Fargen perks up hearing the shield is magical, "I had a feeling." Fargen eyes the magical shield somewhat longingly, then lets out a sigh. "Wolfstine, you should take it. I'll be able to craft better armor and I've got protective magic. You'll not easily find better protection than a magical shield. The stronger the defense of the front-line fighters, the better."
Fargen pulls the rug back to see what the depression is underneath.
Wolfstine looks over the shield and takes it off its mount "Well unless our dragon friend here wants it I'll take it."He thinks to himself he hopes its not trapped or cursed as he straps it on
Fargen eyes the wizard at his suggestion and frowns. “Perhaps Wolf’s feathered friend can take a look so we know what we’re getting ourselves into. Wizards should not go first into unexplored areas, lest you have a death wish.”
Wolfstine stops before he touches the shield and quietly says "I guess she, or should I say we could do that. Waldeyr what kind of magic did this shield have on it?"
Fargen offers his opinion, "Abjuration, if I know my protective magic. But if you're watchful of some curse, it might radiate necrotic. If I can obtain a pearl, I can identify any magic item and unlock its secrets."
Fargen utters a prayer to Isabeau, "Go silently, as the way may be watched."
Once she travels through the tunnel and goes to the other side, here's what she sees immediately.
The room appears as a shrine to the five-headed dragon avatar of the goddess Tiamat. There are also busts of black dragon heads in the room, as well as the half-dragon Cyanwrath and two berzerkers.

Wolfstine moves away from the shield to the edge of the pit not knowing what kind of magic enchants getting out a rope Isabeau hops and holds on to the end of it and he lowers her down it he closes his eyes and lets his senses merge with Isabeau Stealth with the help action19
Wolfstine quickly comes out of Isabeau's senses and pulls her up he whispers "The room appears as a shrine to Tiamat. There is a statue of her and a few busts of black dragon heads there. But more importantly, Langdedrosa and two berserker barbarians. Cover the hole till we figure out what to do, a plan."
He tries his best to draw a map of the room. whispering "I guess the shield can wait for later, don't touch it till the mage can figure what school of magic it shows. I'm kinda worried about being fried cause of that image."
ooc: Can you give Waldeyr the school of magic the shield emanates please
Thufir grits his teeth and grips his sword hearing that the dragon is down there. He then says, “Langdedrosa is mine. Though I could use your shield Fargen.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wolfstine replies quietly "Waldeyr, Before or after it'll happen I guess I can take on one or two of the barbarians but if we take them out personal duel or not noble one We all should get a few licks in on the half dragon Thufir for this is a team effort. If I remember right Fargen said he was going to make his armor uncomfortable he best stay back then."
He thinks for a second again
"We're going to have to lure those two humans away" he looks at the hole and then tries to remember if the half dragon was to big for it. his owl flies over it then back
Fargen replies to Thufir, "What is better, to bless a few of us or shield you? Knowing there are stout guards, I will summon Mordain's hammer, as it will not require my concentration. After that, I can concentrate on a single spell so it should be well chosen. What is your plan for dealing with those guards?"
"Wolf, I doubt we're luring away the half-dragon's bodyguards away. We need to neutralize their offense or hit them hard and fast. What other ideas do you all have?"
OOC: It's Abjuration or whatever a +1 bonus would fall under.
Isabeau flies through the tunnel again. It's likely that it Cyanwrath could fit it if he was ducking his head. As the for the kobolds, they're in the room along with Jack and Rainbow.

He continue to speak quietly "I was thinking, as usual" He chuckles "That we use the terrain this tunnel would make them single file and block each other from attacking together"
He looks over "Best we guard that hole and keep an eye one the entrance while we decide Oh and Jack could you check to see if the shield is trapped please"
“Since we will be dealing with more than just the dragon perhaps blessing everyone is ok. Though I expect he was holding back last time, we should be ready.” Thufir says, impatient and ready to deal with their foes.
“I have… moments of clarity about the future. I know if I can hit our enemy there with a ray of necromancy, that it will shrivel his strength. He’ll be weak as a lamb.” Waldeyr is concerned still as he says this. “I’m not sure this fight is worth it. It might stir the hornets’ nest.”

OOC: Yes it is and the only thing radiating magic is the shield. Is anyone going to check the depression under the floor?

You find a trap door that when opened leads through a narrow tunnel big enough for someone to go through. The tunnel itself leads to the east.

Waldeyr will enter the trapdoor.

“The plan was to get the Kobolds out. Are the Kobolds past landedrosa?”
Waldeyr should get a school of magic from the shield with his detect magic @DM but I’m not sure that tells us enough to know whether to be worried.
