“That’s true,” Hathi says thoughtfully. “I’m not sure why else their clothes would be here without them, but regardless, we have been tasked with finding Pan and it seems as though those who sent us would see our mission as having greater importance than indulging in pleasures. We should keep looking, but take the clothes with us. Ready?” Hathi only waits a moment before heading toward the path that he noticed as well, his axe still in his hand and his eyes peeled for danger.
As Hathi moves through the tight passageway you begin to see a light at the end of this passageway that flickers as you get closer. The atmosphere is still dark and damp, but seeing a light for the first time since being in the restricted section gives all of you a sense of hope, but also a sense of being tense as the source of light could mean more fighting.
Cheshire stays toward the back of the group humming quietly then starts to sing softly “And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came!” Other wise walking quietly into the unknown (Sorry for taking you line Elsa)

Hathi holds a hand up to indicate for everyone to pause behind him. He whispers, "Light up ahead, might be more fighting, be ready for anything." He continues forward and when it seems like he's close enough, he'll try to take a peek without moving into where the light is.
Unsatisfied with the lack of context to what they had gleaned from the large tome, Tiktok proceeded onward with the group; staying towards the middle of the party's procession.
When hathi holds a hand up, while although the meaning registers with Tik-tok, the mechanical man does not acknowledge it and continues walking.
"The only threat we've faced in here did not use illumination. And I use the term 'threat' with a very broad definition of the word. That being said, this location has shown us no reason to assume light signifies a threat, any more than darkness."
Without the presumption of being rude, Tik-tok walks beyond, toward the light.
As everyone approaches the light you find yourselves in a room that is full of papers on the floor, one flickering light over an overburdened table (stacked with books) and strange powder on one corner of this table. You all feel a sense of darkness.
Hathi:
You see markings under the table that seem either infernal or not from this plane (definitely get some evil vibes here). You see an envelope under all the books that is sticking out and you see a the letters "ST" it seems there is more letters but the books obscure it.

Hathi will investigate the envelope, moving whatever books out of the way, possibly making a stack for Tik Tok to look through. He also points out the markings to TikTok. “See if you can make anything of that.”
Tik-tok go ahead and make another investigation check for the books Hathi presented to you and go ahead and do it with advantage (I'm treating it as Hathi giving you the Help action).
Cheshire:
Even with that low roll you feel that either it is the same as the powder from before or at least extremely similar.
Hathi:
You pull the envelope from under the book and see int says "From: Beast" and there is a letter inside that once you start trying to read it you realize its in a language you do not recognize, but there are a few words in common here. "Pan... Danger... Meet... Tavern of Heroes."
Elsa:
You pick up a few papers and a lot of them seem at random but you begin to see a pattern. A lot of them talk about 2 things. One is mentioned on a few pages, but never is gone into detail as "The Blank Era". The other trend you see is the title of the books that the pages you picked up are from, The titles all follow a pattern "Lost Cultures", "Lost Languages", "Lost Races" and so on. but one title that is NOT in the mix is the book you search for "Lost Cities".
Sully:
You look around and even without much of a sense for magic you can tell by the drawings and runes etched on the table and floor that this place was being used by a powerful powerful magic caster. And with your religious knowledge, these runes are strictly prohibited and go against not only your deity but all the others that you are aware of. They are definitely of either infernal origin or of some plane similar to that. with that high roll you also see something that is VERY familiar to you. The Powder that Cheshireis investigating seems to look similar to what Trixie's fairy dust looked like. Also you spot mounds of straight pixies dust all over the room, looking close under these mounds you also see the smallest traces of blood.

Sullynods, "Aye, pixie dust. Such large amounts, and the blood beneath it, I fear for whoever or whoevers it belonged to. Something really, really bad was done here recently."

Sticking the two items of cloth in her pack, Elsa follows after the others.

Cheshire makes his way over to the powder taking a closer look at it.
Elsa picks up some of the papers on the floor, taking a look at them.
Tik-tok examines the books, looking over the titles and pursuing any that may be open already to specific pages.
Anyone who is interested make an investigation check for the specific things you are looking at.

Tik-tok investigation: 9
((OOC: the dice are not my friends.))
Cheshire investigation: 5 (While I’ll take any info I can get I’m specifically wondering if it matches the other powdered substance i procured)
Hathi will investigate the envelope, moving whatever books out of the way, possibly making a stack for Tik Tok to look through. He also points out the markings to Tik Tok. “See if you can make anything of that.”

“I’ve seen this powder before does anyone know what it is?” Cheshire looks around for something to scoop the powder into.
Sully nods, "Aye, pixie dust. Such large amounts, and the blood beneath it, I fear for whoever or whoevers it belonged to. Something really, really bad was done here recently."
