Twitch arrives at the same time that Meep is questioning the armor.

Lussa will pass along about the black pudding and move to check the last door also.

Twitch passes back, " Theres pudding?"

Twitch, you find something on the ground that appears to be a spider web. As you trace it, you realize it's hanging from Roland's pant leg.

Meep as you search through the armor, you find a piece of paper inside of the helmet.

 As you observe this, you notice a saddened look on Roland's face as he stares at the statue of Dumathoin, as if he's remembering his past.

Demalis, you make it across the bridge and it's locked. It's the only door that seems so. As you stand there, a voice pops in your mind and you feel a sense of dread wash over you.

 If you listen to the voice, give me a strength check.

Twitch shoves the spider web in their mouth and chews thoughtfully.

 As Twitch chews the web a thought is forming......some sort of eating contest where whoever gets eaten first is the loser.......

Meep looks at the paper, and after a long silence says "I have a secret to share. I have a brother who is still with the grey dwarves. There were two of us in one egg, and we had plans to escape and start a shop and not have to do cleaning duty for dirty dwarves any more. I got out, but he didn't, and i was too scared to go back for him. This is why I study magic, to be strong enough to save him someday."

Meep sits down, and sighs heavily, a very sad look on his face. 

Given an all clear, Sybil incidate for the other to follow but giving a word about the trapdoor along the way, "Best to assume everything will try to kill you along the way. People dont like others getting their hidden treasures,"

As soon as Meep shares his secret, a door opens, revealing a descending staircase.

Roland pats Meep's shoulder. "That was brave of you to share, and I will help you free your brother. We will find a way. I'll also share a secret with you. In my past life, I married a dwarven woman who went into Undermountain with myself and our friends. We grew old together but she grew sick and died. Dumathoin was her patron diety and it brought back some painful memories."

He sighs and eyes the staircase waiting for everyone to come in.

Is everyone else going to the Dumathoin secret room?

Lussa will head to the secret door.

Delmalis calls back to the others, hand still on the door, but hasn't tugged it open yet, "Hey everyone! There's a locked door over here. I kinda think it wants me to open it, but I feel like it should be good to have the rest of you over here when I do, just in case. Maybe just on the other side of the bridge?"

Twitch swallowed the web then looked at Meep, " We find. Save together."

Then runs over to join the rest...

Meep stands there, shaken, for a moment. Then he breathes in deeply and follows his growing pack toward the secret entrance.

"I think everyone is going through this door," Roland says to Demalis.

Those of you who go through the door and down the stairs arrive at the next level.

Although deep underground, this vault is lit by streams of sunlight that pour down from the ceiling, catching motes of dust in their luminous pools. Ornate columns support a thirty-foot-high vaulted ceiling, which is adorned with carvings of dwarves basking in the presence of their gods. Deep alcoves line the walls, and piled in one of them is a vast golden trove.

Out of the dusty gloom steps an aged dwarf clutching a staff carved and painted to resemble a pair of entwined dragons — one red, one gold. Despite the dwarf’s age, his eyes are steady and bright. “I wasn’t expecting anyone,” he says plainly. “As you can see, the place is a mess. Perhaps you should come back later, after I’ve tidied up a bit.”

Those of you in the room, your gut tells you that this is the gold you've been looking for.

Seeing others go into without dying, Sybil will follow suit, "Having people test for traps is making exploring much easier for myself," Sybil jokes but maintains agrip on her shard just to attack as soon as needed.
