, alcohol, and tobacco have aged him considerably. He wears cheap chain mail which protrudes from the various holes and tears in his green and grey town guard tabard.

He is adorned with weapons. A pistol on one hip, a cudgel on the other, a sword and shield strapped to his back, a handful of throwing knives and a pair of hand axes.

He is overweight however, and does not appear to have the greatest levels of energy about him. Perhaps he's done too much standing and not enough running. 

Redek says nothing, but smiles as calhoun drives blade after blade into the wall surrounding the boy. 

Hathi Is 8 feet tall and 400 pounds. (He is actually bipedal.) You've already noticed one of his greataxes, but he's carrying another, as well as a bow, javelins, and a dagger hanging at his waist. He doesn't tend to have much of an expression on his face, and his only reaction to what Major Calhoun and the bartender are doing is to ask Redek, "Is this standard for new trainees?"

Redek stares on, his chain smoking uninterrupted. "Not sure, but if someone doesn't take their clothes off by the end im gonnna be really disappointed." Looking around for a few moments, Redek loses his patience. 

"Ms. Calhoun," Redek puts a soft hand on her shoulder. "I believe your 'man' is here."

"Madam Darta, nice to meet you!" Zagga says with a short bow. "I'll take him there, would you mind pointing me in the direction of the bar?"

Sensing the change, or rather the new presence replacing that of 'Pop', Tik-tok does not acknowledge it externally. Instead he accepts as if there was nothing amiss. "I accept the task of finding this Archimedes, following which I shall consider our transaction complete."

"I take my leave." Tik-tok stated his intention as a farewell before turning and exiting the shop. Once outside, he will conduct a search for the quickest route to the Wild District. 10 ((OOC: Assuming it was a nature roll, but let me know if it should be something else))

Your vision grows darker and darker and the last thing you see is a sign that says "Welcome to Nocturnus- Where the night is always young" and you only see that sign because you ran into it almost knocking it down. Looking behind you in the distance it is still daylight (although dwindelling), but for some reason here it is pitch black as if it was a moonless starless night. You here the hoots of owls and the caws of ravens.
And with your perception you hear noises coming from inside a building a couple blocks from here that sounds like a party is happening. You also hear a snake hissing somewhere in the dark,

"My name is Duchess, it is a pleasurrr to meet you. Come to my inn anytime and I will always have milk available forrrr the handsome Cheshire" She licks her paw giving you a wink.
You set out and from here Town square is a fairly straight shot. You get there and see this amazing Square is packed with tecnology meets wild (picture zootopia) with trees and buildings becoming one, animals walking on their hind legs and intermingling with each other regardless of race. You even see a lion and sheep walking as a couple. This place is paradise for all sentient and even non sentient animals. There are plenty of shops and one of the biggest buildings you see is not a building at all but a giant tree that was made into a library.
Roll a Survival or Investigation check to see if you can spot or figure out where the Gold Mine is.

Calhoun turns to Redek with her knife ready to be thrown at him "God dammit don't you see..." She takes her blindfold of and sees Hathi and sighs "Ugh fine untie Jim. Here is the bet money Banjo" she hands what looks to be about 20 jewels to Banjo the bartender. He grabs a different head for his body from behind the bar (as he is a Lego man) and places it on and this one has a smile on it and says "Always a pleasure little missy". Calhoun turns around and points a finger at his one good eye (the other has been scratched off) "Careful with what you call me there pal, don't make me make you blind".
After the exchanged she unties and takes the blindfold off Jim saying "Hey at least you didn't piss yourself like the first time we did this." She turns to both Redek and Hathi Jr saying "Come to the booth guys and ermmm I guess...." She looks at Hathi and then yells to Banjo "Hey Banjo ya got any larger seats for my recruit here." He brings out a bigger chair for Hathi and puts it by the booth. This bar now seems 3 times more crowded than it was before but not yet at capacity.
Calhoun sits putting her feet up on the table saying "So I guess you soldiers met already?"

She points it out to you and it is fairly close you are outside the bar and you see the Bartender which is a dwarf talking to only one customer on the inside. Do you rush right in or do something else? Archimedes is not in peril at this moment he is just very weak.

OOC: Nature roll is completely fine. Especially with that roll.

As you leave Pop in his normal voice screams out "Go to The Gold Mine bar. He will be there with his old friend called Barkeep. The bar is in Town square." As he says that name your interior AI says " Calculating route to Gold Mine" and it pulls up a straight route for you that would take most people about 3 to 4 days, but you will be able to get there in about 2 and a half. Your power levels show that you have about five days of battery power, however if you go without stopping you know that your battery usage will not be optimal. Does Tik-tok, just go straight there or does he stop at inns or maybe try to camp along the way? 

He takes you to a room filled with super advanced computers where the screen is a hologram and it can be used by touch but there is also keyboard and mouse at the front of these screens, I think Elsa would be a bit overwhelmed by this, but the thirst for the knowledge of what happened would be so strong that it didn't matter. You sit down and the screen says "Welcome... traveler" and you hear the robot that brought you hear say "Thats odd, it should say your name... oh well if you need anything there is a button to call me. I am at your humble service. Just remember no foods or drinks in this area. Happy searching..." you then here the same Mickey mouse recording from before, but coming from him " If you believe it, it will happen hoo-ha (mickeys laugh)." 

It was embarrassing when Hathi first became a soldier, the amount of times special accommodations had to be made for his size. But you get used to it, and there are odder things about people than size...changing out your head for instance.

Hathi says a soft, "Thank you," to Banjo for the chair and sits down. He glances at Redek and responds, "Yes, ma'am. We just met outside the bar. He said that we will be assigned together?"

You light a torch you see for a brief second a tavern, then you hear several hisses and growls and feel several eyes lurking in the deep turn towards you. Within a brief second a bat flies over your torch swiftly and purposefully blows your torch out that extinguishes with a sizzle and a trail of smoke. You feel the eyes piercing through you from several directions watching and waiting for your next move.

As you do that you see the letterings for the Gold Mine a block or two away. As you pass a dark alley way you hear a voice say "Hey kitty cat you wanna see something real funny? I got plenty of tricks and other stuff that you might be interested in. Just come down this alley and lets have some fun." You see a figure in the alley, but you cannot see who they are or what they are either.

She smiles and says "Yes love this man is called Redek and he has proven himself quite a bit to Jim who brought him to my attention" Jim perks up extending his hand to you Hathi and says "Names Jim Hawkins Pleasure to meet you Hathi Jr. I've heard a bit about your story... I'm sorry you had to deal with that father of yours" He looks at you a bit and then continues "Anyways... this old man sure showed some thieves what a guard can do when they act fast! I thought he was gonna drop dead from all the excitement.". Calhoun looks to Hathi and says "Look this mission is quite big and I need young blood that i can trust. So when I say I vouch for someone I hope that you trust me... please" for a brief moment Calhoun seems serious and not the 'I'll stab you in the face serious' that she usually has, but a 'I need this to work' kind of seriousness about her. She continues "I wont force you to work together so this is your last chance to decline. But know this... declining this mission is declining the chance to save this kingdom entirely."

You take a deep breath asking your question. The computer shows a loading screen that says "searching". After several moments it says "One Result" and it pulls up a book called "Lost Cities" by author Arin Dale. The following info also appears: Year Published= 400 (current year is 402); Copies Sold= 1; Author's other works= N/A; Author's Residence= Unknown; Copy available at= The Wild Library.

Hathi shakes his hand, but does not react to the comment about his father. It was nice to hear people openly agreeing with his perspective on the colonel's capabilities, but he'd learned long ago to keep a straight face at any mention of him. He carefully listens to Calhoun's words. He is beyond curious about what this assignment will be and doesn't want to miss a thing she says. "No one would question your judgement ma'am," Hathi responds quite sincerely, "It's an honor to be assigned and I will do my best to work with anyone you've chosen."
(As a note, he is in no way trying to brown nose.)

Upon calculating the route to the Gold Mine bar, Tik-tok tries to identify if there's any locations within Town Square where he would be able to recharge.

If so, he will begin to go straight towards the Gold Mine, without stopping.

If not, he will proceed, taking his time in order to maximize his battery, resting as necessary.
