Spinning off his stool with a flourish the cat person starts talking as if to a full audience “Apologies one and all. The feature creature here for a measure of pleasure is Cheshire!” As he announces his name his hands swirl and the crystal on his collar glows briefly as he bows a thunder of applause sounds.

(Minor Illusion to make the sound of applause)

You feel your circuits start to fry but are able to look away and keep your robotic mind from going down an infinite reasoning loop which would have eventually made your entire circuits go dead. As you look away a female slug person (unless I specify other wise all animals have human proportions) is now promptly behind the front desk as if she were there the whole time. She looks at you with a sweet smile and says in a New Jersey accent (no, New Jersey does not exist in this world) "Oh my gawd a shiny metal man. What can I do to help ya shiny man?"

The boar jolts up from his sitting/sleeping position grabbing his blade by instinct saying "i will murder you Bi.." and snaps from whatever he was about to say looking straight at your pendant and gives you a bow "protector of the faith... I... I'm sorry for wakin up like that. I was havin one of me nightmares" he takes his hand to his own pendant and says " What is it that ye need valiant protector? I'll help ye anyway I can."

After spending the night at the bar itself, Banjo was kind enough to provide you soldiers with a free stay, you awake at dawn ready for your travels. You pack your things and head out, luckily for you guys Hathi knows the general direction and Redek has so much experience that by working together you arrive at Town Square in 2 and a half days where it would have taken most people 3 or 4 days of traveling. You found one inn that gave you free rooms as a token of gratitude for being soldiers and another that gave you a discounted room for 2 Jewels (whoever wants to pay let the other player know or you can split it, up to you guys.) for the night. You arrive at Town square somewhere around 6pm, it is a beautiful and bustling place where nature and technology fully mingle (Town square is located right at the border between the Wild District and the Future District). This place is paradise, there are beautiful tall buildings with vines and trees surrounding each corner that you could possibly plant something, there are bird people soaring through the air, other animals living their daily life as anthropomorphic beings, you even see animals of different species intermingling, you see a lion and sheep couple holding hands passing by. (imagine Zootopia basically) 
Is there anything you guys want to look at here or do you go and try and find the 'Gold mine', because as much as you do know more or less the location this is a huge city and you have no clue where it exactly is.

Archimedes says to Zagga "I have never seen this feline fellow whooot. And me and Barkeep probably know all of the animals from the Wild District so our friend here whoot must be from somewhere else.". Cheshire does his introduction with loud applause that (I imagine, correct me if I'm wrong Cheshire) that even though is magical it just sounds like a live audience recording from a bad sitcom. Cheshire as you introduce yourself you notice that the Barkeep's eyes are no longer white, they just look like a normal persons eyes now... except when you say your name, for a brief moment his eyes turn bright white again when you say your name.

Cheshire make a perception and Arcana check for me. Zagga you can make those checks as well if you think you would be paying attention to the Barkeep while Cheshire introduced himself.

The young woman graciously takes your Jewels and gives you a key to a room saying "Merci mademoiselle. Zank you for staying at ze Ship Royale". And even though you got the cheapest room this place is amazing, you could probably sleep 4 people in here, there is waters on the counter, a tub that has whirlpools in the shower, it is straight up gorgeous. So you have a very good rest and even feel that your magic seems a bit calmer inside of you today, it could be your imagination, but you do feel good.

When Redek says that he will pay, Hathi will simply nod and say, "Thank you, sir."

At Redek's suggestion to check with the town guards, "Agreed. We need to get to the Gold Mine as soon as possible. That sounds like the most efficient way to find the information."

Investigation check to find someone to talk to: 20

Do we have a map? I'd probably ask if there is a map of the immediate area as well. I'm totally picturing a Disney World map since it's a Disney campaign, but I get that's probably not how it works. :)

You spot that his emblem is different than yours it has no gold adornments and seems to be made from some cheaper materials. You would know that this kind of necklace would be worn by a believer and not a protector (i.e not a monk, cleric or paladin) you also get a sense that this specific version of necklace was only given to a certain group of believers ,but can't quite remember it's history. He says "Well mate this is a dingy bar with a barkeep, but if ye are talking about The Barkeep than he is in Town Square mate. Thats about a days travel from ere with those big legs of yours ye should be there in no time innit."

Cheshire:

You spot that when his eyes glow that bright white it seems like he is searching for something (no ill intent is coming from him) and you notice that for a brief moment as he searches for something he frowns and seems to be aggravated with something. As for magic wise you can tell that this is a very powerful, and yet innate, spell that he is using and you don't think you have ever heard of or seen such a spell.

Zagga:

Waiting for your roll if you still want to make it.

You are walking and all of a sudden you are joined by an all too familiar voice "Hey tuts where are ya headed in such a hurry. At least ya look less stressed out than yesterday" the rat as he walks along side you as you make your way to toward your goal. It is about a 2 or 3 day walk from here so make a survival roll with advantage (since you have the map). And let me know how you are traveling (do you camp? stay at inns? or gain levels of exhaustion to keep going through the nights).

OOC: You do not have a map of this area yet. Hathi you know the lay of the land mostly but Town Square is such a large place that it's hard to know all it's twists and turns.

With that ****in nat 20. while you guys are searching for someone to ask about the bar you just happen to spot it across the road. It is a tiny and dingy place with one of the letters from the sign barely holding on 'Gold Mine' it reads. Inside you all see the silhouette of at least 3 people. And notice the atmosphere inside seems tense even looking in from the other side of the street.

At the sound of the slug-woman's voice, Tik-tok turned away from the mind-boggling (or in his case circuit-switching) map.

"I request the service of 'checking-out' these informational materials," he says pointing at the book and pamphlet. "What are the requirements and restrictions of the process? I will assess if the potential benefit of the information is worth the imposition it may put on my time."

After watching it for a moment, Hathi says, "Well, let's go see what we can find out." He walks in, takes a look around, then walks up to the bar and sits down. He'll order a drink if Redek doesn't, but he has a feeling that Redek will, otherwise just a water. He'll also ask the bartender's name.

OOC: What time of day is it roughly? And I'm so happy about the nat 20! My other rolls on here have been complete trash. 

“You have the most peculiar eyes Barkeep. You seem not to have found what you seek. Perhaps I can help?”

"Of course hun how long do you want that book for? The pamphlet is free for anyone to take big robot man. But the book is only free to take for a week any longer than that you will have to pay a fee for each extra day dralin" She bats her eyelashes that have heavy masquera on them as she talks to you" And what is a handsome robot like you doin in the Wild District? It's been quite some time since I had a visitor like you here."

"Ey big guy" He puts his hoof on your shoulder "take a breath lad. Ey Timon get this man a room 'es a follower of the faith" the bartender (apperently his name is Timon) says in a voice that kinda sounds like gilbert godfrieds voice "Alright pumba take em up there." he tosses a key to your warthog friend.
"Names Pumba lad let's get you some rest and we can talk tomorrow ay? I'm ere everyday with my lad Timon. We can help ya we always help those of the faith" He puts your arm over his shoulder and even though he is about a foot or two shorter than you he takes all your wait on him and takes you up to a small yet comfortable room. "Look it sounds like somethin big is goin on with you so gather yer thoughts and tell us all about it tomorrow. do ye need any food or liquids before sleeping lad?"

Hathi jr. & Redek:

Redek before entering you get a feeling that the tension is coming from a cat person that is sitting across the bartender with a milk mustache and an empty saucer in front of him. As soon as both of you enter I think the whole bar would look at you. In this bar is a young wizard (Zagga), a cat person that has a smile that is larger than it should be on his face (Cheshire), the bartender which is a bold dwarf that is definitely heavy and peeking from his shirt is the bottom of a scar on his large stomach, and finally an owl (which is the actual size of an owl...which is weird in thisworld because unless I specificly say so most anthropomorphic animals have human sizes and proportions)that turns to you and is the first to talk.

Cheshire:

"hmm Don't worry about that feline friend. Was just checking something." He says in a monotone voice looking to you (with normal eyes) with an unbreaking stare "So the day has come where The Hatter has sent someone to come and take his precious cup back. I was wondering how much time I had left..." as he seems like he is gonna say something else two more people enter this bar and you get a feeling that even with this little amount of people this bar is already getting full. You see they walk in, a Human and an antropomorphic Elepahnt.

These new travelers walk in and Archimedes gives a quick nod to the bartender as if saying 'I got this' and welcomes the guests "Hello there travelers and whoot might you be? Come take a seat I will serve you as the owner is currently.... um busy whoooot. What can I get you?" he looks a bit nervous, but you get a feeling he has done this before at least.

"Still cold huh tuts. Look I get it I'm a rat you are royalty of course you ain't like me, but if ya keep ignoring people like me you will never find what you're looking for..." as you continue to walk away he says "Ah forget it then ice queen. Hey just say hi to my cousin Fluffybottoms if ya bump into him will ya? I'll be here in the Future Dsitrict if ya ever want to try and be nice" he stops following you. You can make it to the  Library in 2 and a half days fromhere if you stop at ins take out 3 Jewels from your inventory.

Cheshire turns and looks over the new comers before looking back to the Barkeep. “If you’d like you could return it yourself. Hatter mentioned expecting you to visit.” He then wipes the milk from his lip with the back of his hand.

Hathi is an 8-foot, 400-pound bipedal elephant. He is wearing a simple brown tunic and has no shortage of weapons. His face tends to be expressionless and his body language indicates that the human that walked in with him is his superior.

Hathi waits while Redek orders his beer, then says, "I'd like a water, if you don't mind, and do you have food at this establishment?" He looks at the seating at the bar...does it look like it will hold him?

Unphased by, and unresponsive to, the slug-woman's flirtatious banter, Tik-tok responds monotonely from the standpoint of purely a transaction. "I have come here for the charge and seeking insight. I will take the pamphlet then, and acquire the book for the week. What is required to make this so?"
