(after Torman), Gryrig will rush back to the boat. If he still has his action left (i.e. didn't have to dash), he will prepare his attack for when the Troll resurfaces.
(Just to check: the crew and we pulled the boat onto a thick ice float, no? So no chance for the thing to come up below the boat and poke holes into it to sink it? Gryrig doesn't fancy trying to get into this freezing water, so is hoping they don't have to chase it off underwater)
((Kat has likely come across trolls before, though not scrags. Looking to see how much she knows about the steps needed to put a troll down permanent-like. Nature: 25))
(( We can house 18 people; there's 5 of us...just going by the oars (28) I am skeptical that there are only 12 crew + Captain. but happy with whatever DM decides! ))
12 crew
The captain maneuvers the boat next to the sheet of Ice, the crew throws grappling hooks and scrambles on to the ice plane. Once you're off the boat, the crew haulsTheFrostskimmer far from the shore and sets up camp.
(How far from the shore is the boat? I would assume "far" is more than one Troll-dash distance? And presumably the ice is thick enough that we don't need to worry about it coming through the ice from below (i.e. too thick to pull of Azog's last trick in Hobbit's battle of the five armies))
Duncan hovers about 20 feet over the water where the shadow last appeared. He maintains a overwatch, ready to dash after the creature if it makes itself known.

Gryrig carries on going towards the ship. Once there he will join the Captain and the rest of the crew, and keep a close lookout for the beast to reappear - hoping that perhaps they have driven it off.

Fire or acid stops the trolls regeneration
Also, Scrags are amphibious (Captain obvious lol)
The troll surfaces on the edge of the Ice 200ft away and throws an Ice ball Attack: 22 Damage: 12 at the boat. Then reaches to break off another Iceball.
Each crew member has 20hp if it hits an ac of 15 one crew member is hit. The scrag is 200ft away do you have a reserved action thats effective?
Duncan’s readied Dash action goes off (he was over the water where the Skrag was last seen). With a fly speed of 30 feet, he closes by 30 feet. On his turn he moves and dashes, getting another 60 feet closer.

Not wanting to risk losing the boat -- or any of the sailors -- Torman flies to within 150' of the troll as flames gather around him before they concentrate into a tiny point of light that he throws toward the troll.
Gryrig carries on going towards the ship. Once there he will join the Captain and the rest of the crew, and keep a close lookout for the beast to reappear - hoping that perhaps they have driven it off.
(I'm assuming Gryrig reached the ship, or very near)
Gryrig's readied action is wasted as the Scrag surfaced too far away. He looks briefly at the stricken crewman, but has no healing magic so is unable to help at this time. He uses his broom (and dash action) to move 100ft (halfway towards it). While he does so, he shouts insults in every language he knows and gestures rudely at the troll. He doubts it speaks the right language, but hopes it'll get the gist that it's being taunted. (He hopes that this might draw the creature to attack him instead of the crew, as he's more likely to be able to protect himself)
The crew hearing the warnings gather longspears and cutlasses, then circle around the boat. The dark shadow disappears, far away from the boat.

(( If the dark shadow appeared sometime before the start of Torman's turn and was in range, then his readied attack goes off and misses ))
Torman continues to fly toward the boat and circles above it, flames once more licking his fingers. (( Attack: 15; Damage: 4 ))
He looks at the others and shrugs, "Scared it off?" he asks, his tone hopeful. More likely gone to get friends, he thinks.

Kat flying towards the ship if she's not there already, and holding a shot ready for an opportunity.
If it's possible for her to fly high enough up to take the hide action, I'd like to.
