Xunhar moves to the side a bit in order for the priestess to be able to look him in the eye (in Elvish) "Isn't it obvious? We're helping each other out of here... alive." and sinks back again, looking over his shoulder to check on Varnos and Max and nod towards the trapdoor "We should move." he tries to take a glimpse of the rest of the group lingering back, trying to get their attention and hurry them along.
She reaches up to her neck and pulls the pendant with the spider holy symbol off, then throws it to the ground. She states something in elvish:
"I renounce the evil ways of Lolth. From this day forward, I am not a follower nor a priestess of the Spider Queen."
As she floats a couple inches of the ground, streams of magic shooting from her skin and dissipating, she casts one last spell: She limns the bottom of the spider altar in purple flames that cause it to collapse onto the pillows. Under it is squished the body of a giant spider. She then falls to the ground and collapses.
Varnos looks towards the chest, slowly trying to ease his way down and into the room below. He then slowly & quietly moves towards it, looking around to make sure no other areas might have room to hide things.
"Alright, I'm in. Are you in the chest or elsewhere in this room?"
A dumbfounded Xunhar spends several moments staring wide-eyed at the fainted priestess, surprised by the effect of his words, but mostly by the whole turn of events "What in the Nine Hells just happened here?" he asks mostly to himself, before sheathing his sword back and picking up the priestess from the ground with two hands. He approaches the trapdoor and, "Psst! Help out here." he tries to lower down the priestess gently to his companions before coming down himself to join them, taking the priestess back over his shoulder in order to have a free hand. At the reactions of his companions towards the fainted priestess, he just displays a clueless look and shakes his head, "Let's worry about getting our stuff back and getting out of here."
“Down! They’ve left and not returned... we gots to do something,” Moxo says excitedly, but thankfully still in a whisper, and starts crawling over to the trap door in the armory, slowly starting to open it.
“No!” Zenga says in a loud hush, while Fred is more about the whispered “Stop, you fool!” They both reach out for Moxo but end up tripping over each other, almost knocking themselves into the opening door.
Moxo is quietly as possible opening the trap door...
With the priestess over his shoulder, Xunhar nervously looks to the sides and tries to hear if there's anyone coming for them, he comments absently "If not in the armory... where in the Abyss are they keeping the prisoner's belongings?" then looks at the others in the room, raising one eyebrow "What are you two doing there anyway? What's in there?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Varnos let out a frustrated grunt as he looked over the chest. "There's some kind of chest down here. Can either of you help with getting this thing open?" He looks around to try & find some other option to get it open.
The only way you could get it open is with a weapon.
You do find some treasure though:
The side table holds a small silver-framed mirror worth 10 gp. The small shrine to Lolth is carved of zurkhwood and bone, and inlaid with semiprecious stones. It is worth 50 gp.

Varnos:
"The chest."
Varnos makes his way towards the chest, looking it over to try & tell if it is locked or safe to open.
"Oh, I see. Well why didn't you say so?" Armalis climbs down behind Varnos.
Investigation check please!

((Are the trapdoor and priestess in the same room? I thought 3 people had snuck off a ways... we still in the armory? Am I the only one confused?))
Ok. Here's how things are:
Room a (Armory): Trapdoor, 2 doors.
Room b (Shrine): Priestess, another trapdoor.
Room c (Under Shrine): webbing on walls.
That answer your question?
Armalis assists Xunhar, hefting the priestess over a shoulder then lowering her gently to the ground. He peers around the chamber.

That's good enough for the party. The chest is trapped and locked. You could try to smash it in, that wouldn't trigger the trap.
((Yes, thanks!))

Moxo is quietly as possible opening the trap door...
Inside the room under the armory sit 2 drow and a drow with nicer looking equipment, playing a card game. They have not noticed anyone.
