OOC: I assume it is Manshoon that ordered the retrieval of the Stone so Rotthran would go straight to them, earn Brownie Points.
OOC: Sounds good.
Rotthran, you go to Kolat Tower and you let them know you need to speak to Manshoon. As you're granted with an audience, he's looking through his spellbook and he turns to you when you give him the message and the stone. "Oh, I hardly need to lay low." He thinks about it for a moment. "I'm aware of the Eye's foolish plan to take the stone and wipe out our sources. This is a great gift, but useless without the keys. I appreciate you bringing this to me and you will be rewarded."
Manshoon snaps his fingers and a dwarven woman steps forward and gives you a sack of 500 gold pieces.
"Now it's your turn to lay low. I will send a message to you when the time is ready."

As you set down the book, you watch as it opens to a page and cups are set on the table. Roland nods and points to one. "Delayed Blast," he says. "It sounds interesting." He brings up his pack and begins to take vegetables from his bag.
Roland begins to walk you through the steps to make this drink, which combines sarrak, a juice made from cherries called red renth, and the garden vegetable sweetstalk.
When Roland is done, he offers Lussa a try. Give me a Survival Check to see how you mix the ingredients.

As you continue to rummage through the Library, you find a couple of more cooks about Waterdeep noble, one being "Baron of Blood, the Artor Morlin Story" and "Xanathar's Guide to Xanathar."

Meep's eyes grow wide when he sees these titles, and he'll bring them down to the common room to show to whomever is there.
Lussa, you manage to make a drink similar to Roland's in both look and flavor. As you do this, Meep comes down with a couple of books he found in the library.

Twitch gets up from where they were curled up in front of the fire and shakes themselves vigorously then goes over to squat next to Meep and look at the books....though there won't be much in the way of actual reading...
Twitch, you walk over and notice the books. The only interest you have is that you think they might be of help in killing the Xanathar or exploiting a weakness. Same with the Baron of Blood book, though there's a bit of you that's excited about a vampire potentially in Waterdeep.
Rotthran, you make it back to the manor. You get there and the renovations crew is done for the day.
Is there anything else anyone would like to do before dinner and sleep?

The next day, Rotthran will visit the shop where he bought the two silvered daggers, pay the tab and buy the two +1 daggers for 250 + 150 currently owed.

Lussapushes her version of the drink over to Meep, "wanna try my first attempt at making drinks? Lim and Roland are teaching me some basics of bartending."
Lussawill make one more attempt at the Delayed Blast, (Survival check: 14), then discuss the results with Lim and Roland.
When a significant portion of the group is nearby, she will introduce Roland to those that haven't met him and open the question about offering him a position(, or possibly a partnership?) at the manor, if he's interested.

Sounds good, we can do that when we jump to the next day.
Meep, you begin to go through the Xanathar book and you read that he's actually the latest line in Xanathar. For the most part, these seem like ramblings about Lady Silverhand - who you met earlier - and the various lords of Waterdeep and how he doesn't like them. You also read a chapter about his goldfish Sylgar, who he loves like a pet.
As Meep drinks his drink, there's a delay before he feels tipsy. Roland notices the results and nods. "That's about right nice work."
Roland does accept Lussa's offer to meet everyone he can - which includes the four of you downstairs. He also accepts a position at the manor as a goundskeeper and bartender to go along with his druid skills. As he does this, Lim writes on the chalkboard "Healer!" insinuating his skills could be useful on missions.
With that, Roland says he can go back to the Blushing Mermaid for the evening and return tomorrow morning.
Is everyone ready to proceed to the next day?

Delmalis would accept the idea of Roland coming to work for them, and suggest that he might be a better option for the spare room than some random renter.
Roland stops and nods. "Sure, I can take the spare bedroom. I don't need much and I'm willing to pay rent if needed. Thank you very much for the opportunity."

With that, we'll call it a night. Everyone gets a full days rest as the sun comes up. Assuming everyone heads downstairs to begin their morning routine of coffee, breakfast, and idle chat, there's a knock at the door as a drow woman in decorative leathers. As she moves, you can hear a slight jingle of what you assume is chain mail. "Those who are guarding Drizzt will want to head with me to the Field of Triumph in the Sea Ward."
Roland is up, making breakfast as Lim pours coffee. The children are also out of their backpack house reading pamphlets and stitching together small books.
What's everyone doing?

Unless he's needed or something comes up, Delmalis is going to spend 12-16 hours a day for the next few days reading his new manual.
Rotthran bows, scrapping his new earnings together, drawing up his hood on his cloak and leaves for the manor.
