Meep nods, and develops a nascent respect for the dark elf. He speaks in brief terms about how miserable the Duergar treated him from the moment he hatched, and how much better it is above ground, despite the brightness. "We've found a new pack now, yes? Stronger together, and decidedly anti-grey Dwarf!" Meep grins.
" Why you making door-picture with Zintirum symbol, Little Dragon?"
" Why you making door-picture with Zintirum symbol, Little Dragon?"
"Huh? Oh, this? I was practicing - is this something you recognize?" Meep clears the remnants of chicken from where it's staining his notes, and holds up a very badly drawn sketch of the same symbol. "I've seen this one all over the place in the sewers, but I thought it was related to the alligators that were supposed to be down there, so I always avoided them."
"People are selfish, it isn't a racial trait. Anyways, best to eat fast and move. It's been two days since this fellow went missing and there's no way to tell from here if he's been moved as soon as we can," Sybil interjects before drinking her ale and whispering, "This place give me the chills. The ones who grabbed him were also drinking here,"
(Does all of these eating and drinking count as a short rest? Asking as a warlock without a spell slot)

Lussafinishes her drink. "I'm ready to go. Let's get this new pack prowling." She'll lay a light hand on Meep's shoulder as she stands and exits with a nod to the bartender unless the group says otherwise, to get out into the night were her vision will be of the most use.

" Its Zintarim bad people symbol they are slavers and stealers long time. Now they say ' legislative business' but they still bad."
Twitch looked confused as everyone rose, " We know where man is?"
Meep chews on that thought for a moment (as well as an undigested bit of chicken), nods, and then noticing that Delmalis and Lussa are no longer at the table, he scurries out to join them in the street.
(Meep used Arcane Recovery to get a spell slot back during that short rest.)
Delmalis will initially start to move as far away as polite from Lussa before gritting his teeth and deciding to at least attempt not to hold her responsible for all of her people, and he'll move to stand on the other side of Meep from her.
"Lead the way Lussa but if you don't mind, if a discussion is needed, let me handle it," Sybil states as she piles up her dishes and heads out of the bar, keep an eye out for anyone watching her.

Gloom envelops a narrow alley as dark as a dungeon — and as odorous as one, too. Nearly all the streetlamps have been smashed. The only light that pierces the darkness is a faint flickering from down the lane, like a distant candle.
It takes the party a bit to find Candle Lane. Lussa has trouble finding someone who knows the location at first, mostly because they don't know where it's at. After a few minutes, she finds someone who knows where Candle Lane is at. You finally meet a dwarven street musician who points you to the right direction before resuming his harp.
The help arrives at a rundown building with a snake symbol on it. The warehouse stands at the back of an outer yard behind a high fence. The gate on the fence isn’t locked. The building’s three points of entry — a front door, a large warehouse loading door, and a painted-over window.
The front door also has a peep hole.
Anyone who wants to determine the symbol on the warehouse, go ahead and make an Intelligence check.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Excited to see whether or not the symbol matches the drawings in his notes or the minor illusions he was conjuring, Meep weaves through the legs of his taller companions and takes a closer look.
As you approach the building, you step on a couple of puddles of what you hope is rain. As you listen, you can hear the sound of ruffling and whispers before it goes silent.

On the first floor, the only enterances you see are of the warehouse loading door, normal door, and window. You move to the other side and notice another window on the top floor. Using your amazing athletics, you manage to get to a second-story window that's wide open and tumble inside without making any noise. This is what you see.
The upper floor contains a suite of offices that get little use by the Zhents. The rooms have desks, chairs, and bare shelves covered with dust and draped in cobwebs. Harmless rats skitter about. Mounted above each office door is a steel bell.
OOC: I didn't say this before but automatics 20s in skill and ability checks are successes.

If the area seems clear, Sybil will conjure a mage hand and have it move the door while she moves a distance away and test to see if it's open, if closed, knock.
