Wolfstine moves back to the group "We have a group of eight kobolds and four cultist. They've set up a camp to eat, we can ether shadow em or attack but It'll take skill to get in close. What contributions can you guys give to this?"
Fargen listens intently at the scouting report."Well, my hammer is great for smashing kobold skulls. How's about we wait for their next patrol and pick them off? Or draw some away from camp... No reason to risk the numbers if we can divide and conquer."
"I prefer to deal with my foes looking them in the face."Thufir says, adding, "Though I do understand that the fewer I need to deal with in that way the better. Deal with them as you will, and I will be here to back you up should any get close."
As you discuss this, you notice a familar halfling with blue hair walking toward you. Alongside him is a goblin woman with curly purple hair and scalemail.
They both stay quiet as Jack approaches. "Going to the hatchery, huh? I'll tag along with ya. Looks like you have some stragglers up ahead. Oh, this is Rainbow, she specializes in killing undead."
Rainbow nods. "Morning, everyone."

Thufir looks down to the two newcomers and says, “Glad to have the help. Though, do you expect there to be undead? And… what else do you know of their hatchery?” Knowing that they had only learned of the hatchery recently from what he was able to get from their prisoner, and had not had time to share this information with any of the Governor’s troops, he’s suddenly a bit cautious of the halfling. ((Insight 19))

Rainbow holds her arms up and takes a step to the right of Jack. "I'm just here to get some experience. When Jack told me you were dealing with cultists, I figured there would be some undead to tangle with."
OOC: Rainbow is a Bloodhunter Order of the Ghostslayer.
Thufir when you ask the question, Jack tilts his head. "Let's just say I have some personal stakes in this."
He then switches to Dragonic tongue. For Thufir and anyone else who speaks draconic.
Your kin put a lot of importance in family and I respect that. I'm just trying to rescue mine. If those were your kids the cult was holding, you'd do the same.

Wolfstine eyes go wide but then it looks like he's heard nothing at all He shrugs he replies in draconic flatly and quietly "You're a dragon?"
he looks towards the camp "Maybe we can get them here if we start our own camp fire and move about 30ft away from the fire hide and ambush them.." He looks around "Whos the bait."
"They're not likely to get past my armor and shield, much less if I ask for Moradin's protection. Besides, no respectable dwarf hides in a bush like some elf..."Fargen states. "I'll play bait."
Replying to Jack in draconic, Thufir says, “I have no brood of my own yet, though I do know something of their methods when it comes to children.”Then listening to Wolf’s question wonders the same, as he’s heard little of the Cult kidnapping non dragon-kin children.
Thufir then chuckles at his stout companion and says, “Would it be better to have two as bait? Or only the one to feign weakness?”
Wolfstine grins with longer canines than usual "You need to be the ambusher Thufir not the bait if you're the bait you'd scare away the fish being the bigger one. Besides what if one of the kobolds recognize you."
“Now bait, I can do. I have illusions at my disposal. If Thufir wishes to wait within the illusion, he can be both bait and trap.”
Waldeyr thinks for a moment. “Perhaps a wagon. Go stand there, I think I can hide one or two of you within the illusion. The cultists won’t know what hit them.”
He gestures towards a clear area, casting silent image as a horse and wagon begin to appear next to a series of boulders. He then sets about the noisy process of starting a fire.
(this is waiting for people to find a place to hide before beginning)
Wolfstine says to Rainbow "Try again or go wait by the fire." He dawns the cultist mask and robes and heads hurriedly towards the enemies camp he points towards the smoke of our campfire "We've got someone shadowing us! It's only two take them!" He draws one of his scimitars
The four cultists nudge the kobolds, who appear annoyed, to move forward. All eight kobolds rise up and begins to walk to the wagon with the cultists following behind them, keeping a safe distance while making sure the kobolds are essentially bait.
