Standing and pushing in her chair she adds, "That ship was called the Hungry Sky, and their captain seemed more interested in the idea of having me aboard than yours. Now I see he may have had some other motive, and as such was less discerning, but yours seems to have dismissed me out of hand. We shall see about this." Walking after Eclipse, she calls out, "Oh good captain, it seems you have misread me. If perhaps someone could help you to the deck, I'll make clear my use, by challenging you to a duel!"
Jenaer calls out to Eclipse, “Ahh, captain, I’m afraid it would be incredibly discourteous to refuse a duel to our esteemed guest. Let us find a suitable space up on the deck.”

He says with a sly wink while finishing up his breakfast. "I think we might be heading that way as well, towards Gallows Glen. We heard tell about some slavers that way that we wanted to check out. Anything you might know about that?"

"Janear, have you ever done some pit roasting? I'm thinking we could dig some big pits, throw in the meat and cook it from the top. We used to that all the time when I was growing up when we had big celebrations. Should be easy to cook a large portion of this meat. We could sell some during a barbecue, and probably save some of it for us as well. I get the feeling that the captain wants to get rid of all this meat from his ship. Can't say I blame him." Tyrod says with a smile.

Tyrod- Sky-Pirates of Q’rath Set: Crew of the Reaver's Word
Eclipse has moved down toward the hold to examine the goblin meat which it seems he alone will have to deal with.
“A duel?” He laughs long and clear, and he imagines this scene mockingly:
‘Eclipse. “Certainly. There is an area right over here where we may cross blades. Please, after you.” He leads the lady to the opening of the furnace and says with a smile, “Fear not, the sun has broken from the clouds and it is unseasonably warm outside.” ‘
However, he thinks, ‘wait a moment, how is she ‘walking after Eclipse,’ is she blind or not?’
“In fact I suggest the following. Lady, you are forthright in your desire to prove yourself but circumlocutious as to your goals.
Let us look at the two sides of the coin. Suppose we duel and I best you. What does it matter to me, for you are blind. Suppose you best me in order to prove your value? How then can I allow you to join the crew of my ship when your very presence would only serve to vex me and lessen our morale?
No, it is indeed the plan of a child, with no goal you might desire in sight. I am indeed more likely to suggest you be thrown from the ship forthright, and at a great height to boot.
If on the other hand, you wish to serve on the crew perhaps you can simply say so, for in truth your desire would be greater than ours in that case and the necessity to prove your worth falls on your own shoulders, not ours.
if you wish to demonstrate your prowess, I am happy to watch. Perhaps Bazlachi would be a more apt partner for the dance though, for whether you win or lose, to face him would show courage at the least.”
I'd say those rolls prepare another 400 kilos, but the bulk is still there, and likely to rot now. The issue will be getting it off the ship. Tellura seems too distracted by the business with Eclipse to respond.
"The plan of a child? Can you dodge as well physically as you do rhetorically?" She draws a pair of stilettos from the shoulder pack, by the blades. "How is a captain's cowardice good for moral?" Crossing her arms, she strikes a contrapposto pose. "Accept the challenge or decline!"
"I'll just let you guys figure out this whole duel thing." Tyrod says as he hefts a shovel and heads off the ship to find somewhere to dig up for a BBQ pit.

Eclipse draws his rapier and dagger with incredible ennui, and stands ready, his eyes bright and tail twitching. He glares at Jenaer, as if to say, "Happy?," then brings his attention back to the elf.
"There once was a Lady from Gallows Glens..."he begins. "If you insist...EN GARDE!"

Jenaer shrugs obliviously at Eclipses look, smiling politely back at the Mawn. “I hope you enjoy your duel immensely. I must excuse myself, I need to assist Tyrod in the planning of this pit roast. Barbecues have always struck me to be quite barbaric, but this slow roasting method has always fascinated me.”
Knock-Out is a standard rule, so yes, that's viable.
Her Initiative is 19, so when she sees you move to strike she'll use her action; She raises her eyelids, revealing eye sockets containing, on the left, a clear class sphere, and on the right a glossy red orb etched with arcane sigil which flashes with a crackling red energy. She crosses her arms in a defensive gesture, and a momentary vermilion flicker crosses her form. Mage Armor.
She barely moves as the rapier and the dagger pass her by, then she comes in low with both stilettos, aiming for center mass. Attack: 18 Damage: 9 and Attack: 13 Damage: 3
" ' ...With double stilettos she dared to extend.' "
Staggering and getting light-headed as blood pours from his gut, soaking his shirt deep crimson, Eclipse catches the elf's left blade behind her guard, and using her momentum, shoves her behind him, then flips and lands on cat's feet for a deft lunge and parry:
Gha! [You] arrogant ball of [stuffing of dubious sanitation / prostitutes' douche-linens]!

Eclipse
The efl's left-hand stilleto, in a flash, stabs into Eclipse's shoulder and pulls back. Gulping for air and a bit wild-eyed, wondering if his signed crewmen were really going to allow this stranger to end his life, the mawn stands still for a moment, seeming to black out, then his eyes open, he croaks, spitting blood " ...'Technically topsy, yet simply not snappy,'... "and with a salute on the word "topsy," his rapier snaps down and unfurls out, and he then combat rolls forward and right, reversing his dagger grip in the process and slashing at the Lady's thigh on the word "snappy."
The gravity rapier lands and draws a snarl from Tellura, which turns to a shriek as the dagger does likewise. She falls to the deck of the ship, unconscious.
Watches her fall, and saluting again and coughing up blood, finishes his limerick: “...’She reach'd an untimely dead end.’***
He stands back, perhaps lowers himself onto a stool, grunting with pain, and waits for his guest to wake up, perhaps dabbing or staunching his wounds with a nice silk kerchief.
"Funny." He takes out his flask and offers it to Laitraxa, shuddering a bit in pain at the movement. He takes a swig. "But, no. She's not my type. Attractive enough, and certainly has the bad girl character I like. But no, I'm too vain, I need someone who can appreciate all of my qualities, not just my swagger. And my quick poetic mind. And my swordsmanship. And my incredible agility."He pauses for a moment, considering. "No, alas no." After a suitable length of time, he nudges Lady Tellura's foot with his own. "Wake up, princess." If she moves, he offers her the flask.

"What the!" says Eclipse, and shooting to his feet and backing up, in an instant he tips his flask forward and with quick back-and-forth movement, sprays out its contents to mark the location of the now invisible elf (hopefully!).
