Twitch followed Meep, short-folks needed to stick together.

Stealth: 15

Seeing people heading in, Alberich waves for the other melee fighters to rush in after them. He himself prepares to follow behind them in turn, nocking an arrow on his shortbow.

Once the party goes inside, they see threadbare curtains hanging on the east wall of a long hall, in the middle of which a muscular half-orc in dingy robes stands with his foot on the chest of a male human with wavy red-blond hair. Fire burns around the orc’s clenched fist, and his victim cries and squirms helplessly beneath him.

"Just tells us where the stash is at?" the half-orc cries. 

Seated on a raised platform to the south is a nightmarish figure wearing black robes. It has large white eyes and rubbery purple skin, with four tentacles encircling its inhuman mouth. It cradles and gently caresses what looks like a disembodied brain with feet.

As everyone enters, the figure places down the brain and turns to the half-orc. 

Everyone roll Initiative and take your first round action if you're before the foes.

She looses her readied arrow at the immediate threat to the man on the floor (who she assumes is Floon):  Attack: 9 Damage: 9

Meep initiative: 9

Alberich initiative: 12 

(Huh, when I posted this my initiative was 12, but after a refresh it turned into 22. I guess I'll post my turn)

Taking a look inside, Alberichs eyes quickly spot the red-blonde hair he remembers Floon being described to have. He aims his bow at the half-orc threatening him, but waits once again for someone to distract his target to make it easier to hit somewhere that will hurt.

Ready an attack on the half-orc when I can get sneak attack on it.

Attack: 25 Damage: 19

Sybil Initaitive: 5

"That is disgusting little thing," Sybil comments, "The big one isn't much beter," She tries to blast the devrourer with an Eldtrich Blast

OOC: Demalis, go ahead and post your action and Alberich, I'll still count the attack as your action but your Initiative will still be 12. 

The mind flayer vanishes and the Intellect Devourer dodges Sybil's Eldritch Blast. It looks at Sybil and walks over, trying to hit her with its claws. 

Claws - Attack: 17 Damage: 6

I also need Sybil to make an Intelligence Save DC 12. 

Delmalis moves quickly to attack the half-orc.

Attack: 14 Damage: 7
Attack: 19 Damage: 6

Before the half-orc could cast a spell, Demalis delivers a signature 1-2 combination to knock him unconscious. Alberich's arrow moves past the half-orc as he falls and hits the Intellect Devourer. The Intellect Devourer is bloodied. 

Meep and Twitch, post your actions. 

Sybil Intelligence check: 21

Twitch closed in with the brain-thing taking out both hand axes and hacking at it.

Attack: 11 Damage: 5

BA Attack: 9 Damage: 4

Meep throws his hands up and wails about the futility of resisting against something so powerful -

he'll use his action to Grovel, Cower, and Beg, giving allies advantage on strikes against enemies within ten feet of him that can see him, until the end of his next turn. (if he needs to, he'll move to within ten feet of the mind flayer and the intellect devourer before dropping to his knees and begging for their lives.)

Before the Devourer can make a meal out of Sybil, Twitch runs in and hacks it with one good swipe of her hand axe. 

Everyone is out of Initiative. A man is lying on the ground, breathing heavily. 

Near the throne where the Mind Flayer sat is a satchel.

Inside the satchel 

Meep picks himself up, dusts himself off, and says "Well, I'm glad that didn't get embarrassing." He'll take a look inside the bag. 

"Hello, you ok there?" Sybil leans down and checks the man laying in on the ground, "Are you Floon by any chance? Don't worry, we'll get you out all the same if you're not him,"

Alberich hurries to the man laying on the floor, but makes sure to keep an eye on the curtains on the east hall, in case they hide more enemies. He says to the man: "Floon Blagmaar? Volothamp sent us to find you. Are you alright?"
