Coming out from behind his rock after all is clear, Torman looks at the scene, trying to understand what the creatures were and what they were doing.He pulls out his tools then starts by sizing up the situation as a whole before moving on the a more thorough investigation.
He seems utterly absorbed in what he is doing; his tools shifting constantly in his hands as he moves around the room; one moment he is statue-still, then next he scurries to a seemingly random location before grunting and moving on, muttering to himself all the while.
