"Dessa två kommer att göra tillräckligt buller för att väcka de döda," Ragnar says in Ygdridanian. "Om vi inte kommer för långt ifrån dem kan vi använda dem som bete för att locka allt som rusar här inne."
Translation:
"Those two will make enough noise to wake the dead," Ragnar says. "If we don't get too far away from them, we can use them as bait to lure anything that's prowling around in here."
"Ja, vil være mye bedre enn at vi to høres ut som en haug med gryter som slås sammen." Erika says, clinking her armored gauntlet against her scale chestplate.
"Yeah, will be way better than the two of us sounding like a bunch of pots being banged together."
Looking to Ted and Glint, "You two keep a clear eye out. Call out if you need a wall of steel between you and anything that scares you."
She then moves with Ragnar, helping him with the search for artifacts in the library (assuming perception).
Glint responds to Ted's questions, "Ah, you appear to be a man of immaculate taste as well as a fellow keen mind Mr. Dreadbane. If you give me a moment, I'll show you."
Ted watches as Glint lays his thieves tools out on the ground one by one. Glint picks up two rocks next to him and begins to carve inscriptions into the rocks, infusing the rocks with the power of sending stones for the day. Glint tosses one of the stones over in Erika's direction as she and Ragnar are leaving. The gnome shouts at Erika, "Use this to contact us if you run into trouble. You can only use it once per day so save it for something important." The other stone Glint places into his pocket.
Glint next removes his waterskin from his pack and hands it over to Ted. "Feel free to have a drink while I work. No matter what this container has to be empty for my last trick to work!"The container that Glint hands over to Ted is only ever used as the base object for an alchemy jug infusion. Unfortunately, the gnome has forgotten what liquid he had summoned within the jug last.
Continuing his work, Glint next turns to his immovable rod and quickly murmurs words in Gnomish over it. There does not appear to be any physical change applied to the rod, but it has been converted into Glint's arcane firearm.
After working on the rod, Glint next removes some metal shards from his pack and begins to work them with his tools. Ted watches as the gnome quickly assembles a tiny clockwork dragon. Glint speaks as his hands move swiftly assembling the creation. "This is a bit of a lost art that we Dreidylen's have unearthed in our travels. Ancient books refer to these objects as eldritch cannons. The magic that holds such objects together is a bit weak, it will only last an hour. Additionally, such objects are susceptible to being damaged." As the gnome completes the tiny clockwork dragon he stands on his tip-toes and stretches his arms as high as he can reach in order to place the tiny object upon one of Ted's shoulders. The small claws from the creation dig into Ted as the object attempts to steady itself and not fall. "You won't be able to control this on your own, but between the two of us we can make it appear as if you have the power to summon dragon fire!" With a snap of Glint's fingers a blast of arcane fire quickly gathers within the tiny clockwork dragon's mouth on Ted's shoulder and blasts forward into a small cone.
Finally, Glint motions to Ted for him to return the waterskin. Taking his tools, Glint carefully begins to etch runes into the side around the cork of the waterskin, careful not to break the leathery sides of the waterskin. After a few moments of work, the waterskin is infused with the power of an alchemy jug. "You never know, this unassuming waterskin may just come in handy today."
Glint doesn't seem to remember how he got to the library but for fear of being recaptured has kept out of sight.
Zira seems amused by Glint's gadgets while Gen-ga is wary.
"We're together yes," Gen-ga says to Zira who nods.
The leaders go towards the western direction.

(Glint and Ted will choose direction last, since they stayed back a bit.)
Ted's eyes are alight as the tiny clockwork dragon hops on the opposite shoulder to Echo. "Where have you been all my life Glint! These others, they're all a little.... stuffy you know? Now we can have some REAL fun!"
Ted gulps at the liquid in the container (What is it lol?) before passing it back.
Ragnar watches Gen-ga and Zira head off into the library.
He looks down a couple of aisles, then over at Erika and shrugs.
"Much easier to know what's valuable when someone is clutching it and trying to keep you from taking it," Ragnar says with a laugh. "But I guess any direction is as good as another."
He starts in the direction away from the entrance (north) and with Erika's help, starts looking for anything of interest.

OOC: Killilli, left the container's former contents ambiguous depending which way you wanted to RP it, but I'll go ahead and make a choice!
As Ted takes a gulp from the waterskin a rush of balsamic vinegar hits his taste-buds unexpectedly. Glint looks over sheepishly, "Sorry I must have last used this to spice up my rations! I'm also starting to get that stuffy vibe for your compatriots Mr. Dreadbane. Life's too short, even for a gnome, and it must be always lived to its fullest! Looks like we are responsible for the east then sir."
The two head off towards the eastern wing of the library.
Glint Investigation Check: 12 and w/ advantage if Ragnar is Helping: 21
Ted gulps at the vinegar, swallowing it as he stifles a cough. “This is a really good vintage!” He forces a macho laugh over his spluttering. “Yeah, I used to drink this all the time back in Zozobra, everyone else would be on the floor though, I was the only one who could handle it. It’s um... tangy, strong stuff though.” He puffs out his chest.
As they head into the library, veering to the east, Ted looks at the higher shelves reading out the book titles to Glint, trying his best not to mispronounce anything.
As Erika carefully walks through the shelves and rubble to the north, watching where each armored bootstep falls and keeping a second set of eyes out, she looks at Ragnar. "You don't think I am... stuffy, do you?"
She sighs. "Maybe I have just taken the losses and disappearances to heart, on this trip. The old songs, they do not typically have such feckless allies... and such undignified deaths."
She looks back at Ted before they disappear out of sight, as the rogue stands amazed at the little toy the gnome had produced. "Though if you had told me six weeks ago that one of the most stout companions through it all was "Dreadbane"... I might have called you a kronidiot."
Ragnar looks back at Tedbane and his new friend, Glint, and shakes his head.
"I'm not sure about the word stuffy," Ragnar says. "I suppose if it is the opposite of those two then it must be a compliment. You sing, you fight, and I'm sure you dance and feast and drink as well. What more would one want."
He continues forward into the library, eyes scanning from left to right and up and down.
"Perhaps not being stuffy means exaggerating about your own abilities and dressing like a tropical bird."
Ragnar stops and turns to Erika and looks intently at her.
"If the worst should come I will make sure you have your shield in hand and a weapon in the other. You will cross as you should."
Erika's eyes light up at the first comment, and she gives a quick laugh. "I forget, you had not yet met us when we found our way to that bar in Timbergrove. Would you believe that I had to use every ounce of magic.... and alchohol... in my blood to put on a full musical show?"
She looks wistful for a moment. "Ted's lyrics were a bit strange, but they fit the music. Had the crowd entertained until the sword-swinging and fire-setting started. That is usually the sign of a great party, back home!"
At the last comment, she gives him a resolute nod. "Aye, and I should return the favor for you. But I expect both of us will be striding home to Ygdridan, a pair of heroes, long before we cross into Valhal."
Glint finds a cache of books about enchantments as well as a few practical guides.
Ragnar discovers journals about travel in the astral planes and moving between planes. He also discovers a toppled small pillar with an instrument beneath it.
"This is amazing," Zira calls from her and Gen-ga's search area.
"Be careful...we discovered a trap," Gen-ga adds next their tone cautious.
OOC: Everyone give me a perception check.

Glint points one of the books in the cache out to Ted, "Wow, this library is pretty amazing! Look at this stack of ancient self-help books over here Mr. Dreadbane, there is even a copy of Jilar's Magic Made Easy: A Practical Guide to Enchantments for Beginners! I don't even know who Jilar is, but I'll skim anything that purports to hold knowledge of the arcane."
As Glint begins to quickly skim through the cache of books, he asks Ted, "So you grew up in Zozobra also then Mr. Dreadbane? What path led you to the Institute?"
As Glint and Ted are talking, Glint hears Gen-ga's warning call. The gnome's ears perk up.
Ragnar looks at the journals, trying to decide if they're worth taking or not as he thumbs through them a little. Noticing the instrument under the pillar, he points it out to Erika.
As he's about to check the instrument closer, he hears Gen-ga's warning and looks more closely at the pillar and the area around it, checking for traps.
Erika nods. "Hmm. Curious. I wonder..." She also takes a look at the pillar, seeing if there are any traps. Before moving to clear the pillar from the instrument, she takes a good look around to make sure nothing creepy has descended on the group.

Ted shrugs, ”Seen all I had to see there, done all that could be done. Sometimes a fish just grows too large for it’s lake. This sounded like fun, some people flee from danger, but I run towards it. How about you?”
Ted looks over his shoulder, “Speaking of danger....” a grin grows across his face.
Glint whispers back to Ted, "Born and raised in Zozobra. I thought I would never leave the Dreidylen workshop, Mr. Dreadbane, but then the Institute came and offered myself and all my family members a place in their organization. I loved making toys, just not within the cramped confines of a small inter-city building. Life on the road has a been a bit more... suitable."
Erika and Ted notice that the party is no longer alone. A creature is stalking the shelves not far from Zira and Gen-ga who seem focused on disarming the trap in front of them to free an object of interest.
As Glint continues to introduce himself Erika hears yet another creature and another coming from the darkness that the party's lights and the existing magic light does not reach from her and Ragnar's side of the library! Yes, Erika hears two more distinct hissing and guttural clicking noises coming from the north side of the library but yet she can not see anything there!
