While searching the ship he wonders aloud "Do you think this ship is in good repair? Maybe we should ask our captain if taking over this vessel would be a good idea. It seems to offer more shelter and has some weapons [is that a ballista on the map?] which may come in useful."
Gryrig also lands. "Phew. Those were pretty weird people, or creatures. I think we should proceed with caution. They seemed intelligent, not just animals, so maybe there are some traps for the unwary."
He takes a swig of hot Coffee from his magical endless bottle, and offers it to the others too. After that, he goes along with the rest, paying particular attention to anything that may look like a trap. Perception 8
The Captains quarters is covered in ice, group finds a hundred gold in the captains quarters frozen in an block of ice in an open chest upon a table, various cutlasses and scimitars in a rack on the wall. The captains log, lays shredded upon a desk, frozen and water-damaged, unreadable.
Azzure see's what looks like a large poster sized cabinet on the wall, behind the desk but its too shallow to hold much behind it.
You guys all also note a frozen figure in the bed, a human male, who's sightless eyes, look towards the roof in horror.
(unlike the picture, no books on the floor or bookshelf. The keg of Rum is there though, chilled.)
Once he is sure that there are no more enemies aboard, Torman moves cautiously into the room. He takes in what he can before beginning a methodical investigation, as he fidgets with a small magnifying glass.
Perception: 14+2 = 16 (passive 21)
Investigation: 21+1 = 22 (second roll if help: worse)

Gryrig will help the others melt or break the ice to get out the gold. After that, he's quite interested in the Rum barrel. He'll get a tiny bit out try try. Assuming it's nice, he tries to work out if the barrel is small enough to be carried back with them. If too big, he'll empty a water skin or bottle to fill up with rum instead.
Getting distracted by looking at the blades, Duncan finds nothing of interest/value in this room, somehow missing the fact that there is a check full of cold hard coin sitting in plain sight.

How, do you melt or break the Ice? The barrel is keg sized, small enough to carry, if you can get it off the table.

Torman You find the same as Azzure, you think with the maps scale, the Icon is about 20miles north of your current location
You also surmise that Prestidigitation would be the best to melt the ice enough to break things free.
Azzure looks in the chest, lighting a torch and using the heat to melt the ice. As he’s waiting for this to melt, he says “Guess we are headed 20 miles north of here. Should we look below, any lower in the ship?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
”Let’s check the whole ship and rest for the night before heading off further to the north. I don’t want to leave any surprises behind here to sneak up on us as we travel on,” suggests Duncan.

Gryrig agrees enthusiastically: "Yes, let's clear out the whole ship. Who knows what treasures they might have been transporting in the hold?!"
Gryrig will (hopefully together with the others) go down and search the lower deck, starting at 12, checking 9, and then heading aft searching the cargo and boxes for anything interesting. Last to check are 10 and 11s.

Duncan:
Gratefully accepting the hot coffee, Duncan sighs as it drives some of the numbing cold from his limbs.
”Yes, let’s sweep the ship level by level,” agrees Duncan, starting first to check the ‘bodies’ of the snowy crew for any items of interest.
Perception: Unable to parse dice roll.

Azzure opens the poster sized cabinet, investigating the room. He listens carefully for any sound of movement elsewhere in the ship.
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Azzure opens the cabinet revealing a map, one location circled in ink, written next to the circle is the name Maccath

Passively you all see the chest.

Torman assists in warming the ice, grumbling about the inefficiency while wishing he could remember more cantrips.
Ho nods as the others propose searching the rest of the ship. "Need something to calm us down after that ruckus, eh?"
