This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
...continued.
The other hobgoblin Grax runs toward Grix. "GRAX HELP GRIX! GRAX DEFEND."
The woman yells out to the men "COWARDS! DEFEND THE HOLD!" she runs towards the action while taking her longbow from her back. She fires two arrows towards the skeletons. Aiming for the other one if the one diagonal of Grix gets killed. The skeletons will have half cover for these shots due to that angle and Grix's body being in the way.
Attack: 21 Damage: 10
Attack: 5 Damage: 8
the first arrow chips a bone chunk off, the second arrow hits the wall.
The boss yells at Willard and the man in front of him who wants to run "We are NOT leaving the goods unattended while these abominations ruin it all! FOOLS! GET BACK HERE AND DEFEND!"
And he moves closer to the action.
Ash is up!
Korrik you can change your move if you'd like, or keep it as a hold!
((I think ‘get back here and defend’ was an instruction not to run for the boat but to come back and fight. I think. Rather than for anyone else to fall back. But may have read it wrong))
Did Ash whisper to Ess to actually run away with her if someone comes, or did she give that specific of instructions?
I am thinking I should roll to determine what happens with Ess. Maybe if he sees someone he'll just react nervously and swing the sword instead of dashing away.
I am meta-foreshadowing something of course, haha!
((damn Grix is a forking hero!!))

*sorry, the boss also moved his glowing orbs so he can see as he moves.
Map is re-updated.
((Switch it to a held dart to toss.))

((It was how I understood it first read as well but re-read it and became less sure. Never hurts to ask!))
((yup please ask if anything seems unclear! The boss wants everyone to stay and defend the goods. It's just the two coward men who wanted to leave.))
Ash holds, ready to dash away if need be. Korrik has a dart readied as he watches this play out.
The skeletons clatter and shift about. The one that is currently in melee range moves down as a fresh one moves into melee range of Grix.
The first one swings its sword: Attack: 19 Damage: 8
Grix doesn't have a chance to yell. The sword catches his neck, and he falls to the ground, blood spewing out of the wound.
The skeletons now pour over the dead hobgoblins body and further into the cave.
Ben yells to the two cowards,
"Come on ya forking pansies! We ain't gonna lose to a bunch of bones."
He moves up behind the boss and readies his crossbow.
A fresh skeleton makes it to Grax and swings its sword: Attack: 15 Damage: 4
it was rushing in too fast and misses.
The hat skeleton starts to laugh. "Yeeesssssss. YEEESSSSSS!!!"
Next round: Men, Ess, Busren, Grax, Women, Boss, Ash, Korrik, Skeletons
The top man moves behind the boss. "Ok! Ok! I'm stayin' I'm stayin."
The bottom man dashes back into the passageway, coming back to the action, cursing all the while.
Ess holds action, listening to the combat just north of him.
Billard is up!
Map is updated.
*Billard post cross, you guys are too fast for me! Updating.
actually Ben, the man is there, where do you want to go instead?
((North of the man? Does he have a shot? If so he purposely misses.))
To confirm:
Ash has a dash readied.
Ess has a longsword swing readied. He's been fidgeting with it for a few rounds.
Korrik has a dart readied.
All correct?
Did Ash whisper to Ess to actually run away with her if someone comes, or did she give that specific of instructions?
I am thinking I should roll to determine what happens with Ess. Maybe if he sees someone he'll just react nervously and swing the sword instead of dashing away.

((Ben's updated action in before the questions!))
