"What ails me? I have the same disease as that fool of a dwarf. Medicine didn't help him, and it won't help me! However, I will tell you a little about it, if that's what you wish...

I came from Shadycreek Run a few years back with my sister, Hulil to work for the Uttolot family in Palebank Village. We kept an eye on the artifacts passing this way to steal them. When that fool of a dwarf, Urgon Wenth, returned from his travels, I waited for him to sell the magic items he'd found to Pelc's Curiosities and then stole them all. Most I gave to my sister - except this," at this point, Tulgi pulls her cloak aside to reveal an ornate dagger, "I searched Urgon's cabin for more, but I found nothing."

OOC: Can Sartorin roll his medicine check again as Raadox was helping him?

"I'm just going to see if there is anything special about this dagger, Tulgi.  Fear not," Raadox tells the dwarf. He will move off into a corner of the cabin and begin quietly chanting to himself.  He's going to begin casting Detect Magic as a ritual (10 minutes casting time).

"Fine! Go ahead, why don't you?" Tulgi doesn't seem to like you being in here, but the effects of the Charm Person are stopping her from kicking you out.

Sartorin reaches out to check her fever and...

...pulls his hand back quickly realizing he is well on his way to making things worse.  He gets up and moves to the kitchen.

I'll get started on some cold compresses.

Sartorin seems oblivious to the fact that Tulgi will die by turning into an ice statue as he goes off to get some cold compresses.

<ooc - yes, well, his 'other duties as assigned' in the monastery were in the kitchen more so than the infirmary, <shrugs>

Webb gives Tulgi a disapproving frown upon hearing that she is a thief. He will then pace around the room asking a barrage of questions. "What symptoms do you have? When did they appear? Where is your sister now? Do you know if she or Master Pelc have also shown any symptoms of this insidious affliction?"

Persuasion: 8 if needed

"I haven't heard from my sister for a while. Nor have I come across Pelc since I stole those goods." Tulgi blinks as the Charm Person wears off, "Get out of my house," she growls, drawing her dagger as two wolves creep out from under the bed.

OOC:  Charm Person lasts an hour.  Have we been in there that long?  I was hoping to cast a 10 minute Ritual first and take a quick look around with Investigation

Sartorin returns with some rags soaked in cold water, and starts putting one on her forehead.

"My sister is Hulil. She lives at the Croaker Caves, north of the village. As for Pelc, her shop is on the main street - you should have no trouble there."

"Do you have any idea where Urgon got this dagger or how long he had it?"

"No. I assume he got it on his travels in Eiselcross - perhaps you could tell me more?"
