Lussa nods, "I agree that daytime would likely be safer, but dusk more exciting, perhaps we can plan it to be leaving to come back home just at dusk and satisfy both desires?  Head out maybe this time tomorrow?  That will give us time to alert the others and be fully prepared."  (And allow a couple of us to maybe scout the area today.)

Both of you might think it could be a good idea to head to the docks or even talk to Eze or one of the children.

Sybil and Lussa

Olivia smiles at Lussa. "I think we can manage that timeframe."

She turns to Sybil. "The children want to install birdhouses for their Alpha Scout community project. Owlbear Scouts who want to attain Alpha Rank have to complete a community project.  Juls and Jax want to study necromancy and she wanted to visit the City. I thought this project would be a good way to get them to the City. And birdfeeders would feed the birds who frequent the graveyards during the day."

She finishes her tea. "Are there any more questions?"

Meep and Delmalis are standing on the street, talking about our options, when all of a sudden a delicious smell wafts from the direction of the docks. "Let's go that way!" Meep says. 

"Speaking for myself for now, I have enough and I will depart to prepare  if my colleague is done as well," Sybil states with a bow and a step back. 

Rotthran looks around for informant beggers, perhaps they know or saw something vital.

Delmalis shrugs and lets his intelligent little companion lead the way.

Lussa shakes her head, "We shall see you tomorrow, then," and with a wave to the children and a bow to their aunt, she will turn to leave with Sybil.

Meep starts looking around for something other than food. Investigation: 21

Rotthran you talk with your informants and it takes them a moment to think about The Black Viper. One remembers three noble houses that were hit - the Jardeths, Rosznars, and the Shadowdusks. As for what was taken, the informants weren't sure, except for gold and other trinkets though it might be that the nobles aren't telling the Watch everything. 

If you want to know about each noble house, make a History check.

Meep with that 21, you overhear some sailors talking about drow who've been coming and going from the ship The Eyecatcher. As you scan the docks, you arrive at a grandiose ship with purple sails. A drow woman wearing a sailor's cap and brandishing a rapier spots the two of you. "You two! State your business!"

History Check: 5

Rotthran will ask which house was hit the latest and if no other leads, will investigate the crime scene.

 Delmalis moves slightly behind Meep, trying to keep the shorter kobold between him and the drow, "We're looking for Bregan D'aerthe."

Rotthran also learns learns the latest house was the Rosznars who the latest burglary. The Watch escorts him to the crime scene. At first glance it looks like a simple smash and grab, about 200 gold missing from the coffers and a couple of documents. You also speak to the investigator and he notes that this crime scene is "less messier than the others."
