This room contains smashed wooden crates and furnishings piled along the walls, all shrouded in dust and cobwebs. Four hobgoblins startle as you all rush in. They emit uncharacteristically high pitched screams of terror as you all perform a sneak attack.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Chronolo extends a robotic palm, hurtling three crackling Beneldritch Cumberblasts into three separate Hobgoblins. This Warforged didn’t care for preserving life. After all, this is what it was specifically designed to do.
This hall has a 150-foot-high arched ceiling buttressed by stone pillars that have lit sconces protruding from them at 10-foot intervals. In the middle of the room, lying on its back on the stone-tiled floor, is a 100-foot-tall figure made of molded iron, its feet pointing toward the double door to the south. The construct is missing its head, and there are gaps in its outer shell through which the construct’s inner supports and mechanisms can be glimpsed. A massive female fire giant stands on the construct’s chest, looking over some sort of schematic, 20 feet above the floor. Flitting around her are three smoke mephits. At the north end of the room is a 20-foot-deep pit with a dusty stone sarcophagus at the bottom.
This must be Emberosa. You have no doubt. If you are stealthing or hiding, i'm going to need stealth checks.
Since Caim was the only one who rolled: as you walk into the huge chamber and gasp, it echoes louder than you think, bouncing off the walls in a comical manner. Emberosa and her smoke mephits look around and see you all.
It's initiative time. This is the boss of the level.
Chronolo emits a rather static sigh that quickly turns into one of anger. There was another construct, seemingly pulled apart by the Fire Giant! The Warforged mage diverts some of the power from its core outwards, Subtle Spelling a Hex on the Giant to give it disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks!
"Why is it always Giants down here!" Diesa complained in frustration as she redrew one of her swords, the edge of the blade strangely coated with a dark purplish ichor.

At the moment nothing can be heard. It's a fairly large room, or, perhaps, no one is making noise at the moment.
Gnomon slowly, ever so quietly, opens the door and slithers in along the immediate wall to his left, hiding.
