"Yes, I have spent a long time in the underdark and never experienced anything like this. What could it mean?"
With Xunhars help Vierna tries to carry Jimjar out of the cavern through the tunnel taking them to the Darklake, hoping the other travellers make haste in joining them.
"This doesn't feel like the... normal Faerzress, if that can even be said of it."Xunhar sneers at no particular direction in the darkness around the group, as if surrounded by something disgusting.
((P.S.: PC is back and alive :) group sheet updated))
"Are you saying...the Faerzress has...been altered somehow? What could...do that? It must be...powerful magic. I really hope...this is a...local phenomena." Vierna answers Xunhar going as fast as she can carrying Jimjar.
(OOC: Thanks Coelhogerge, good job :-) Perhaps you can add Rinnill Teloara to that list)
Venrila follows the others, and helps with the people that seem to have lost their mind, kind of.
"Where should we go?"

Rinnill kneels down in front of Turvy. "Uh ... hi there," he says over the screaming, trying to sound upbeat, but mostly pulling off worried. "I'm Rinnill. I don't think we've actually been introduced." He pauses. "Are you in pain?"
Looking back over his shoulder while still helping Vierna carry Jimjar, Xunhar raises one eyebrow at the disturbed Stool, "Can someone help out with that? Magically, if possible. Carrying it along otherwise."

Topsy and Asha try to calm down Turvy, who continues to scream. Stool follows along after Venrila, and Asha eventually picks up Turvy and carries her along. After a couple minutes, everyone seems to return to normal.
"What was that?" Vierna says in a worried tone to no one in particular. "We should keep moving. I think we are not too far from the Darklake now. We will have to decide if we should try to cross it or if we should go around it to reach Gracklstugh."Vierna moves out to scout ahead being extra wary of any disturbances in the Faerzress.
After another period of trekking through the underdark the travellers finds Vierna waiting by a small cavern prepared for safe resting. While chewing on a tasty mushroom Vierna tries to strike up a conversation. "So, Venrila is hunting for Yochlols, Rinnill is searching for his family and Don...well Don was chased down from the surface I guess, but what about the rest of you. Escaped from drow captivity right? No small feat I would say, can we expect you are being followed yet or was that the problem you took care of earlier?" Vierna looks over at Xunhar and Varnos. "And what are your plans besides helping Stool to Neverlight grove?" She adds while reaching for her waterbottle.

Vierna looks over at Xunhar and Varnos. "And what are your plans besides helping Stool to Neverlight grove?" She adds while reaching for her waterbottle.
Xunhar practices a sneer, but cuts it short and nods "A Mizzrym compound it seemed, I wouldn't know, knocked in the back of the head while stopping by a small svirfneblin outpost for supplies. Our friend Asha here would probably be more well informed on that." he almost smiles as he brings the subject, then turns back to Vierna, crosses his arms and continues, "We had an encounter with some of their scouts." he flashes their house insignias from his pocket, "Though I'd say we're closer to shaking them off our trail since the lava flow claimed one of the tunnels we went through..." he looks off into the darkness in the direction of the Darklake eagerly, "As for plans... we had a mind to survive first, not an easy thing around here. And Neverlight grove sounded like a place we could stop and think on that."
Vierna listens attentively to the words of Xunhar while chewing another mushroom. "I have never visited Neverlight Grove, but I heard it is a community for the Myconids such as Stool. Should be a peaceful enough place to lay low for a while should the Mizzryms still be searching for you. I would expect them to be relentless in their search for an apostate such as Asha." Vierna looks to the former priestess of Lolth with a mix of contempt and admiration. "Gracklstugh I have visited though, it can be a harsh place for the drow in my experience but always open for profitable business on the part of the duergar. Perhaps we should make a stop there to resupply?" Vierna asks and looks to the others.

Xunhar nods, "It's mostly why I've vouched for it when we had to choose somewhere to go, and we've got our little ambassador to vouch for us there too." he indicates Stool, taking a moment to analyze the creature, hoping its calmness lasts, "If we're to stop anywhere, we need to keep our eyes open, their scouts and informants could be anywhere."
"Agreed." Vierna nods at Xunhar. "About what happened earlier, you mentioned something about the faerzress. I have no scholars knowledge of the faerzress myself. Can you tell us more of what you suspect."
Xunhar shakes his head "I'm not one to lecture you about it, but I feel it." he raises his hands and curls his fingers as if mimicking some spellcasting while grimacing, "It interferes with some schools of magic, making them somewhat less efficient, or their effects less predictable, often to the detriment of the caster. Scrying and teleportation are particularly affected." he sighs and looks back at Vierna, "As for the effects back there, I'd advise we find someone more knowledgeable. My guess is as obvious as any... the Underdark is nasty."
Venrila was listening to the conversation, sometimes adding small remarks.
"Yeah, that didn't seem pleasant for some of us. Wondering what it was exactly as well, and lets hope we do not encounter it again; does anyone know maybe some way to protect (some of) ourselves against such effects? I unfortunately only know of ways that do not last very long."

Vierna looks over at Venrila. "I´m afraid I have nothing to offer in that regard, perhaps Rinnill or Asha can help out somhow. I agree Xunhar that the underdark can be unforgiving, but whatever it was back there I have never encountered anything like it, and I have been travelling these passages for most of my life. Anyone else have any ideas on what happened earlier?"
Rinnill, who has been content to just listen as the others talk, looks a bit alarmed at being address. "Me? No. I was taught little more about the Underdark than to avoid it. It's a struggle to live on the surface, but from what I understand — and quite frankly, from what I've experienced lately — it's preferable to living down here. The first time I heard the word faerzress was just a few moments ago. But if it causes people to be as disturbed as the little ones were before, why would anyone want to live down here?"
